Hello Everyone!  You are looking at a beautiful and extremely rare truck.  I had to look for one of these for a very long time.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to devote any time towards making it my dream truck, with the exception of the wheels and tires.  I purchased the wheels off eBay, and the tires are brand new (less than 500 miles on them).  The truck is in great condition.  The previous and original owner took excellent care of it (evidenced by the engine bay and interior).  When I purchased it, it had the transmission issue.  I've put about 1500 miles on it, including an 800 mile round trip across the Midwest.  The transmission makes noise when the clutch is out, and in every gear with the exception of fourth.  Some gears are worse than others.  My point is this: I felt comfortable driving it a considerable distance.

Here are some pros:
-Extremely hard to find: V-8, 5-SPD manual transmission, 2WD, Regular Cab.
-Extremely clean engine bay
-Fresh oil change at 112,000
-New 255/55/17 tires (less than 500 miles)
-Interior is in excellent condition, with the exception of stains on the rear portion (close to seat) of the carpet
-Engine runs great!  These 318 ci/ 5.2L V8s are known for their longevity.  The previous and original owner took excellent care of this vehicle.
-Averaged 19 MPG on 800 mile road trip (this is really good considering  3.9 axle ratio)
-Limited Slip rear diff
-9.25" Chrysler rear end
-Nice throaty rumble from an aftermarket Borla cat-back exhaust (sounds really burblely when throttle is closed and slowing down!!)
-Has a really nice cover that latches in and rolls up easily.

Cons:
-Some light rust over rear wheel (visible in picture)
-Small indentations on hood (not visible in pictures)
-Transmission is making noise (not a clutch issue)

In closing, I know this beautiful truck will find a great home.  If you're interested and want to know more, message me.  I tried to make a video of the noise, and it was not audible over the exhaust.

Vehicle is sold AS-IS.  I have made the utmost attempt to describe the vehicle in detail.

Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.

Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017

Tue, Feb 17 2015

Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
