Up for sale is this 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SE. This Grand Caravan is a ONE OWNER vehicle and has no accident history on the autocheck report. This car looks great inside and out and runs like a new minivan would. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water flood and its being sold with a Pennsylvania salvage title. I am not sure why the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. This minivan is in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should, and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons. There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done recently and its ready for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The vehicle was also just professionally detailed inside and out. The tires are in great shape and have about 80% tread remaining. They are all matching Nexen tires. This is a very well taken cared of car and it will last someone forever. This Minivan runs and drives like a new Grand Caravan would. You literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. This caravan also has the optional flexible fuel engine. So, it can run on regular gasoline or any alternative economical ethanol gas that you might want to use.
This Grand Caravan is loaded up with all the options. I has Stow N go dual sliding doors, third row seating, remote keyless entry, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, In-dash CD player with MP3 capabilities and Auxiliary outlet, ICE cold AC, Tire pressure monitoring sensors, luggage rack, rear hatch wiper, datime running lamps, and so much more.
The car comes with two original Dodge smart keys. We all the owners manuals and booklets, the Auxiliary audio wire, the unused spare tire, jack, and complete tool kit. This vehicle is ready for the winter, just jump in and drive.
The exterior of the car shows extremely well. The car is very clean with no major dents or scrathces worth mentioning. The paint looks to be in nice and it shines like glass. You can see your face in the paint. This is a ONE OWNER car with no accident history in the autocheck report. The only minor blemish is there is a few cracks on the lower part of the front bumper. It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the vehicle in any way. You can see this in my pictures. Besides that, there is nothing else to pick on. Its a really nice minivan for the money.
The interior of the car is like brand new. The seats are is fantastic condition and show no any wear at all. The carpets and other panels are all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%. This car looks and drives like a newer vehicle would, its that great!
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle has a title that is branded with flood status. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Matt and my number is 646-243-9866. Thanks and good luck bidding!

Dodge Durango poised for SRT's devilish power-up

Wed, Jan 11 2017

Does the world need a 707-horsepower Dodge Durango Hellcat? It looks like it's a possibility, according to recent spy shots of a suspicious test mule. But it could also be a Durango powered up with the FCA US 6.4-liter V8 that makes 475 hp. Spy shooters report that the mule captured here sounds like the Hellcat-powered Dodge Chargers and Challengers. Hidden design cues like the fascia suggest this Durango has truly devilish power. There's also a bulging hood with an air intake under the camouflage. So it could be a Durango Hellcat. It's also possible Dodge is dropping the 6.4-liter V8 used in the Grand Cherokee SRT under the hood of the Durango. Engine sharing makes sense, since both FCA SUVs are based on the same platform and built at the same factory in Michigan, though the Durango is longer to accommodate a third row. It is also more logical Dodge would add the 475-hp mill to the Durango's lineup first before going all the way to the 6.2-liter 707-hp Hellcat engine. The most powerful current Durango has a 360-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8. We expect the Durango will get a refresh for 2018. Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.

Chrysler recalling 700k minivans and Dodge Journey for ignition switch woes

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

General Motors isn't the only automaker with ignition switch problems. Chrysler is fighting it too and is now announcing a recall of 695,957 examples worldwide of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2008-2010 model years, plus the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey.
According to a statement from Chrysler, the models have a bad wireless ignition node detent ring in the ignition switch, making it possible for drivers to appear to have the key in the "Run" position but for the spring not to fully engage. It can then slip back to the "Accessory" position and shut the car off. If this happens, the vehicle loses power steering, brake boost and the airbags.
There is some disparity about the number of vehicles affected under this recall. In its statement, Chrysler claims that it covers 525,206 vehicles in the US, 102,892 in Canada, 25,591 in Mexico and 42,268 elsewhere. However, the recall announcement posted by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration lists an estimated 438,109 vehicles in the US. Chrysler spokesperson Nick Cappa told Autoblog via email that the reasoning for the different figures "will become clear at a later date."
