This is a 1997 Dodge Dakota SLT with around 180,000 miles.  It has a 5.3 liter V-8 Magnum engine.  It is black in color except the driver door that is green.  It was replaced when my brother's foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator and he drove through the garage door opening with the door open.  The door was bent backwards and had to be replaced.  This truck runs and drives great.  The interior is nice except for the screw came out of the ceiling console and it sags down.  He has not fixed it.  Lazy!  Just kidding.  He takes care of our grandfather and has his hands pretty full.
The exterior of the truck is solid but the paint on the hood is faded in spots and the driver's door is different as mentioned before.
The main problem is electrical.  After the door was replaced the electric windows and the blinkers don't work.  The electric door locks and brake lights work so we don't know what the issue is.  The main problem with the truck is that when you turn it off, the dash light behind the blinkers icon stays on and eventually runs the battery down.  Hopefully for someone with some electrical experience this is an easy fix.  ALL of the electrical issues started when the door was changed.  Maybe there is something wrong with this door.
There is a pioneer stereo system and a 10 disk CD changer behind the seat.  This is a powerful truck and sounds cool.  He has a clear title and is ready to sell.  My husband just died and my brother wants to buy his Chevy Tracker so he needs the money from this truck sale.
Please e-mail with any questions or come see the truck in person.  He can show the truck after 5pm or by appointment with some notice.  We live in Cullman, AL.  Thanks for looking.  If you call you can leave a message, it is my home phone and I work as well.  Sale will be completed in person with cash in hand.  Buyer is responsible for shipping.

Stellantis expects strike to cost it $795 million in third-quarter profits

Tue, Oct 31 2023

MILAN — Automaker Stellantis said Tuesday that the autoworkers strike in North America is expected to cost the company around 750 million euros ($795 million) in profits — less than its North American competitors. The Europe-based maker of Jeep, Fiat and Peugeot reported a 7% boost in net revenues to 45.1 billion euros, with production halts caused by the strikes costing the company 3 billion euros in sales through October. The net revenue boost was due to higher volumes in all markets except Asia. Chief Financial Officer Natalie Knight told journalists that StellantisÂ’ strike impact was lower than the other Big Three automakers due to its global profile as well as some high-profile cost-cutting measures, calculating the hit at around 750 million euros ($795 million.) GM, the last carmaker to reach a deal to end the strike, reported an $800 million strike hit. Ford has put its impact at $1.3 billion. “We continue to be in a very strong position globally and in the U.S. This is an important market for us, and weÂ’re highly profitable and we are very committed to our future," Knight said. “But mitigation is core to how we act, and how we proceed.” Stellantis has canceled appearances at the CES technology show in Las Vegas next year as well as the LA Auto Show, due to the strike impact. Stellantis on Saturday reached a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers Union to end a six-week strike by more than 14,000 workers at its assembly plants in Michigan and Ohio, and at parts warehouses across the nation. Stellantis does not report full earnings for the third quarter, instead providing shipments and revenues. It said that global sales of electric vehicles rose by 37% over a year earlier, powered by the Jeep Avenger and commercial vehicle sales. North America continued to be the revenue leader, contributing 21.5 billion euros, an increase of 2% over last year, and representing nearly half of global revenues. Europe, the next biggest performing region, saw revenues grow 5% to 14 billion euros, as sales rose 11%. Dodge Challenger Hellcat valet mode angers parking attendant

Thu, Mar 10 2016

I spent over three years as a valet. It was good money and an excellent second job when I was getting my start as a writer – ten hours per week at the small restaurant I worked for was good for anywhere from $150 to $250. Over those years, I can say with absolute confidence I never goofed off in someone's car. Unfortunately, not all valets are so trustworthy. Like these idiots. Apparently, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat owner captured the valets at Universal Studios in Florida on his dashcam messing about behind the wheel of his 707-horsepower muscle car. One valet is behind the wheel and there's another riding shotgun as they aimlessly wander about the parking lot, lamenting the fact that the owner (wisely) engaged valet mode before handing over the keys. "We can't do anything," they whine. The owner, for his part, seemed pretty cool about the whole thing, writing in the YouTube description that he purposely kicked up the exposure at the end of the video to hide the identities of the valets. He also added that they didn't do anything wrong – this former valet agrees to disagree, based on the over four minutes it takes to actually park the car – and that he was thankful for valet mode. You can check out the video above – be warned, though, there is some language in it. And remember, if you valet your car, use valet mode, check the odometer when you drop off and pick up, and if everything checks out, give the poor guys a tip. Want more recent Hellcat news?
