1966 Dodge Coronet 440 Trim and 440 engine
This car is my baby. I have a couple other projects I want to finish, sad to see it go but its time to move on. Ive owned for about 3 years and put lots of money in it.<BR> This car is in incredible shape. CLEAN Oregon Title! Engine 1971 440 - steel crank, 9 to1 compression, Edelbrock E-street 75cc chamber heads. 224/234 @.050 .497int .520exh after the 1.6 chromoly roller rockers. Double roller timing chain. Comp pushrods, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Quick Fuel 750 carb, Billet distributor with blaster coil. 1 7/8 hooker headers into dual 3" single chamber mufflers with turn downs. Aluminum water pump and housing, mini denso alternator, mini starter, optima red top battery. SFI balancer and SFI B&M flexplate with all arp fasteners. 4 core aluminum radiator and a flex fan. K&N air filter. I always use non-ethanol premium fuel. Transmission Shift kit, 4 qt extra B&M transmission pan, aux cooler and cooler in radiator all plumbed with 4 an hydraulic line. Custom phoenix transmission 9.5 torque converter 2800 stall ( I wanted it tight for street use) Bolt on 1/4 Aluminum drive shaft loop Rearend 489 case 8.75 - 3.91 suregrip, adjustable pinion snubber. Landrum 200lb rear springs and competition engineering 3 way shocks Other Manual steering, lightweight aluminum master cylinder with disc proportioning valve, car is still 4 wheel drum brakes (stops great). Small 7260 ujoints. This car needs nothing but driven, if someone want to do some upgrades I recommend getting a 1350 driveline and converting to discs in the front (you are already half way there with the mastercylinder and prop valve) just to handle the power its putting out. New tires and draglite style wheels Body I don't have a ton of history on the car other than it was garaged most of its life. The paint you see is ORIGINAL, oregon has a great climate/doesnt salt the roads so cars hold up really well here. The body isnt perfect, it has 48 years of wear. There are a couple dings and some chipping and a spot I had painted by the drivers door handle (other owner spray painted about a dollar bill sized section, not sure why) There is some small rust starting in the lower rear quarter panels behind the tires. There is also a slight wrinkle or dent on the passenger side quaters and lower passenger side front fender. All trim and bumpers are perfect. Still has factory wiper arms with wind deflector. Interior New carpet and headliner, custom made dash with autometer phantom gauges. 2 5/8 electric oil pressure, water temp, trans temp and volt meter. 3 3/8 160 mph speedo and 3 3/8 8k tach. Original radio but does not work. Heater core isnt hooked up ( I didnt want the ugly heater hoses in the engine compartment and I dont drive it in the winter) Front floor pans were professionally patched, the rest of the floor and trunk floor needed no work. Had the floor pan and trunk floor coated with por15 and the trunk floor sprayed back to body color. The seats have a couple tears in them, not bad for 48 years, Door panels and dash or original I wanted to see what the car would run in the 1/4 mile before I sold it, so I took it to the local dragstrip. It ran 13.1 @106 on street tires! You will not be disappointed with this car, I have driven it about 15 times to work which is 60 miles round trip. The car has never let me down. Last time I did plugs there was 155 psi on every hole + or - 2 psi. Great oil pressure. Runs right around 180 on even the hottest days, Transmission has never gotten over 165 degrees. Vehicle is sold "as is" no warranties implied Do not bid on car unless you intend to buy it. $500.00 non refundable deposit is due 24hrs after auction ends, remaining amount must be paid in full 3 days after auction ends. Will accept paypal Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping arrangements and/or pickup Feel free to message me for more pictures. Have lots of photos throughout the various stages |

Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot boards meet to finalize merger
Tue, Dec 17 2019MILAN/PARIS — The boards of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Peugeot will meet separately on Tuesday to discuss finalizing an initial agreement for a $50 billion merger to create the world's number four carmaker, sources said. A source close to FCA said the two companies could announce the signing of a binding memorandum early on Wednesday, followed by a conference call to explain further details later in the day. The two mid-sized carmakers announced plans six weeks ago for a tie-up to help them deal with big challenges in the industry, including a global demand downturn and the need to develop costly cleaner cars to meet looming anti-pollution rules. Ahead of the meetings, entities representing the Peugeot family, Etablissements Peugeot Freres (EPF) and FFP, unanimously approved a proposed memorandum of understanding for the planned merger, a source familiar with the situation said. FCA and PSA have said they would seek to finalize a deal by year-end to create a group with 8.7 million in annual vehicle sales. That would put it fourth globally behind Volkswagen, Toyota and the Renault-Nissan alliance. PSA's Carlos Tavares will be chief executive and FCA's John Elkann — the scion of Italy's Agnelli family, which controls FCA through their holding company Exor — chairman of the combined company. The group will include the Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Peugeot, DS, Opel and Vauxhall brands, allowing it to serve mass and premium passenger car markets as well as those for trucks and light commercial vehicles. 2015 Dodge Challenger configurator has all the Hellcat you can dream of
Mon, 08 Sep 2014The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has sucked up a lot of air in the automotive news world this summer, so it's good to know that you can actually go out and, you know, buy the sucker. With 2015 models headed for your local showroom, Dodge has seen fit to also pull the wraps off it's latest Challenger configurator, complete with the supercharged Hemi V8 option that we just can't seem to get enough of.
We're still enamored of the $58,995 starting price for the 707-horsepower SRT, but the online tool finally gives us a chance to see just how optioned up our dream super-muscle coupe can get.
Buyers can choose from three interior treatments and nine paint colors, with two hues (Ivory White and Phantom Black tri-coats) coming for a $500 premium. For $1,795 Laguna Leather SRT bucket seats can be added in place of the (very nice) stock chairs, and a fancier infotaiment system with navigation and HD radio runs $695.
Killing the Dart and 200 might lower FCA's fuel economy burden
Tue, Feb 9 2016Killing the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 could allow FCA US to take advantage of an intriguing quirk in the next decade's fuel economy regulations. By increasing its ratio of trucks versus cars, the automaker might not need to worry so much about hitting the more stringent efficiency rules. At first thought, it might seem harder for an automaker with a ton of trucks to meet the government's mandated 54.5 mile per gallon corporate average fuel economy for 2025. However, every company doesn't need to hit that lofty figure, according to The Detroit Free Press. The exact target varies by the product mix between trucks and cars. "While passenger car and light truck categories have separate CAFE targets, it's still true that more trucks versus cars in a company lineup means a lower combined CAFE target," Brandon Schoettle, Project Manager Sustainable Worldwide Transportation at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, told Autoblog. "While passenger car and light truck categories have separate CAFE targets, it's still true that more trucks versus cars in a company lineup means a lower combined CAFE target." FCA US' current product blend has 80 percent pickups and CUVs, which means the company stands to benefit from a lower fuel economy target. It might not seem entirely fair environmentally, but this is a great move from a business perspective. The new CAFE rules aren't set in stone, according to The Detroit Free Press, but potentially taking advantage of the regulation is just one more reason to cut the Dart and 200. Modern crossovers also aren't gas guzzlers like older SUVs, which could make it easier to hit the fuel economy target. "Utilities offer practicality and versatility that cars do not, and now, built on car architectures, they do not penalize consumers on fuel economy as they once did," AutoTrader Senior Analyst Michelle Krebs told Autoblog. Schoettle warns that FCA is still making a gamble by killing the small sedans. "Depending on the previous sales volumes and how much these vehicles might have exceeded their specific CAFE targets, it's possible that these cars helped earn CAFE credits for FCA that they could bank for future use," he said. "Future sales breakdowns [car vs.
