Hello and thank you for looking at my monster!  I had hoped to restore it completely but I can't take her with me when I leave and I can't leave her here, so...

I've done so much work to this truck...had the rear end, transmission and transfer case gone over and everything checked out really nicely.  Mechanic said the rear-end looked brand new.  It does have the floating axles, and the lockers on the front are made by Warn.  It is 3/4 ton and will definitely pull and haul, the frame is in really good shape.

New:
Radiator, Carburetor, Custom Breather, Fuel Pump and Filter, Distributor, Cap, Points, Rotor, Condenser, Coil, Marine Battery, Starter
Painless Wiring Harness!
Trailer Brake System!
Complete Brake System, lines included.

We put the windshields in, repaired the floorboards and sealed them and then put in leather bucket seats (VERY comfortable).  I also have the big mud tires for the buyer to enjoy.  I have the door panels and some other odds and ends also that are not in the pictures.  The body has a little to be desired but is decent and functional as it is.  It has some issues in the normal places such as rockers, bed corners, etc, and has been painted before.

The engine runs great and the truck does everything it should.  The problem it does have is that we have not cleaned and sealed the fuel tank, so the truck will eventually suck up junk and stall.  This is the only mechanical problem that I know of, but because of this it will have to be trailered to its new home.

*I've got more than $5,000 in this truck and I know I'm going to take a loss on it, but in this economy that's just the way it is.  But, if the bidding gets up to $4,000 I'll throw in the D100 'parts truck' for free!!!  The parts truck has a great body and would run with a new carburetor and it only has 30,000 original miles.  If the Power Wagon does not sell for $4,000 the winning buyer will have the option to purchase the parts truck for $700.*

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football

Fri, 16 May 2014

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.

What is the fastest car in the world in 2024?

Sat, Jun 15 2024

It wasn't that long ago that the notion of reaching 200 miles per hour in a car, on a road, seemed basically impossible. As you likely know by now, that time has passed. And once that threshold was crossed, the automotive world immediately began eying the next triple-digit benchmark: 300 miles per hour. It may have taken a little while, but the 300-mph line has been crossed, and some cars have moved well past that seemingly insane speed number. While some of these speeds have been achieved in simulations (including the fastest car listed below), there's little doubt that a driver with nerves of steel and a heavy right foot could indeed push several automobiles up to 300 miles per hour and beyond. Interestingly, it’s not just one car or automaker in the 300-mph club, as a handful of models have earned a place (sometimes claimed but not yet demonstrated) on the leaderboard. The fastest car in the world is: Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut (330 MPH) That title goes to the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, which recorded a staggering 330 mph top speed earlier in 2023. The carÂ’s twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 lays down 1,600 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, which plays a significant role in delivering that speed, but KoenigseggÂ’s engineers have given the car a lot more than mind-blowing power. The Jesko Absolut has a super-slippery 0.278 drag coefficient and a nine-speed transmission that shifts so quickly itÂ’s almost imperceptible. Koenigsegg calls it a Light Speed Transmission (LST), saying its shifts happen at almost light speed. While that might be a slight exaggeration, the gearbox is impressive, bringing several wet multi-disc clutches and a super lightweight construction. As Koenigsegg says, "the Jesko Absolut is destined to achieve higher, more extraordinary speeds than any Koenigsegg or any other fully homologated car before it." How expensive is the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut? If you were reading that and wondering how much the fastest car in the world costs, the price tag is just another dizzying number on the Jesko Absolut's spec sheet. All 125 Absolut cars offered sold out at a price of almost $3 million. Of course, being able to afford the Koenigsegg is just the first step in realizing its full potential. There are very few places on the map that can support a 300-plus-mph speed run, and the locations that do are not conveniently located.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn

Fri, Mar 27 2015

We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
