1973 Dodge D100 Adventurer With 400 Magnum V8 Big Block Engine on 2040-cars
Pipe Creek, Texas, United States
1973 Dodge D-100 Adventurer with 400 magnum Big Block Engine 39,134 miles on the engine. 400 Magnum Big Block V8 High Performance Engine (Runs on Premium Fuel). 4 Barrel Edelbrock Carburetor Dual exhaust from headers into red cherry pickers. Rebuilt 727 3-Speed Automatic Transmission (rebuilt July 2013 by Moses Lake Transmission in Moses Lake, WA). MSD Ignition System (new March 2014) Electric fuel pump. New Spark Plugs (March 2014). MSD Laser Gauges in dash. Aluminum and Mopar parts throughout. Hurst Grip Automatic Shifter with Chrome Indy H Stick. Rally Full Windshield Rearview Mirror (3 ft). 4 point harness black leather bucket seats with fold down center console and under seat storage. CD Player/Am-FM Radio/MP3 Aux with amplified and high performance speakers. Tow Hitch with 7-Way Plug (Wiring goes to under the dash, but needs a brake control unit). Only 39,200 miles on the engine. Kill Switch for the ignition system is set up and ready, but it is not hooked up. I currently have the MSD ignition system hooked directly to the battery. This truck is awesome and runs like a dream, but here's a few minor things your should know about going into the bid. The body of the truck is good, but it is not perfect. Take a look at the passenger side image you can see some minor dents along the door and truck bed. The back bumper is fiberglass and has 2 small cracks on it. The cap and tailgate have some holes and dents where a canopy was secured (see rear truck image). There is a new float in the gas tank, but the new float is an old design that does not synchronize with the new MSD laser gauge. You will need to purchase another float to sync this up. The gas tank is behind the seat. I am pretty sure it is 22 gallons. I got 15-18 MPG going 50-60 miles per hour on a recent trip of 2,800 miles from central WA, to southern CA, to San Antonio TX. Going over the Cascade mountain passes (and all other driving) the truck never went over 2,000 RPM. The drivers side seat has a worn patch on the leather. This is a great truck and has plenty of power. I have a reserve set on this truck. I hate going into a bidding scenario and not knowing what the reserve is, so I will tell you up front, my reserve is set at $10,000. I have well over $10,000 worth of parts in this truck, not including my blood, sweat, and tears and I wouldn't be selling this if my current situation didn't demand it. On Mar-20-14 at 15:15:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Please enjoy a video of my truck!

Dodge rolls out Shaker package for 2015 Challenger
Mon, Feb 16 2015Having an awesome Hemi engine under the hood can deliver impressive performance, but for those who lament not being able to see that big V8 engine doing its thing, hidden away under the hood, Dodge offers the Shaker hood on its Challenger muscle car. And it's just released the option for the updated 2015 model. Now available on two engines and three trim levels – including the Challenger R/T and R/T Plus with the 5.7-liter V8 and the 6.4-liter Challenger 392 – the new Shaker hood brings cold air into the engine compartment and lets everyone see that V8 (or at least an appendage thereof) shaking away in plain view. Arriving 45 years after the original Shaker Challenger, the package includes a satin black hood scoop, cold-air intake, conical air filter and optimized air box, along with Shaker graphics inside, out and under the hood. The 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker and R/T Plus Shaker are available to order now, priced at $35,495 and $38,495, respectively (plus a $995 destination charge), and come bundled with the Super Track Pak. Order books open in March for the 392 HEMI Shaker, which also comes with the Scat Pack, for $42,495 (plus destination and $1,000 gas-guzzler tax if equipped with the manual transmission). We drive the cars of Furious 7... in Forza Horizon 2 [w/video]
Thu, Apr 9 2015On March 27, Turn 10 Studios, the folks behind the Forza Motorsport series, and Universal Pictures, the studio responsible for the Fast and Furious franchise, gave us a match made in heaven, announcing a "standalone expansion" featuring the two franchises. Called Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious, it features the cars from the latest film installment, unique missions and the voice-acting of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, who plays tech guru Tej Parker on camera. A Fast and Furious video game? Seems like a no brainer. It gets better. Rather than limiting the Fast and Furious Edition cars to the expansion game, Turn 10 made them available through one of their (some may say notorious) downloadable content packages. Eight of the expansion's 11 cars were made available for just $4.99 (the only cars that weren't included were the Fast and Furious Edition Nissan GT-R, while the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and McLaren P1 are already available in-game). What's cool ais that the cars featured in both games are visually identical to the vehicles driven by the stars of Furious 7. Each in-game car has an on-screen parallel that plays a role in advancing the film's story. Considering that we're unlikely to score seat time in Dominic Toretto's real Dodge Charger, then, we figured we'd take to the game and test the car in the digital realm. We've got nine little cluster reviews, covering the cars both in the game and how they appear in the movies. And don't worry, there are no major spoilers here. Click on for the cars of Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Fast and Furious Edition Supercharged 7.2L V8 / 900 HP / 663 LB-FT The one vehicle that is mandatory in a Fast and Furious video game, Dom's hot-rodded 1970 Dodge Charger, is as much a character in the films as its driver. Furious 7 marks the fourth appearance of this Mopar beast in the series. Not surprisingly it's a handful to drive, wildly quick and with a four-speed transmission packed full of very tall gears. But beyond that, it's arguably the coolest of the FF Edition cars. This black beauty is exactly as it appears in the latest installment of the film, with the video game version featuring intricate little details, like the moving parts on the BDS supercharger. It's an iconic car, and it's treated as such in the game.
The Dodge Demon is leaked in Fast 8 video with Vin Diesel
Thu, Jan 19 2017It's only week two of the twelve-part Dodge Demon teaser roll out, and it already appears the metaphorical Hellcat is out of the bag. A YouTube video featuring Vin Diesel discussing The Fate of the Furious ( Fast 8) has what are almost certainly two Dodge Challenger Demons parked right in the background. So much for three months worth of build up and mystique. The two cars in the video appear to have the new logo affixed to the fender, right where the current Hellcat logo resides. In addition, the wheels and the massive hood scoop both appear to be the same relative shape as the ones briefly flashed in the latest teaser video. While we can't be 100 percent certain this is really a Demon, all the evidence points to yes. Even if this spoiled Dodge's plans, actually seeing the car here makes us even more excited for the full reveal. We still don't know all the final specs, save that it'll be 200 lbs lighter, so there is still some mystery to be had. The Challenger and Charger Hellcat twins, some of the most brazen and brutish machines currently on the road, were already cranked up to 11. The Demon, with its wide fender flares and comically large hood scoop looks makes the standard car look tame by comparison. We can't wait.
