1967 Dodge Dart 270 Coupe 2-door 4.5l on 2040-cars
Rocklin, California, United States
This car is very rough and needs a complete restoration but is mostly all there. Also could be used as a parts car or clone it into what you want. This is a 270 model 273 two barrel, bench seat, column automatic, power steering, manual brakes and factory A/C (the compressor and lines are missing). This car was factory red with white top and interior. It has some rust in the fenders, right rear quarter panel and drivers floor board. The car also appears it was hit on the passenger front end and has some visible damage done to the passenger side core support inner fender and right front end of the frame rail. All the sheet metal lines up fine. Repairs were done but still a little visible. Rocker panels have some dents and damage, as well as, the left front fender. It has some other minor dents and dings here and there. I have no keys. It comes with clear Nevada title, owners manual, VIN plate and fender data plate intact. This car may run after some fresh gas and a tune-up. I haven’t had anytime to check it out or work on it and not guaranteeing it will run. Has all trim and glass, the front grille and headlamp bezels are in excellent condition. I’m being as honest as I can be about the condition of this car, it will need everything redone or restored. Please look closely at the pictures. If you have any questions please ask before bidding. This car is located in Rescue, CA, close to Sacramento, CA. Car is being sold AS-IS with a low reserve.
Thank you

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football
Fri, 16 May 2014The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
Watch a Dodge Viper driver show off his V10 all the way into a wall
Mon, Apr 11 2016Has there ever been a show-off video that doesn't end terribly? This video clip captured with a cellphone shows the driver of a neon green Viper GTS giving a fellow motorist a couple throttle blips to signify his intent – which seems to be to crash the Viper into a concrete wall as quickly as possible. It's not pretty. The mean machine seems to be a second-generation Viper GTS in Stryker Green. To our knowledge, no photos have surfaced of the aftermath, so we wish both the driver and their most-likely bruised ego a speedy recovery. Who knows, maybe the Viper is also salvageable.
Chrysler extends fuel tank warranties on LX cars, NHTSA ends probe
Tue, 18 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ended its investigation of 153,817, 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter Hemi V8-powered 2006 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum models after reports of stalling. Chrysler has responded by granting a lifetime warranty on the fuel tanks for these vehicles.
NHTSA received 299 reports of engines stalling while the models were stopped or driving at low speeds, and began an investigation. The government agency found that the control valve shutoff float in the V8s' 19-gallon fuel tank could malfunction if the fuel had too high of an ethanol content. In many cases, the valve would break in the open position, allowing the tank to be overfilled, which would then cause the cars to stall. However, there were no accidents reported, and the vehicles could be restarted immediately.
There will not be a recall on these vehicles because, "the condition represents a low risk to motor vehicle safety and is adequately addressed by Chrysler's extended warranty," NHTSA said to The Detroit News.
