1964 Dodge D100 Classic Pickup Truck on 2040-cars

Hi Ebay, I've got my classic pickup here for sale. I bought it as a basket case last august and spent the fall restoring it. The interior is new, with new rug, seat, switches, and shifter. It is a three speed on the floor, and the clutch works just fine. The engine is a non-original slant 6. It gets twenty miles to the gallon and can do 75 mph. The headlights are new, alternator is new, radiator is rebuilt, wiring is redone, valves have been lashed, body work has been done, floor has been replaced, bed wood has been replaced, body has been worked on and underside painted. The heater works too well, it's incredible. I've put one hundred miles on this truck in a single day driving around, into the city, on the highway, etc. without issue. The rims and tires were bought by the previous owner last year and have less than five hundred miles on them. The truck has about 20k miles. starts every time, runs fine, and is just plain cool. I am selling it because that's what I do, buy build and sell.
Oh and the gas tank was professionally cleaned and lined and the carb was replaced. |

2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat revealed [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Almost immediately after we drove the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, we began wondering: what's next? Pumping 707 horsepower into the Challenger seemed so crazy - and so intoxicating - we just assumed that Dodge would try that trick again.
Rumors swirled about a Charger Hellcat. Frankly it makes even more sense than the Challenger version. The Charger is a bigger car, and Dodge has never been shy about dropping monster engines under its hood. Hell (cat), we've seen Charger mules running around town that appeared to be the super sedan.
And finally, it's here. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat was revealed today at a preview event near Detroit, and it will be a centerpiece of the Chrysler display this weekend at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Fiat Chrysler taps Amazon, Shell execs to fill roles

CEO Mike Manley said in a letter to employees Thursday that Mark Stewart would join FCA as chief operating officer of North America from Amazon, "a company known for its culture of innovation, and obsession with delivering incredible value to customers." At Amazon, Stewart led teams focused on advanced robotics, artificial intelligence and automation methods. He previously was COO of ZF TRW automotive components supplier. Niel Golightly was named head of global communications. He was most recently Shell's vice president for external relations in North and South America, with a focus on reputation, brand and stakeholder engagement beyond communication strategies. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.
