selling as found in a northern pennsylvannia barn where it sat for 30 years...yes, the 'little old lady car'....1960 dodge dart 2 drht....318 engine that rotates freely

automatic 2 speed pushbutton transmission....8 3/4 rear end - did not check to see if was a posi - if i do i will add to the listing tomorrow... all wheels are free

and roll nicely...i was told that it was driven into the barn and it just sat from then until a few years ago when i bought the car - have some paperwork, (THE LAST REGISTRATION FROM 1969)

but they lost the title ..the interior had seat covers - hand made - on the seats - you can see in the pics what the back seat looks like - may be able to stitch it back together - front = still covered

the headliner was cardboard in several pieces and it is long gone, but very simple...the side interior panels are in very decent condition the dash is complete except

for the radio although the knobs are there for it?!...glove box is in good shape and has many small parts for the car in it....looks like the master cyl and main brake line were replaced and

still look in clean shape - no brake fluid= no brakes on the car...the key was lost so i bought a new ign switch/keys that will go with the car...it currently is sitting on 4 chrome wheels

with decent tires on them as the old ones were junk....comes with 4 original hubcaps and the original air cleaner....the holes you see in the scans were covered up with

fiberglass cloth and resin - pretty good job for years ago - i tore most of the patches off to see how bad the rust was as you can see....i got some patch panels off a junkyard car

for parts of the front fenders and hood....i was going to re-radius the rear wells, but did not cut anything - also have an nos headlight socket for 1 side...the headlight trim is in the trunk as

is most of the other trim for the car....the car is pretty complete as found, but may be missing some small parts....

....the floors are actually pretty rust free as is the trunk area - surface rust...underneath is surface rusty but solid - usually the crossmember where the torsion bars attach is rusted, but this

one is very solid.....a rare car and begging for a builder...i was going to use it for my hemi donor car, but i have gone a different way and did not want to chop this car up

it is offered on a 3 day auction, or buy it now.....i need to have it paid for by next week and preferrably picked up fast as we will not be available after next week..

.if you buy, we could store it until the end of april or possibly make other pickup arrangements after the sale goes thru with one of my kids

.....any questions, please email - if you want a RARE MOPAR , THIS IS IT!....located in binghamton ny

2013-14 Dodge Viper recalled over faulty door handles

Fri, Apr 10 2015

The 2013-14 Dodge Viper is getting a voluntary recall affecting 1,762 cars worldwide to replace their door-handle assemblies. Of the affected vehicles, FCA US reports there are 1,451 in the US, 160 in Canada, 17 in Mexico and 59 of them outside of NAFTA. After receiving three reports of doors either not closing or opening while driving a low speeds, FCA US engineers found a new sealant from a supplier didn't provide sufficient moisture protection to the electronic switches for the door latches. If the parts get wet, this can potentially cause a short circuit. The automaker is quite clear that are no reports of accidents of injuries from this problem. As always, the recall repairs will be done at no cost to owners, and FCA US will be getting in touch with customers soon about the problem. Related Video: Statement: Door-handle Assemblies April 9, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is voluntarily recalling an estimated 1,762 cars globally to replace their door-handle assemblies. FCA US launched an investigation after the Company received three warranty claims linked to doors that failed to close or opened inadvertently while vehicles were moving at low speed. The Company is unaware of any related injuries or accidents. Engineers determined a sealant, newly adopted by a supplier, provided inconsistent moisture protection to the electronic switches that control the door latches. Switches exposed to moisture may short-circuit. Affected are approximately 1,451 model-year 2013-14 Dodge Viper SRT cars in the U.S.; 160 in Canada; 17 in Mexico and 59 outside the NAFTA region. Affected customers will be notified and advised when they may schedule service, which will be performed at no cost. Customers with questions may call the FCA US Customer Information Center at 1-800-853-1403.

GTC deliveries take Rauh collection up to 79 Vipers [w/video]

Mon, Jul 27 2015

How many Vipers is enough? One of the ten-cylinder supercars might be too much machine for most drivers to handle, but not for Wayne and D'Ann Rauh. The Texas couple already own 77 of Dodge's flagship model. And now they've taken delivery of two more. At the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit on Friday, the Rauhs received the keys to a pair of Dodge Viper GTCs, customized through the automaker's "1 of 1" customization program. The program allows owners to spec their Viper just the way they want it, with 50 million unique combinations. For their 78th and 79th additions, the Rauhs ordered one decked out in brown with black stripes for Wayne, the other in purple with white for D'Ann, to whom the majority of the collection belongs. Of course, both come equipped with an 8.4-liter V10 driving 645 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The couple will add the pair to their collection in Arp, TX, a town on the outskirts of Tyler, located between Dallas and Shreveport. The Rauh's garage already includes the last of the previous-generation Vipers decked out in two-tone gold finish. eGarage profiled the couple two years ago when their collection numbered "only" 65, and we have no doubt that number will only continue to grow as long as Dodge keeps building the legendary super-snake. Texas Dodge Viper Enthusiasts Receive Keys to Two New Customized '1 of 1' Dodge Viper GTC Models, Now Owners of 79 Vipers Total July 24, 2015 , Detroit - Dodge Viper owners Wayne and D'Ann Rauh elevate Viper Nation enthusiasm to a whole new level. On Friday, July 24, the couple visited the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit to receive keys to not one, but two new customized "1 of 1" Dodge Viper GTC models, making them proud owners of a total of 79 Dodge Vipers. Through the new Viper "1 of 1" customization program, owners can create their very own one-of-a-kind Snake. No two customers can order the same configuration, including color, in the same model year. With the introduction of matte-finish exterior paint, the 2016 Viper is now offered in more than 50 million unique build configurations, made up from the more than 16,000 unique paint color options and more than 48,000 unique stripe combinations.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/videos]

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Darrell Waltrip once said, "If the lion didn't bite the tamer every once in a while, it wouldn't be exciting." The sentiment behind that aphorism is causing my adrenal gland to wake up as Dodge and SRT drivers and engineers - somber-faced to a man - give me the track talk that will precede my driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT on the circuit at Portland International Raceway. PIR might not be Daytona, and the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat might seem tame to a legend like ol' Jaws, but there's a not-small part of me that's thinking about how hard Dodge's fire-breathing kitty might bite.
Just a few hours previous, I'd gotten behind the wheel of the Hellcat for the first time, letting its hyperbole-spitting, supercharged V8 Hemi pull me yieldingly through Portland's morning commuter traffic. Lulled into a cocky certainty by the Challenger's good manners at low speed, I drove the throttle just a hair too deep, too fast when I ran on to the highway ramp. For just an instant the rear tires were utterly drenched in torque, and the back end of the big Dodge loosened up like a drift car on a wet track. Throttle steer lives at the fleeting whim of your right foot in this car.
It was no big thing to lay off the gas and pull the Hellcat back in line as I entered the highway, but the incident did get me to thinking: What will this car do to me on a road course?
