You will not find anything under $10,000 like this. It looks brand new and drives really quiet and smooth until you need to merge on the highway and then it has a really nice rumble.  You will not need to fix anything on it. You will not need brakes or tires any time soon.  The mileage is 103,000. You will see 4 owners. 2 of the owners were dealers. I am selling this for 1 reason and 1 reason only. I drive 1000 miles per week and I have a bad back.  This seat is killing me.  If you don't drive that much you will not have this issue.  The gas mileage is actually quite impressive for all this tremendous power.  It gets 15 mpg in mixed driving and you can get 20 highway if you just cruise. This has the HEMI enigine which is 345 horsepower and 375 ft. lbs. of torque!  Both engine and transmission are perfect. The suspension was just checked and given a clean bill of health from a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge dealer. The only thing it needed was an exhaust gasket. PLEASE NOTE: This is a very important point.  Just about every Durango will need an exhaust gasket or manifold. It is very common as is the nightmare of broken bolts in the cylinder head which can become an enormous bill. My expert mechanic just replaced not only the gasket but the manifold and bolts as well.  That is a huge thing you don't need to worry about with mine.  You will not need to fix anything on this Durango. The only negative to speak of is a couple tiny spots of paint bubbles.  I had the same thing on my Grand Cherokee for more than 3 years. I simply kept it clean by washing it at least twice a month and waxing it in the summer. It never progresssed to a problem.  It is equipped with leather, dual power seats, heated seats, traction control, sunroof, Infinity Sound System with Sirius Satellite Radio, factory alarm, 3rd row seating, tow hitch, child seat anchors, power heated side view mirrors, rear air, automatic climate control and 17" factory chrome rims. I CAN ARRANGE SHIPPING BY A GREAT SHIPPER THAT I'VE USED TWICE! I am 100% confident you will be very happy with their service. I really don't think you'll find a nicer, better driving vehicle under $10,000. I have no problem allowing anyone to take this to a mechanic or dealer to get it checked out.  Price is negotiable. All reasonable offers considered.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat valet mode angers parking attendant

Thu, Mar 10 2016

I spent over three years as a valet. It was good money and an excellent second job when I was getting my start as a writer – ten hours per week at the small restaurant I worked for was good for anywhere from $150 to $250. Over those years, I can say with absolute confidence I never goofed off in someone's car. Unfortunately, not all valets are so trustworthy. Like these idiots. Apparently, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat owner captured the valets at Universal Studios in Florida on his dashcam messing about behind the wheel of his 707-horsepower muscle car. One valet is behind the wheel and there's another riding shotgun as they aimlessly wander about the parking lot, lamenting the fact that the owner (wisely) engaged valet mode before handing over the keys. "We can't do anything," they whine. The owner, for his part, seemed pretty cool about the whole thing, writing in the YouTube description that he purposely kicked up the exposure at the end of the video to hide the identities of the valets. He also added that they didn't do anything wrong – this former valet agrees to disagree, based on the over four minutes it takes to actually park the car – and that he was thankful for valet mode. You can check out the video above – be warned, though, there is some language in it. And remember, if you valet your car, use valet mode, check the odometer when you drop off and pick up, and if everything checks out, give the poor guys a tip. Want more recent Hellcat news? It's been a good week for 707-hp Mopars. Related Video:

Guy trying to sell Challenger Hellcat for $89,000 because VIN ends in '666'

Mon, Jul 27 2015

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is undoubtedly one of the baddest cars on the road today. With a 707-horsepower supercharged V8 snarling under the hood, the coupe can go down the road like a bat out of hell. There's not much that could make one of these muscle machines much more menacing, but a seller on Craigslist has one bizarre solution: offering a hellacious Hellcat with a VIN marking the Dodge as the beastly 666. What's the price for such unholy identification? That's a cool $89,000 – around $30,000 more than a brand new, less sacrilegious example. The seller claims that the Challenger's blasphemous number makes the vehicle "one of a kind," which is true only to the extent that VINs ending 665 and 667 would be similarly unique. The seller also says in the Craigslist ad, "This car is sure to become a collector's item and will only increase in value." There's no question that the Hellcat is a special machine, and the models just might be worth something decades into the future. Expecting that a future owner is going to care about the VIN seems pretty optimistic, though, unless this is either the first or last example, which it's not. To the credit of this superstitious seller, the Challenger appears completely untouched with all of the warning stickers, paperwork and even the plastic still covering the seats. So, the new owner is at least getting a practically untouched example. While we applaud audacity here, a roughly $30,000 premium for an unholy VIN seems a bit... devilish.

2013 Dodge Challenger V6 recalled for fire risk, owners asked not to drive

Sun, 17 Mar 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall for the V6 version of the 2013 Dodge Challenger (as pictured above in 2012MY) over the possibility of a wiring harness that could short circuit and lead to a fire. Owners of these V6 Challengers built from November 2012 through January 2013 are being urged to contact dealers immediately and, in the meantime, not to drive their cars or park in or near any buildings.
Chrysler estimates around 2,500 potentially affected Challengers are in owners' hands, while another 1,900 are still sitting on dealer lots. The total number of recalled vehicles is 4,459.
So far, Chrysler says that seven fires have been reported - none resulting in injuries. The company is instructing vehicle owners to contact their dealer to find out if their vehicle is included in the recall, but owners can also find the build date information of their vehicle by checking the label in the driver's door jamb.
