Selling my 67 Dodge Coronet 500.   Bought this from a friend as it was his fathers pride and joy. When his father passed, he needed to sell it and I knew I would enjoy the car and I have.  Now it is time for a new home.  This car is in great shape for a 47 year old car!  It has new paint (2 years old) and a very expensive New Interior. The Numbers Matching (I was told, I did not verify) Big Block 383 runs great and accelerates quickly and shifts smooth as you rocket away ! The exhaust has a slight rumble to it, as all Muscle Cars should, but it is not annoyingly loud.   I have repaired a few items that needed attention , which included the windshield wiper motor, blower fan and front turn signals.  There are a few things that still need attention. The fuel and temp. gauges do not function (I did not look into why) There is a vibration coming from the right front wheel, my feeling is the balance is off or wheel has a slight wobble.
All in all , this is a good solid car Oregon car at a great price. If someone wants to put a little time and effort in, it could be a great car ! All the hard stuff (Paint,Interior,Motor) is done. A fine car for a New Owner.  Check my Feedback and Bid !

Also a few things I forgot in the original description...  Some things I think will improve the car are New Shocks, and probably a battery coming up. The car has the vibration at about 50 mph.  Also the original steering wheel comes with the car as well as power brake master cylinder and peddle. However, I think the standard Disc brakes do a great job and no need to change.  I like the feel of the new modern steering wheel.

Marchionne on Alfa's US return, Dodge Dart's powertrain weakness and minivan plans

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

As a reporter covering an auto show, the one opportunity you never want to miss is going to the Sergio Marchionne press briefing.
"This undertaking to bring Alfa back is a one-shot deal... We are not going to do this twice."
There just aren't that many real characters left in the auto industry. Marchionne, who sits atop both Chrysler and Fiat, is not only one of the smartest execs in the business, but also the most frank. Herein, a sample of the quotable always-sweatered executive:

2015 Dodge Challenger looks fresh, still plenty retro [w/video]

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

It was the Ford Mustang that kicked off the retro-styled muscle car renaissance back in 2005, but it was the Dodge Challenger that served as the movement's poster child, with its unabashedly retro looks. Over the years, though, as the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro were freshened and upgraded, the look of the big Dodge has remained largely consistent since its 2008 debut. For 2015, the Challenger has received a big freshening, boasting strongly revised front and rear ends and (finally, finally, finally) a redesigned interior.
Let's talk about that new cabin first. It's basically been plucked directly from the redesigned Charger, and boasts the same seven-inch IP display. The center stack's miserable, last-gen display has been replaced by an expansive, 8.4-inch UConnect system. Material quality should see a solid boost with the new cabin, as well.
The exterior, meanwhile, sees a revised front fascia with LED halo lights, as well as new grille inserts. A functional shaker hood scoop is a must-have extra on the V8 models, while the back of the car is highlighted by a new set of LED taillights that don't use the "Racetrack" design of Dodge's other models.

2015 Dodge Viper price drops $15k for 2015

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

We recently saw updated specs and new trims of the 2015 Viper, but it looks like the folks at Dodge were saving the biggest surprise for last. Prices on all levels of the American sports car are seeing an immediate, across-the-board price cut of $15,000; even 2014 models still remaining on dealer lots.
The new MSRP for the 2015 Viper in its base SRT trim now starts at $84,995, and when the TA and GTS come to the lineup later next year, they start at $100,995 and $107,995, respectively. The move seems like a swing for the fences that might help to quell slow sales.
Obviously, current Viper owners might be somewhat peeved that their investment was just re-priced by the company. However, to assuage some of their concerns, Dodge is giving all fifth-gen owners a certificate worth $15,000 towards the purchase of a new one, which comes in addition to the price reduction.
