This has been our only family car for months, and we could continue that way indefinitely (3 little kids). It runs great. It has no air conditioning because the evaporator coil leaks, but it has a brand new compressor (replaced so the serpentine belt would operate properly). It has had no significant mechanical failures in the years we have owned it other than the recent replacement of the compressor. We've done maintenance, replaced brakes, batteries, and tires here and there, but it has never overheated, has never failed to start unless the battery was run down, does not burn oil, does not leak anywhere except the evaporator coil, transmission and clutch shift and engage smoothly, gets average gas mileage for this model (about 18 in the city, a little better on the road), electrical systems work, no shuddering, wheel, structural, or alignment problems, has never been wrecked, and just runs great in general. Its old and has a lot of miles, but shows no signs of quitting any time soon. I regularly put over 100 miles on it in a day, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow if I had to. We recently upgraded to a car with air conditioning, but its a gamble to assume any other used car is in better mechanical condition than this one.
This model has two captain's chairs in the middle row, and a full bench back row, with three seat belts (and room for 3 car seats if necessary:-). This is the extended model with extra room behind the back row. If you see only one captain's chair in the middle row in any of the pictures, that is because we found it very convenient to keep one captain's chair out of the middle so adults and bigger kids could easily get in and out of the back row. The seat snaps in and out of the van pretty easily, and we just put it in and out as we needed it. The second captain's chair is fully functional, and comes with the van. The back bench seat, and the two captain's chairs are all fully removable, so this would work great as an enclosed truck or a delivery vehicle.
This is a base model without a lot of extras, but it does have a little screen that tracks gas mileage, miles to empty, direction, and time. It has a fully functioning CD player and radio. It has a factory DVD system hard wired into the radio, and I think it works, but we never used it. Cruise works great. Sliding doors are only designed to operate manually (but my 4 year old can get them open and closed by herself, so they're not too hard to work).
If necessary, we will sell it with a state safety inspection certificate. We will also provide the buyer with all paperwork to transfer title, but title transfer fees, sales tax, and related costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Ebay's $60 final value fee is included in the price, and will be absorbed by seller.
Kelley Blue Book Value for this vehicle, in fair condition, with 223,000 miles and the available options:

When Dodge released the Challenger Rallye Redline last year, it brought a new dimension of styling to the car's classic muscle car lines, but it was only available in V6 form lacking the oomph to back up its sinister appearance. To remedy that situation, Dodge is unveiling the Challenger R/T Redline, powered by a Hemi V8 engine, at the Chicago Auto Show.
Other than the extra cylinders, most of the R/T's Redline package carries over from the Rallye model including the custom-look 20-inch black chrome wheels with red paint accents, but the R/T version of the package gets more of a retro look to the side stripes with graphite graphics featuring Redline lettering. Cars equipped with the six-speed manual transmission will get a performance-tuned, low-restriction exhaust allowing the engine to produce 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque; cars with the five-speed auto are rated at 372 hp and 400 lb-ft, but they do offer a bright chrome Mopar t-handle shifter and steering wheel paddle shifters.
The R/T Redline Group is offered only on cars painted in Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Pitch Black, and it adds just $1,995 to the MSRP of the Challenger R/T (starting at $31,990) and the Challenger R/T Plus (starting at $33,990), which adds features like Nappa leather and Boston Acoustics speakers.

The fact that the Dart's launch has been a pretty dismal affair isn't what we'd call secret. Judging by its mounting inventories and poor critical reception, Dodge's successor to its unloved Caliber has struggled since it hit the market. And while both of those are difficult problems to address, at least their cause is well known - the powertrain.
Even Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has acknowledged that the powertrain options in the Dart are substandard, admitting at January's Detroit Auto Show that the powertrains are "less than ideal." Leading with the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder found in the Fiat 500 Abarth left a bad taste in the mouths of consumers thanks to the laggy engine and dead throttle response (to say nothing of the manual and dual-clutch gearboxes that needed more refinement). The addition of the 184-horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark in the Dart GT has helped matters some, but apparently Auburn Hills doesn't think it's quite enough.
If rumors are to be believed - get that salt ready - a possible solution may be in the works. A report from Allpar is claiming that Dodge is considering fitting a Pentastar V6 into the Dart's engine bay. As the Mopar-obsessed website points out, the critically acclaimed Pentastar is available in three different sizes - 3.0 liters, 3.2 liters and the original 3.6 liters. We don't get the 3.0 here in the US, but the 3.2 can be found in the new Jeep Cherokee and the 3.6 has been seemingly fitted to every model Chrysler can shoehorn it into.

Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.
