1952 DODGE PICKUP TRUCK
Thanks for viewing this classic very nice example of yesteryear. If you are seeking a head turning excellent driver, that is more than ready to take home awards at your local show -- look no further. Old pickup truck rule -- even if you occasionally use them for gentle chores. Like everything 60+ years old this one has a story we would love to hear. VIN NUMBER: 82278292 ODOMETER SHOWING 77,665 which is believed to be original. I am listing this vehicle for the owner. He has enjoyed this vehicle since he bought it for his wife 17 years ago. After her passing he has decided to part with it. He bought this truck from a dealer in Waterford, Va., who had supervised the restoration. He believes that its early days were spent wandering the roads of New England. Prior to 1995 it was parked in a barn. The 'restoration' was completed using 90% original materials. The paint was freshened when the current owner had it repainted in 2010. The owner reports that he and his wife often drove this truck around the urban and rural roads of Northern Virginia until his retirement in 2008. In 2008 the retreated to the Northern Neck of Virginia. Cosmetically and mechanically this truck is very nice. The interior is clean...with everything working as expected. The glass is good -- both windows and vents moving without difficulty. The in-line 6 motor is original. It starts reliably employing the manual choke. Yes, she is a bit cold natured! The clutch is strong permitting reasonable shifting of the 3 speed column mounted shifter. The one barrel carburetor is fueled by a NEW fuel pump. It cleanly displays a NEW wooden truck bed. The NEW 6.50 X 16LT HIGHLINER tires still have the confirming 'nipples'.
I am very serious when I describe any item. I try to note anything -- good and bad, that I see or have been told by the owner. My Ebay feedback is important to me. I hope yours is as well. Please be serious with your buying. Please don't bid if you don't have the funds or aren't prepared for any reason to complete this purchase. This vehicle is being offered for sale in other ways, so I reserve the right to terminate this listing -- without notice. AS-IS --NO WARRANTY This vehicle, and all I list, are being sold without warranty. Assume it to be AS IS , WHERE IS! Feel free to ask any questions about this car via the Ebay message system, or if you prefer call my cell 804-450-1189. Thanks for looking and bidding. Ken

Dodge Charger Pursuit takes Tesla interior approach
Fri, Sep 11 2015A police car's computer is just as integral to its duties as a set of lights and sirens. The popular approach for these systems is to grab something like a Panasonic Toughbook laptop, add a big, bulky tray to hold it, and use this inelegant setup for running plates and doing all the other things a cop needs to do while on the road. The downside, besides simple aesthetics, is that this arrangement robs the officer's shotgun-riding partner from legroom. Dodge, though, has come up with a far more elegant and functional solution. Taking a page out of Tesla and Volvo's book, Dodge has replaced the five-inch UConnect display and laptop mount in the Charger Pursuit police car with an enormous 12.1-inch, portrait-format touchscreen display. Called, UConnect 12.1, the new system doesn't do away with the old fashioned computer outright. Instead it moves the bulky unit to the trunk, where it can connect to the display via an ethernet cable. This is good for multiple reasons. First, there are no pricey installation or upfitting charges, like there are for most laptop carriages. Secondly, the plug-and-play nature of the new UConnect system won't require the department to buy new laptops. And third, there's no need to retrain officers, since the only thing that's really changing is the input. While the Charger Pursuit will continue to offer redundant audio and HVAC controls, the 12.1-inch display can, at the press of a "button" split to display Fiat Chrysler's familiar 8.4-inch display. Make one more tap on the screen, and the police-issue laptop can be managed through the full touchscreen. The touchscreen will also display a menu bar at the top of the page, which can easily be edited by officers. All it takes is a simple drag and drop from the application menu to the top of the display. According to Dodge, the touchscreen will even play nice when its operator is wearing gloves. "As America's high-performance police vehicle, Dodge Charger Pursuit is going big for 2016, offering a massive, Uconnect touchscreen system that streamlines a law enforcement officer's computer system with our easy-to-use Uconnect system – on an all-new laptop-sized 12.1-inch touchscreen display," said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge and SRT's president and CEO.
Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.
Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
