The car starts but it doesn't move due to transmission failure. I owned this car for about a year and used it in a daily basis. In a 4 hour trip the transmission made a noise and it stopped moving. If you wish to fix/replace the transmission, the car will drive fine since it has no other major problem. If you wish to get parts out it, the engine is in good condition and the tires are also in extremely good condition. In addition, there are lights, engine, doors, windows, mirrors, brakes, exhaust, etc.
The car needs to be towed. And if you would like to see it in person, a time can be arranged. It still has a State registration and and the interior has been well taken cared of: no pets, kids, or smoking inside the car. Paypal or cash in person! Good luck! |

Chrysler recalling 280k Dodge Ram 1500 pickups over axle seizures
Fri, Dec 19 2014Following a June investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will be recalling 280,000 Dodge Ram pickups from model year 2005. The issue, NHTSA told The Detroit News, centered on a loose pinion nut, which could cause the rear axle to seize and, potentially, the driveshaft to detach. The affected vehicles were built between January of 2004 and August of 2005, while of the 280,000 trucks, only 257,000 were sold in the US market. According to The News, the recall will begin on February 13, and will see owners report to dealerships to have "a retention feature" added to the pinion nut.

Defiance Dodge Charger, saving Earth from aliens isn't clean work [w/video]
Fri, 08 Feb 2013You'll be forgiven for not having heard about the TV show Defiance - it actually hasn't aired its first episode yet. The new science fiction show about an alien war against Earth in the near future seems like a perfect fit for the SyFy channel, and, apparently one that Dodge saw as a slick marketing opportunity for its Charger sedan.
Here in Chicago, Dodge has given a large corner of its show stand to the Defiance Charger, a car that won't be skipped by any Mad Max fans in attendance at this year's show. The Charger boasts one hell of a gnarly patina under a confusingly welded cage of tube steel, as well as window bars, a grille guard in front, and big, knobby truck tires. There aren't any obvious guns or turrets on the outside of the vehicle, so we can only hope that the characters driving it go well-armed.
Look for the Charger to make its star turn in Defiance when the series premieres on SyFy on April 15 at 9:00 PM EST. Also, there's said to be a Defiance video game in the works, too, so you may get a chance to steer the burly Dodge for yourself. Find a trailer for the show, below, as well.
