2001 Dodge Neon - Bid set at lowest price / Interested lock it in.

This car is being SOLD on other networks. I obtain bid wont sell it.  You bid...You're absolute in on car!

High Hwy. miles 207,000. Car has been running well until about 7 am on 10/8.  I pulled into a McDonalds drive thru for a Egg White Delight.  I heard a bit strange noise (might have been a belt.)  Car immediate shut down - wouldn't start.  I was pushed out of drive thru.. Brother in law owned this car from new.  He drove it little over 3 hrs. on Hwy. FT. for work.  He no longer wanted it about a little over year ago so, he gave it to me for second car rather than junk it.  We've been using it as a second car.  It was running real well - holding Hwy. speed with no problem or, shakes.  It's also a lot better on gas over other car.  It had a clutch put in about 3 yrs. ago.  I put in a $600 job about 1.5 yrs. ago.  This was on brakes + rear wheel bearing.  Car has decent tires all around.  I purchased a brand new bra to cover about 1/2 dollar size hole in front bumper.  It has a working Kenwood stereo AM/FM - CD.  The CD works fine too.  I put battery in about 6 months ago.  I'm not sure what is wrong with car.  It might need a timing belt - not sure.  The back end is making some noise driver side rear.  Like I said, this car has been being driven - not sitter.  It's right now registered + insured in my name.  I called to cancel insurance but, I've been told must first take registration off car.  I'm leasing a new Honda any day now as a second car. I'm going to hit DMV real soon to remove registration and hand in plates.  This car might be a good fixer upper for a mechanic handy man.  I've been told the engine sounds good from a couple mechanics recent.  Not sure what is wrong here but, perhaps, car will kick out another 20 k (have no idea.) Car has been well treated.  I know car has been running good until now. I'd hate to junk it or, let it go for a few hundred...it should do a bit better! Oh, part of dash on drivers side has been removed (lower section) TOP all in tack. I was searching for a turn signal flasher a while back. I was told it was down in there from a auto place likely looking for a job but, later discovered right below steering cover. Plus, car AC has crapped out but, not sure what it needs to work.  The heater and all else works well. Car will need to be picked up - right now not running. Regards to shifting - has been shifting rather well for a 12 yr. old car. Haven't had a problem with it.

Includes a spare rim in trunk - NOT mounted fits the car nice.  I had it on car one time but, noticed lug nuts weren't getting that tight.  You might want to look into it or, trash it.  The car has a doughnut in trunk.  I mean as a spare, lol.

12 new cars that will never go out of style

Tue, Nov 23 2021

Some cars never go out of style. It’s rare, but it happens. They get old. They get depreciated. But they never stop looking cool.  Some might call them modern or instant classics. Within a few years theyÂ’re no longer the latest and greatest, no longer the flavor of the month, but they remain special. Eternally special. Timeless.  These cars arenÂ’t necessarily going to be worth a fortune someday. However, some may not depreciate as rapidly or as far as other models. But thatÂ’s not what weÂ’re talking about here. These are the cars that enthusiasts will always find desirable from the curbside. TheyÂ’re the cars you end up shopping on eBay late at night 10 years later because you canÂ’t get them out of your head. TheyÂ’re the cars that will forever excite you when you spot a clean one in traffic or in a parking lot.  There are plenty of recent examples over the past couple of decades that could count as instant design classics. But then we got to thinking, what 2021 models will be forever cool to stare at? Which new cars and trucks on sale today will we be shopping on eBay late at night in the 2030s? We kept supercars and other ultra-expensive cars off the list to keep things within the realm of attainability, and ended up with 12 total cars. Lexus LC WeÂ’re not applying a numerical ranking to any of the cars on this list, but if we were, the Lexus LC would be No. 1. There isnÂ’t another car design out there that can stir our emotions the way an LC can when itÂ’s just standing still. This car is a concept design come true in the most beautiful of ways, and itÂ’s a shoo-in winner for Concours events decades into the future. All of this heaping praise, and we havenÂ’t even gotten to the LC 500Â’s intoxicating 5.0-liter V8. It doesnÂ’t win drag races. It wonÂ’t be the fastest around the track against any similarly-priced competition. But none of that matters. ItÂ’s quite possibly the best car you can buy new, and that says it all when it comes to the LC. Chevrolet Corvette It might not be the stunner that the Lexus LC is, but the new C8 Corvette is and will always be a special vehicle. ItÂ’s the first mid-engine Corvette, which instantly cements it into an automotive hall of fame section of sorts. All of the performance stats and specs are there to back up its supercar-like looks, and it remains the best performance bargain on sale today.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat #0001 raises $825,000 for charity

Sun, 28 Sep 2014

$60,000 doesn't strike us as a lot to pay for a muscle car with 707 horsepower on tap. $825,000... now that's a different story. But, according to the official SRT blog, that's how much one generous and eager buyer paid for the privilege of getting his (or her) hands on the very first new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Decked out in Stryker Red paint that's usually reserved for the Viper, the supercharged Challenger bearing the VIN 0001 went up for auction at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino in Las Vegas on Saturday under the auspices of Barrett-Jackson. By the time bidding ended, the gavel dropped at $825,000 - nearly 14 times the sticker price - 100 percent of which will benefit Opportunity Vehicle, a charity that aids the intellectually handicapped in the Las Vegas Area.
