Please Read Carefully, There is no title! There is no way to put "none" in the above listing.   Last Registered State was NY. New York does not title vehicles older than 1972. Vehicle is now in VT.  VT does not title vehicles over 15 years old. Bill of sale with last known registration will be provided. E-bay requires a number for the mileage in order to list, 80,000 is incorrect, True Mileage is unknown!

I purchased this car in 2002 as a parts car for my 1958 Dodge Royal which I just sold.  I never needed any parts from it. 325 Red Ram still runs without smoking, however it has sat for over 5 years. I just started it and it skips, some valves have been open for 5 years.  There is considerable rust on this car. Front floor boards were replaced by previous owner, and done poorly. Gas tank is in trunk and condition is unknown.  I have placed a temporary tank in trunk so you can hear it run if desired. Plastic tank does not go with car. (came from my boat).  Brakes are not functional, but emergency brake does work. When I initially purchased this car, I did run it on a back road and the car ran very well and shifted normally. It does have the better 3 speed transmission. Much of the missing chrome from the outside (seen in pictures) is in the car. Interior is filthy and headliner is rotted beyond repair.

For all I have said about the car, one of the reasons I never took parts from it is because it is not beyond repair, and still could be made into a daily driver for a reasonable amount of money. If you have any questions please ask before you bid. The 1958 I just sold went to Australia, I will not sell this car to anyone outside the US without prior approval. Please contact me before you bid.

This car is being sold "as is" with absolutely no warranty other than it runs and there are no liens against this vehicle.

A $500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction! Balance must be paid within 3 days of end of auction, Car must be picked up within 7 days of end of auction or arrangements made prior to the close of the auction.

If you have question feel free to call:  802-459-2070 or e-mail me through E-Bay

There is no reserve ! ( I will not take less than the starting price )  Please look at the pictures carefully.
Vehicle is listed locally and I reserve the right to cancel auction early if vehicle sells locally.
This vehicle cannot be driven on the road. Arrangements for transportation are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. I do have a flat bed and a single axle tractor, and may be able to help with transportation for an additional fee and in a localized area of the East Coast.

Stellantis launching at least 25 EVs for America by 2030

Tue, Mar 1 2022

Stellantis has announced a wide-ranging plan for the company through 2030 covering everything from product to financials. The product plans are what really caught our attention, particularly for the surprise reveal of the first electric Jeep, as well as new teasers of the electric Ram 1500. But the company also provided more broad details on what we'll be seeing in the future including both electric cars and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. All of the plans are in service of the Stellantis goal of reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2038. On that way, it plans for all European vehicle sales and half of all American sales to be electric by 2030. It will launch 75 new electric vehicles by that year, and at least 25 of them will be coming to the U.S. The first of those electric cars will be the aforementioned Jeep in 2023, but many Stellantis models will follow close behind. The electric Ram ProMaster will launch in 2023 as well. In 2024, we'll see the electric Ram (and its plug-in hybrid counterpart), two more Jeeps (an off-road model and a family-oriented model) and the Dodge electric muscle car. We'll get a preview of the Dodge with a concept this year. Then in 2025, Chrysler will launch its electric car, likely based on the Airflow concept. Stellantis has previously announced Chrysler will be fully electric by 2028, and it further announced that Alfa Romeo and Maserati will be fully electric by 2030. Stellantis is also working on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, mainly for commercial use. For the U.S., it plans on offering a large, ProMaster-size hydrogen van in 2025. That year or a little later, it also has plans for a hydrogen heavy-duty pickup truck, presumably Ram 2500 and 3500. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares noted that among the benefits of hydrogen for large and commercial vehicles is being able to avoid compromising payload capacity, since hydrogen powertrains are lighter than giant batteries. Hydrogen filling times are quick relative to charging, too. The company will continue working on and offering advanced driver aids. This year it will offer hands-free cruise control like GM's Super Cruise and Ford's BlueCruise. In 2024, the company intends to introduce a system that is hands-free and won't require the driver to be watching it the entire time. The technology is being developed alongside BMW. These are, of course, broad plans, and they could change as time goes on. Expect more details as we get closer to individual product releases.

Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.

Chrysler almost smothered the Hellcat before it lived

Thu, 06 Nov 2014

Chrysler's 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 was an absolute sensation from the very moment it was announced, and honestly, how could it not have been? Packing 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, its numbers immediately put every other production muscle car (and many supercars) to shame. Plus, we soon learned that would be wrapped in a package retailing for around $60,000 - a pittance compared to other vehicles offering similar grunt. However, the Hellcat almost never got the chance to rumble under the hood of the Challenger and Charger.
The Hellcat was initially proposed back in 2011, back when Fiat was deciding its future strategy for Chrysler Group, according to Automotive News. At the time, the company was just emerging from its bankruptcy doldrums, and an ultra-high-performance V8 wasn't exactly a must-have item. The program didn't move forward. However, SRT engineers kept fighting, according to AN, and four months later, they received the green light to pull the project off the shelf and continue developing the Hellcat. The muscle car world is certainly better for that decision.
The work of those engineers focused on taking Chrysler's standard 6.2-liter V8 and making it reliably handle all of the extra power from the supercharger. "It came down to micron levels of changes in the crank to be able to withstand the pressures of the engine," said Chris Cowland, director of advanced and SRT powertrain, to Automotive News. The changes amounted to switching out about 91 percent of the parts to make the Hellcat, including some quite minuscule alterations. For example, the washer holding the supercharger pulley is embedded with industrial diamonds to keep it from slipping.
