Excellent 1967 Dodge Coronet showing 22,586 original miles (actual). The car looks like it, drives like it, and is ready to put away for an investment, drive it as is, change it to a hemi clone car or whatever one would want to do with such a rare find.
Condition:
- Original miles showing 22.586. Automatic, power steering, vinyl topped true survivor.Certi-card is in file folder with the title and is included with the car.
- White paint is the original color and the original paint from the belt line up. The bottom-below beltline has been repainted
- 318 cubic inch 2-bbl motor runs and sounds like a new mopar would sound in 1967..
- Automatic/power steering, and all interior creature comforts work.
- Needs new carpeting. The pictures do not show the wear on the drivers side just left of the rubber foot pad.
- Brakes and lines have been gone through and are like new.
- Gas tank cleaned and in-line filter installed.
- Original steel wheels with hubcaps included with the car.
- The car needs: new carpet, could use new tires, and I would recommend installing a dual exhaust. Rear taillights show light cracking but you must look closely.
- Trunk is original and rust is surface rust only. New mat included but i removed same due to they are moisture traps. Jack and spare included as well.
- Note: this car can be driven as is and drives like a car with 22,586 miles should drive. All glass is good.
- I will be brutally honest answering any and all questions. You work hard for your money. I will work hard to make sure you feel you spent it wisely.
History: I believe I am the third owner of this car. The original owner, a purchaser who updated the brakes, painted the motor, and had the car painted from the belt line down, and then me. I went through the car, buffed it out, cleaned it out, and drove it.

Ralph Gilles responds to Dodge rumors, says brand is 'here to stay'
Fri, 12 Jul 2013This is why we love Ralph Gilles. While in Italy hanging out with a group of Viper Club members in Europe, the SRT boss took the time to respond to a question directed at him on Instagram in regards to the future of Dodge.
Recent reports have painted a bleak picture for Dodge, but Gilles defended Chrysler's full-line brand by stating that the rumors are, "all rumors, Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!" The idea of a "more focused" Dodge brand could lend some credibility to reports that the Grand Caravan and Durango are on their way out, which would leave Dodge solely as a car, or car-based, automaker.
This SEMA special drag race is absurdly awesome
Fri, Dec 5 2014The SEMA Show came and went last month, and it showed us a ton of heavily modded goodies to dream about during the long, cold winter. The Motor Trend Channel on YouTube is keeping the party rolling a little longer, though, with a drag race inspired by the aftermarket event. All of the hosts were supposed to borrow a vehicle from the show for the big race, but only two of them actually cajoled companies into lending their wares. Still, the result includes four very cool and extremely different examples of the breadth of the automotive hobby. First up, there's a 1955 Chevrolet with a 535-cubic-inch (8.8-liter) Hemi V8 stuffed under the hood. Appropriately, it's dubbed the Blasphemi, and with skinny tires up front, fat rubber in the rear and a stripped interior, this this is made to go very fast in a straight line. Next, there's a stock Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat boasting 707 horsepower. Plus, host Jessi Lang has her dog riding shotgun for the race. A Chevy Sonic RS with some body mods, downpipe and intake is also competing. Finally, the most bizarre of the quartet is a custom 1958 Jeep Forward Control with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and treads to replace the wheels. Obviously, the Blasphemi and Hellcat are the only two that really have a chance of winning, but check out the video to see which one crosses the finish line first. 2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment
Fri, 15 Feb 2013As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.
