1969 DODGE CORONET  STATION WAGON 318 AUTO
Car has been sitting in the California High Desert for 20 years or more. The car did have California license plates but has not been registered all that time. Comes with a Bill Of Sale. The brakes do not work and the car will need to be trailered away from it's location in Escondido California. The car has very little rust but does have a small spot on the lower inside of rear tail gate. Rear window does not roll up but did go down when jumped with a wire connection from a good battery. As you can see from the pictures it's needs a left front  fender. Car starts and goes into forward and reverse but once again The car has no brakes from sitting so long. Car has power steering but the steering gear leaks a bit. The car is a bit dirty and rough but could be put back on the road without too much investment. It has 14 inch steel wheels with good tires.

Rear Tail gate opens as a door or a gate.
Rear end is an open 8 3/4 with 2:76 to 1 gears
Transmission is a 904 Automatic
Engine 2bbl 318
Car may be numbers matching
Left rear window does not roll up but does have glass inside complete.
Air Conditioning does not work / Amp Gauge does not work / Gas Gauge does not work
CAR HAS CORRECT IGNITION SWITCH FOR 1969 AND TWO NEW KEYS
DOES NOT HAVE DOOR KEYS
The seats were taken out to clean the floor. They will be put back in. The car has nice B-Body Front Seat Tracks and they sell here on Ebay for $100 to $140 just for these seat tracks alone. Ignition switch and keys sell for $70 to $100 just for that part alone.
The Right Fender needs a little love but very usable. The Right Fender would sell for $300 to $400 as they don't make them anymore.
The Left fender could be saved by a good body guy and does not have any rust. Heat it and Pull it out.
26 inch radiator and fan shroud
All the outside light work. The front turn signal lens were replace with nice clear lens and work. The headlights, high beams, and brake lights all work

COULD BE YOUR SUPER BEE PARTS CAR

Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.

Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.

Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.
