2006 Dodge Grand Caravan Se Mini Passenger Van 4-door 3.3l on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
This Grand Caravan is a super clean, well maintained two owner vehicle. My wife has owned the car when it was purchased at Carmax with 8000 miles on it. Clean CarFax, low mileage. My wife recently purchased a new mini-van so we are selling this one. This minivan has many options including an after-market DVD video player (a MUST for young children) and a trailer hitch, along with the wiring to run lights on a small trailer. We just replaced the battery after the pictures were taken, so it will have a two-year manufacturer warranty.
The carpet is in great condition, with the exception of a stain on the cargo area in the rear. This occurred while we were transporting pool chlorine and some spilled. It's in the cargo area so not really noticeable. We were told we could have it fixed for not very much money but didn't feel it was worth it since no one sees it. The paint is in overall good condition. There are light scratches on the passenger side sliding door and the hood. The hood also has a few small chips in the paint that could be touched up. But, again, not that noticeable. The passenger side corner of the bumper has been scrapped. This would need to be painted and is perhaps the most noticeable imperfection. Please see the pic for a better understanding. The passenger-side cargo door's power lock does not function. It has to be locked or unlocked manually. We were told the repair for this would be about $350.00. Mostly labor to remove the inside door panel. Seller may end this listing at any time as this vehicle is being listed elsewhere. No warranty is included with this sale. Vehicle is offered for sale as-is, where-is. Please ask any questions before placing a bid. We encourage all interested parties to come and test drive this minivan or have it checked out by your mechanic. Our mechanic will also be happy to answer questions. We have most service receipts and the original manual and paperwork. Buyer to pay $500.00 deposit by Paypal immediately upon the close of listing, please. Balance must be paid by cash or certified funds within 10 days or at the time of pick up, whichever comes first. Buyer is responsible for all taxes, tags, and title fees. Seller will assist buyer with shipping arrangements but all shipping, including costs, is the responsibility of the buyer. |

Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
Guy trying to sell Challenger Hellcat for $89,000 because VIN ends in '666'
Mon, Jul 27 2015The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is undoubtedly one of the baddest cars on the road today. With a 707-horsepower supercharged V8 snarling under the hood, the coupe can go down the road like a bat out of hell. There's not much that could make one of these muscle machines much more menacing, but a seller on Craigslist has one bizarre solution: offering a hellacious Hellcat with a VIN marking the Dodge as the beastly 666. What's the price for such unholy identification? That's a cool $89,000 – around $30,000 more than a brand new, less sacrilegious example. The seller claims that the Challenger's blasphemous number makes the vehicle "one of a kind," which is true only to the extent that VINs ending 665 and 667 would be similarly unique. The seller also says in the Craigslist ad, "This car is sure to become a collector's item and will only increase in value." There's no question that the Hellcat is a special machine, and the models just might be worth something decades into the future. Expecting that a future owner is going to care about the VIN seems pretty optimistic, though, unless this is either the first or last example, which it's not. To the credit of this superstitious seller, the Challenger appears completely untouched with all of the warning stickers, paperwork and even the plastic still covering the seats. So, the new owner is at least getting a practically untouched example. While we applaud audacity here, a roughly $30,000 premium for an unholy VIN seems a bit... devilish.
Who are Mike Manley, Louis Camilleri, and Suzanne Heywood?
Sun, Jul 22 2018MILAN – Fiat Chrysler aid on Saturday that boss Sergio Marchionne, 66, would not be returning to work because he was gravely ill. In addition to being FCA chief executive, Marchionne was also CEO and chairman of luxury sports car brand Ferrari and chairman of truck and tractor maker CNH Industrial, which were spun off from FCA in recent years. Following is a brief summary on the executives who have been appointed to replace him in the various roles: MIKE MANLEY The 54-year-old Briton picked to become the FCA's new CEO has been leading the group's top brand Jeep since 2009, first as Jeep President and CEO at Chrysler and then as FCA's Jeep head. In 2015 he was also appointed head of the Ram brand. Under his tenure, Jeep turned into a global brand becoming, together with Ram, FCA's profit engine. Jeep sold nearly 1.4 million cars last year compared with less than 338,000 in 2009. Manley had worked as DaimlerChrysler's head of network development in Britain since 2000, having earlier worked for several years in car dealership. At Chrysler, he headed product planning and all sales activities outside of North America and then became the group's chief operating officer for Asia and the lead executive for the international activities outside of NAFTA. LOUIS CAMILLERI The new Ferrari CEO was already a board member at the luxury sportscar maker before his latest appointment. He is also the chairman of Philip Morris International, where he also held the job of CEO from 2008 to 2013. Born in 1955, Camilleri had joined Altria Group, which controls Philip Morris, in 1978 holding various positions until he became chief financial officer in 1996 and then CEO in 2002. Camilleri was also chairman of Kraft Foods from 2002 to 2007. Malta's Prime Minister Joseph Muscat wished Camilleri luck on Twitter saying he was proud to have "a bit of Malta in Ferrari" thanks to the new CEO, who was born in Egypt to Maltese parents. SUZANNE HEYWOOD The new, British-born chairwoman of CNH Industrial has been since 2016 the managing director of EXOR, the holding company through which the Agnelli family controls FCA. Heywood, 49, started her career at the British Treasury and then joined McKinsey in 1997, leading for many years the consultancy firm's global service line on organization design. She eventually became a senior partner there. Heywood sits on the board of The Economist, which is controlled by EXOR, and the board of the Royal Opera House, where she is also deputy chair.
