1969 Dodge Coronet 440 Wagon Super Bee 383/4-speed on 2040-cars
Ocala, Florida, United States
MOPAR Dodge PLYMOUTH Coronet Belvedere Satellite This is a 69 Dodge Coronet 440 station wagon. I was building this car to keep, but plans have changed. All of the pictures were taken within the last 2 weeks. All of these parts were bought within the last 2 years and have approximately 4,800 miles on them. I have listed most of the stuff I purchased for the car, but it does not include paint, fluids, wheels and tires, original purchase price, etc. This is a no BS auction. I started the auction well below what I want for the car with no reserve, so please don't email me with lesser offers. I am only listing it in this condition once. A $200 deposit is required in 72 hrs. The balance should be paid by February 22, 2014. The car should be picked up by March 2, 2014. Any other arrangements must be worked out prior to the auction's end. DRIVETRAIN
& SUSPENSION: TOTAL- $12,875 MOVING SALE!! I have a LOT of MOPAR parts I will be listing. I am tired of living across the street from a thieving, alcoholic, child predator who has friends with the Ocala Police Department protecting him and a State Attorney that's as useful as a one-legged cat trying to dig a hole in a frozen pond. Time to lighten my load and get the heck out of here. |

Is Mopar readying a special-edition Dart for Chicago?
Sat, 26 Jan 2013Chrysler has released the above teaser of a limited-edition Mopar 2013 model that will be unveiled at next month's Chicago Auto Show. Although the automaker doesn't announce what vehicle will get the Mopar treatment, closer investigation of the seats and center console suggest that this car will be a special version of the 2013 Dodge Dart.
This will be the fourth Mopar model in as many years, following on the heels of the Mopar 2010 Challenger, Mopar 2011 Charger and the Mopar '2012 300. There are no details for the Mopar '13 Dart, but we do see that the car will retain the signature black-and-blue color scheme as past Mopar editions. Like these previous models, we expect production of Mopar '13 Dart to be limited to just 500 units.
Scroll down for Chrysler's press release teasing the new Mopar model, and we'll be sure to bring you plenty of live images from the show floor in a couple weeks.
Takata air bag recall list
Tue, Dec 9 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration confirmed yesterday that 33.8 million vehicles with Takata airbags are going to be recalled. It's the largest recall in automotive history. The already record-breaking rate of automotive recalls this year shows no signs of slowing down, especially since millions of cars with defective airbags made by global supplier Takata are under ongoing scrutiny. The federal government is warning owners that inflator mechanisms in the air bags can rupture, causing metal fragments to fly out when the bags are deployed. The faulty air bags have already been blamed for multiple deaths. How do you know if your vehicle is safe? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released an updated list of vehicles under recall. Sometimes however, the government's website will crash and the list may not be complete. Check your VIN at the NHTSA website to make sure. The list of cars affected by the recall has not been released, but seem to span multiple models over the years for many of the automakers.
Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper
Fri, 08 Feb 2013It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.
