I am Selling My 1974 Dodge Dart Sport. I was building this car for drag / bracket racing.
Excellent candidate for big block conversion or NHRA stock/ super stock build. The latter was my original intent. This vehicle was purchased in Califonia and shipped to the northeast. Body is extremely solid. No rust or rot ever. I started to work on the engine bay, door dings and dents and that's where i stopped working on the car due to personal reasons. I am not a body man. Features: No Motor or Transmission Built new sure grip 8 3/4 center section with 4.33:1 gears and new large bolt pattern axles New Super stock leaf springs Solid body, no rot or rust Driveshaft loop Custom fabricated welded NHRA legal chrome moly 6 point rollbar Professionally fabricated through the floor fully welded frame connectors. Factory untouched wheel wells - no tubs Front Disc Brakes 6 cyl k-frame but comes with small block conversion motor mounts 5 gal aluminum fuel cell Remote trunk mount battery with kill switch and wiring Factory bench seat (NHRA stock required) Heater box removed Though body is solid, there are lots of door dings. This car spent most of its life parked in a garage where it picked up alot of dings. Perfect glass Chrome is in very good shape but not perfect Dented front passenger fender No title Rear wheels and tires not included! Please study pictures and ask questions. Dodge Vipers selling for $480k in China
Wed, Apr 29 2015Want to get your hands on a new Dodge Viper? Be prepared to pay dearly. It starts at nearly $90k here in the US, but that's nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for one if you lived in, say, China. CarsNewsChina.com reports on one Viper available in Beijing for an eye-watering 298 million yuan – equivalent to about $480,000 at today's exchange rates and representing more than a 500-percent markup. Part of that premium comes down to the Chinese tax code that charges a reported 60 percent for anything with an engine displacing over four liters. And the Viper's, we needn't remind you, is more than twice that. It naturally costs some to import a car to China as well, but most of the rest is pure profit. The Beijing dealership reportedly gets the cars from dealers in California, has already sold three and plans to import several more. The dealer can also get you (or wealthy Chinese individuals) a Corvette Stingray for a comparatively cheap 1.73 million yuan (or $280k). Related Video:

Mon, 15 Sep 2014The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn
Fri, Mar 27 2015We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
