I am the third owner of this Dakota and have had many great adventures with it. I am sad to see it go, but I have recently moved from rural Kentucky and into the city of Denver. Understandably, I need to find something smaller or more functional to the surroundings. The transmission did recently go out but I had it replaced with a certified low mileage transmission. The work was performed by Accurate Transmission in Aurora, CO. I have tested this out by using this vehicle to drive to work over the past few weeks along with a couple outings to the mountains and it shifts like new. While doing the swap, both filters, the pan, and gasket were replaced. I have all paperwork to back this up.

The exterior shows very little rust but the clear-coat is pealing - this is typical of Dodge's of this year. A tool box and bed liner are included though the key has been lost for the toolbox so it currently cannot be locked. The side-step/nerf bars need to go and can be removed at the buyer's request before the truck is picked up.

The interior is in great condition other than the headliner, which is currently being held up by pins - this is also typical of Dodge's of this year with cloth headliners. I have installed a Sony CD/MP/Pandora receiver and Pioneer speakers which sounds great. All of which was purchased through Crutchfield.

The Engine runs great and features a Flow-master exhaust and short-ram air intake which was installed by the previous owners. Along with the 4.7 liter V-8 engine, it sounds great in person. I get asked all the time what work I have had done to it.

The title for this vehicle is clear, it has never been in an accident, and it is ready for the next happy owner to put many more miles on it.

MotorWeek remembers a better time for Mitsubishi performance

Dodge still knows how to create an capable performance car – look at the Hellcats, for example Â– but the same isn't true for Mitsubishi. With the Lancer Evo's demise, we don't expect driving enthusiasts to clamor for any of the Japanese automaker's other products. Things used to be different, though. As MotorWeek found in its new Retro Review, the 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and its sibling, the Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo, were impressive sports coupes in their day. Dodge and Mitsubishi packed a bevy of cutting-edge tech into the coupes. In these trims, both sported all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, an adjustable suspension, active exhaust, and automatic climate control. The 3000GT VR4 upped the ante even more with active aero parts at the front and rear. Their 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 was good for 300 horsepower and 307 pound-feet, which were good numbers at the time. This pair put all their gizmos to good use, too. MotorWeek compares the all-wheel-drive system's grip levels to a Porsche 911 Carrera 4. When was the last time you heard any favorable similarity between a Mitsubishi and a Porsche? The Stealth R/T Turbo and 3000GT VR4 came from a special time for Japanese sports coupes, when every brand had a halo model. Whether you were looking at Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, Toyota Supra, or even the Acura NSX, there was a lot to like on the market. MotorWeek's latest Retro Review offers a great reminder of that period.

The Dodge Demon is coming, an evil mutation of the Challenger SRT Hellcat

If there's one thing we'll take more of, it's Hellcat. Dodge's 707-horsepower supercharged V8 is a shining star of muscle car ideals. A panacea to the cylinder-count and displacement atrophy. And according to Dodge's new website, www.ifyouknowyouknow.com, a even crazier version of the Challenger SRT Hellcat is on the way. It's called the Dodge Demon. The website features a series of videos that reveal more and more details of the upcoming car. As of this writing, only the first teaser is available, title cage (and also seen above). The final video, and full reveal, of the car, coincides with the dates for the 2017 New York Auto Show. Details are scant at this point. The video, and the press release statement from FCA passenger car chief Tim Kuniskis, point to quarter-mile performance as the Demon's sole purpose in life. Said Kuniskis, "The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is conceived, designed and engineered for a subculture of enthusiasts who know that a tenth is a car and a half second is your reputation." Chrysler recalling over 280k minivans because airbags may deploy on wrong side

Chrysler has issued a recall for some 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram C/V Tradesman vans built between May 10, 2012 and June 7, 2013. These vehicles may have a software error that would cause the wrong side (opposite side) airbags to deploy in a crash. With this defect, a left-side impact would cause the right-side airbag to deploy, etc.
The recall affects 281,500 vehicles in total: 224k in the US, 49,300 in Canada, 2,900 in Mexico and 5,300 in other locations. Chrysler will notify owners of effected vehicles, and reflash the offending occupant restraint control module to resolve the issue.
