2005 Flame Red Dodge Neon Srt-4 Srt4 - 49,xxx Miles! on 2040-cars
Napa, California, United States
Hi, up for sale is my 2005 Flame Red Srt-4. I’m the second
owner and got the car when it had just over 5k on the odometer. This is one of
my three cars, and I just bought my first house, so I’m trying to do the adult
thing by selling it. Here are the basics: Clean Title Passes Smog (Legally) Currently Registered 49,XXX Original Miles Exterior: Interior: Modifications: Hotchkis Lowering Springs Hotchkis Front and Rear Sway Bars Maxxfab 3’’ o2 housing (Currently installed with stock
downpipe) K&N Intake and Filter
(CA smog number, passes visual inspection) Mopar Rice Valve Fuel Pump Re-wire kit Bosch o2 Wideband (Wired but not hooked up) Stage 1 Mopar PCM (Was told this was for a 2005, but it’s
for a 04, so it triggers the battery light. The battery is good and covered
under warranty still) Pizza Boy shift knob HPS Hawk Front Brake pads 17’’ 5Zigen FN01RC rims Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires. Recently bought, plenty
of good tread. All tires are covered under warranty at America’s Tire. -The sunroof currently doesn’t work. The motor is fine, but one of the pins is broken. I knew this was a common problem with the Srt-4, so I bought a pin replacement kit directly from Dodge. I haven’t had time to fix it yet. Stock Parts: Stock Wing / Stock Trunk The car runs and drives great. The clutch/pressure plate/TOB
were all professionally replaced under 500 miles ago professionally by Williams
Transmission in Napa. The car will pass smog as it sits no problem. The car
does not leak or smoke whatsoever. While the car does have some history, most
of it was just due to back luck, and is all cosmetic. I always kept up on the maintenance and
cleaned it often. Regularly changed oil/filter with Mobil Synthetic. The car has always been dependable and makes a great daily
driver. I have never modified the car with more than what you see listed above. Included with the car is the stock trunk and spoiler. The are both in good condition and have been in storage. Also included is the pin kit for the sunroof. Thanks for looking. |

Dodge launches 1 of 1 Viper configurator
Fri, Apr 17 2015Get comfortable because you might be spending a good chunk of time in front of the computer on this. The configurator for the 2015 Dodge Viper GTC 1 of 1 is now online, and it's a ton of fun to play around with. Mechanically, the GTC is just like every current Viper with a 645-horsepower, 8.4-liter V10. But for the special editions Dodge lets buyers tinker with practically everything aesthetic thing. For the exterior alone, the choices include some 8,000 available body colors, two stripe styles in innumerable shades, two hood designs and various brake caliper hues. Plus, there are 16 upholstery colors inside, and options like red seat belts and carbon fiber trim. Dodge reckons there are over 25 million possible combinations, and the models are available to customers on a first-come-first serve basis for each model year. Although, two people wanting identical cars seems pretty unlikely. The configurator is a beauty too. It makes all of these myriad options extremely easy to pick from, and there are even four resolution settings to see your creation in the best possible way. Prices for the GTC start at $94,995 and deliveries are set to start in the second quarter of the year. Although, even if you have no intention of buying one, specifying these custom coupes is still highly entertaining.
Chrysler banks $507 million in Q2, trims 2013 earnings forecast
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Chrysler has some good news and some bad news. First, profits were up 16 percent over the second quarter of 2012, bringing the Auburn Hills, Michigan-based manufacturer $507 million on the back of strong demand for trucks and SUVs (a recurring theme this quarter, particularly in the US). Q2 revenue was up as well, from $16.8 billion in 2012 to $18 billion in 2013. The bad news is that the Pentastar's overall earnings forecast for net income in 2013 has been trimmed from $2.2 billion to between $1.7 and $2.2 billion, according to Automotive News.
In addition to the adjusted net income forecast, Chrysler tweaked its operating profit from $3.8 billion to between $3.3 and $3.8 billion. This has gone largely unexplained by Chrysler, perhaps hoping the news of a three-percent increase in its transaction prices for Q2 will allow it to sweep this adjustment under the rug.
The star of the show for Chrysler has been its US sales, which saw a 10-percent jump, both bettering the industry average of eight percent and improving over the same stretch of 2012. As with the increase in transaction prices, Chrysler has the new Ram pickup and Jeep Grand Cherokee to thank. Perhaps most worrying from this report, though, is that every brand in the automaker's stable saw an increase in sales... except for the Chrysler brand itself.
Weekly Recap: FCA hit with record fine as NHTSA crackdown continues
Sat, Aug 1 2015The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration slapped Fiat Chrysler Automobiles with a record fine this week that could reach $105 million. The punishment comes after NHTSA found problems with the automaker's execution of 23 recalls that affect more than 11 million vehicles. The consent agreement, announced Sunday, calls for FCA to pay a $70-million cash fine and requires the company to spend at least $20 million over a three-year period on industry outreach programs and to beef up old recall campaigns. Failure to comply will result in another $15-million fine. FCA also agreed to federal oversight, which includes an independent monitor to oversee the company's recalls. The $70-million cash fine equals a penalty NHTSA levied on Honda in January. "Fiat Chrysler's pattern of poor performance put millions of its customers and the driving public at risk," NHTSA administrator Mark Rosekind said in a statement. "This action will provide relief to owners of defective vehicles, will help improve recall performance throughout the auto industry, and gives Fiat Chrysler the opportunity to embrace a proactive safety culture." FCA called the deal a "consensual resolution," but admitted that it "failed to timely provide an effective remedy" during certain recalls. "We are intent on rebuilding our relationship with NHTSA and we embrace the role of public safety advocate," the company said in a statement. The announcement kicked off a busy week for the automaker. NHTSA agreed FCA did not need to recall 4.7 million vehicles after an investigation failed to find defects with a power module used in some Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles. A Georgia judge also reduced a civil verdict involving a death in a Jeep Grand Cherokee crash. Amid all of that, the company reported net profit of about 333 million euros, or $364 million in the second quarter on Thursday. OTHER NEWS & NOTES FCA ramps up Hellcat production Despite a decidedly legal and financial week for FCA, there was still time for the performance side of the business to briefly grab the spotlight. The automaker is more than doubling its production of the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats in response to strong demand. The order bank opens the second week of August and production begins in September. FCA will finish up its scheduled 2015 model-year Hellcat builds, and cancel any "unscheduled" versions, though customers will get discounted pricing for 2016.
