See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"A/C does not work, ABS system works fine but makes a noise when applying brakes, CD player does not work"

The good:  this has been our family van for the last 5 years. We are the second owner and got her from an elderly lady who only used the van occasionally. The only reason we are parting with her is because we inherited another car.  This vehicle is in good running condition.  We have replaced the tires, belts and hoses, brakes and changed oil every 3000 miles.  Pretty nice for a 17 year old vehicle.  Clean interior, exterior has some minor dings,(expected for the age of the car), no rust. With a nice strong 3.8 liter engine.  This van has many more miles ahead of her.

The bad:  A/C went out, and the ABS system makes a funny sound when applying the brakes. The brakes work perfectly fine, but just this annoying sound.  My mechanic said it is nothing to be worried about.  I will let the buyer address.  In addition there is an occasional random warning bell which goes off as you are driving (like when you haven't put on your seat belt or a door is open, but it's not.)  This seems to happen  more when it is cold outside.  I believe it is a matter of a loose wire, but again, will let the buyer handle this.  Also, the CD player doesn't work and the radio works, but doesn't adjust volume well.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is ready to serve and protect

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Okay speed freaks, it's time to update your cheat sheet of police headlights, as Dodge has just unveiled the new 2015 Charger sedan's police variant, the Pursuit.
Like previous Charger Pursuits, the 2015 model is based on a modified version of the civilian sedan, featuring the same basic batch of mechanicals and sheetmetal, while adding a number of items specific to the five-oh.
For 2015, cops can select from the same 3.6-ltier V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 available to the civilian population, with former turning out 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and the latter packing 370 ponies and 390 lb-ft. Even loaded down with equipment, Dodge claims the Hemi-powered cop car can hit 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, while both engines are expected return 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode). Rear-wheel drive is standard with both engines, while V8 Pursuits can be fitted with all-wheel drive.

Dodge to reveal Hellcat-powered Challenger in Detroit?

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

On top of all the other performance car debuts slated for next week's Detroit Auto Show, we might be able to add one more to the list - the new, supercharged Hellcat V8 from Chrysler. According to new reports, the rumored 640-horsepower mill is likely to cross the Motor City stage in the engine bay of a Dodge Challenger.
As AllPar points out, though, there may be more news than just the fire-breathing engine. While we've seen spy photos of the Hellcat testing under the hood of the current Challenger, there's a very fair chance that it won't arrive until the muscle car is refreshed later this year. The question now is whether that refresh will be shown off alongside the new engine in Detroit, or if it'll be saved, perhaps for the New York Auto Show.
Other details dug up by AllPar include potential transmissions for the supercharged engine - the Mopar-minded site is expecting an eight-speed automatic or a Tremec six-speed manual. Prices, meanwhile, could be in the same elevated range as the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, at $70,000 to $80,000.

Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet

Wed, Oct 7 2015

Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.
