Here is 1967 dodge cornet 500, a perfect car for anyone who wants to just cruise around town or someone who wants a hotrod! I have owned this car for a while now and have enjoyed the heck out of it! I always get looks in it no matter where i go! and people love to stop and talk to me about it! One of the most wonderful things about this car is that it gets awesome gas milage!!! Perfect for someone wanting to cruise around and not have to fuel up at every gas station! All around this is a great car, especially for it being nearly all original! I dont know a whole lot about the vehicles history except the previous owner did not drive it much and was mostly parked in a shop. The car was originally bought in ogden utah brand new (i have the original window sticker). As I said the car is pretty much original but here is a bit of what she has to offer!!! She has 383 big block that runs very strong with a four barrel carburetor, originally was a two barrel but previous owner installed a four barrel aluminum intake. The transmission is a 727 torque flight that shifts smooth like it should. The car has dual exhaust (Nice Timid Sound), factory AC with power steering but no power brakes, automatic on the column, has bucket seats W/the buddy center seat. The interior is blue and in amazing condition! Interior has new headliner and an aftermarket stereo under the dash. The exterior is blue with a black vinyl top. I have original factory window sticker which shows all of the factory options. Has newer tires and wheels. Overall the car has very little rust if any, bumpers in decent shape. With a new paint job this car would be a nice show car or cruiser, I have had a lot of fun driving this car to car shows or just cruising to the store or coffee shop and answering peoples questions like when the ask me what year is your car? Is it a big block or small block? I Just all around enjoyed meeting all kinds of wonderful people old and young. I will miss her but it’s time to move on and let someone else enjoy this car and take it to the next level it deserves! Thanks for looking and Good luck bidding everyone!!! If any questions please contact me at 208-573-2773 You can contact me through email as well but will be a little slower getting back to you vs phone.

Dodge Challenger spied exercising supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8
Wed, 23 Oct 2013One of the prime complaints against the Dodge Challenger is that, even in SRT8 guise, its 470 horsepower is responsible for hauling over 4,200 pounds of vehicle. For comparison, the 420 hp in the Ford Mustang GT only has to deal with 3,618 lbs. Things only get worse from there, as the higher-performance variants of both the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro are far more powerful than an SRT8 without adding on much heft.
So what is Chrysler to do? The correct answer is add a whole lot more grunt to its hefty two-door and even the odds. That's where the all-new Hellcat engine comes into play. We reported on this engine in May, and suggested that the Hellcat, a supercharged powerplant based on a 6.4-liter V8, would easily generate 500 to 570 hp and could likely arrive boasting more than 600 ponies.
Chrysler's ace in its sleeve has now been spied testing, with a number of Hellcat-equipped Challengers running the potent new engine both in more urbanized areas and under the sun of Death Valley. The hoods on these testers have been raised to accommodate the engine, and that camouflage over the fascias of these prototypes is there to hide a larger air intake. We also note what appears to be a new split grille under wraps. As for power output, our spies are now suggesting a Viper-equalling 640 hp from the Hellcat-equipped cars.
Dodge recalling 2k SRT Hellcat Challengers and Chargers for fuel leak
Tue, Mar 3 2015Bad news for fans of the obscene output of the Dodge Hellcat twins, as FCA has announced a voluntary recall of both 707-horsepower variants of the 2015-model-year Charger sedan and Challenger coupe. According to FCA, a total of 2,211 cars are being recalled after a dealer discovered a "possible fuel leak" during a pre-delivery inspection. Despite getting cleared by suppliers, FCA claims its engineers found "improperly installed" hose seals. Owners of affected vehicles will receive notification and be asked to report in for repairs. Of the vehicles affected, the overwhelming majority, 2,012, were sold in the US market. The remainder were sold in Canada (148), Mexico (30) and just 21 outside of North America. Scroll down for the official release from FCA. Related Video: Statement: Hose Seals March 1, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is voluntarily recalling an estimated 2,211 cars globally to replace fuel-delivery components that may leak. An FCA US dealer alerted the Company to a possible fuel leak following a pre-delivery vehicle inspection. These components had passed the supplier's leak-testing, but FCA US engineers launched an investigation and discovered certain hose seals may have been improperly installed. The Company is unaware of any related injuries, accidents or customer complaints. Affected are model-year 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT coupes and Dodge Charger SRT sedans equipped with 6.2-liter V-8 engines. There are an estimated 2,012 in the U.S.; 148 in Canada; 30 in Mexico and 21 outside the NAFTA region. Affected customers will be notified and advised when they may schedule service.
