FULLY CUSTOM DAKOTA! This is a one owner truck that was bought new from our dealership. It only has 14k miles! The list of mod's include: *Air Bag Suspension (no compressor) *Ford 9'' Rear End *Transmission Oil Cooler With Manual Switch * Full Roll Cage *Custom Cowl Hood *Billet Specialties 17'' Wheels (335/35 Rear, 215/50 Front) * Tonneau Cover & Tailgate open with a switch inside the cab. *Shaved Door Handles & Tailgate Handle, Tailights, & Fuel Door. *Custom headers, Cam, and Throttle Body. This Dakota still has the original 318 V8. This was an original 5 speed manual truck, but it has been switched to a 3 Speed with reverse manual valve body and has Redline clutches. This Dakota still has heat & A/C. Custom painted by Bewleys Body Works in Indianapolis in early 2000/2001. The truck is 90% complete except for still needing the radio wired, speakers installed, and a few other minor things. The truck does have tailights and turn signals in the rear. They are hidden behind the paint and actually shine through the paint. The seats are aftermarket bucket seats, but that have been recovered in factory color correct cloth. The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am
Fri, 15 Aug 2014NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.

We can't be sure if the inspiration for the Crossroad appellation was the 2002 blockbuster film, Crossroads, starring Britney Spears, or the 1986 cult-classic, Crossroads, starring Ralph Macchio, but based on the CUV's newfound boyish charm, we're betting on the Karate Kid.
Dark finish 19-inch wheels, platinum chrome accents and a manly new front fascia tell the world that this isn't the Dodge Journey that they've long since forgotten about. In fairness, the Crossroad is easily the best-looking iteration of the Journey to date, and should be better to live with, too, considering its revised cabin, leather seats and standard Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system.
