2012 DODGE CHARGER SRT8
WATCH THE VIDEO IN 720 HIGH DEF! WATCH TO THE END FOR A TEST DRIVE! What can we say that hasn't already been said? This is the best, baddest car on the road, bar none. If you want power, luxury, and comfort in a four door package, there isn't much else out there to really consider short of a Bentley or $100,000+ Audi S8. This 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 lives up to that standard and sets a new one thanks to having every last possible option that we know of on a car. It has adaptive cruise control, Redline tricoat pearl paint, Driver Confidence Package, moonroof, and more! Of course, the first thing you notice is the BIG 6.4 Hemi engine! It has Multi-Displacement technology so it shuts down cylinders when they aren't needed to improve MPGs yet is still packing 470 HORSEPOWER or more considering the cold air intake that has been added to it. There's also active suspension to adjust the ride to the road and your comfort level. The huge, 8.4-inch, touch-sensitive infotainment screen controls all the stuff you’d expect, but it also displays what Dodge calls Performance Pages. The function feeds to the driver information on steering input, engine figures like available horsepower and torque, and acceleration, braking, and roadholding data. The Instrument Panel can also be configured to show the performance metrics. 2012 CHARGER SRT8 ROAD TEST This particular SRT8 was just traded-in by the original owner on a new one. We did a full Carfax history and it shows that it has been well serviced its entire life. Clearly, this car has spent alot of time out on the interstates as you can see from the excellent condition of the seats and the entire car in general. We've gone over it top to bottom and cannot find anything that doesn't work just like it should. There are no warning lights or service lights activated either. We have put over a thousand miles on it already and that number is going to rise as we've been driving it every day! It's hard not to when you've got nearly 500 horsepower and over 20MPGs! Now the fine print... We
understand you are buying online, but with us you are not buying blind!
We handwrite every single description. We provide 24+ high resolution
pictures & we inspect and photo what you see and what you can't see.
We'll also be glad to email you detailed, closeup pictures of any area
you'd like to see more of. People ask us all the time what is the catch
to our vehicles. They assume that the prices are low because there is
something wrong with them. Nothing could be further from the truth! Our
secret is simple...LOW OVERHEAD. We are an internet-only dealer. We do
not maintain regular office hours or a large sales facility. We simply
have a Mississippi bonded dealer's license, a storage lot, and a
computer. Since we don't have dozens of mechanics, helpers, salesmen,
secretaries, etc. on our payroll; we are able to sell at greatly reduced
prices. We've put this vehicle through our EXTENSIVE inspection process & can report it has a great ride & drive! We do our best to let you know of any/all issues we can find on these vehicles since you're buying sight-unseen. There is a scratch on the top of the rear bumper and about a 2-3" long line in the driver door tint. That's about all we can nitpick. WATCH THE VIDEO. If you have any specific questions then don't hesitate to call us email us. Please understand we do our best to describe, in detail, every vehicle we offer to the Ebay public. However, if you have any hesitation during the bidding period, please obtain a Buyer's Inspection PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR BID to satisfy yourself. After the auction ends, understand you are the legal winning bidder of this auction and agree to all our Terms and Conditions. Be
sure and take a look at the book values on this vehicle (or any other
we have for sale) before you bid. We stopped offering a built-in BuyIt
Now option due to ebay's policy of letting anyone with an email address
register a username. We had half a dozen de@dbe@t
bidders in a row hit the BIN with no intention of paying. We do have a
BuyIt Now price so give us a call if you're interested. Make sure you
call us for more information on this vehicle. As always though, our
reserve is THOUSANDS less than NADA value so bid early & bid often
so you don't miss out!

1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
Defiance Dodge Charger, saving Earth from aliens isn't clean work [w/video]
Fri, 08 Feb 2013You'll be forgiven for not having heard about the TV show Defiance - it actually hasn't aired its first episode yet. The new science fiction show about an alien war against Earth in the near future seems like a perfect fit for the SyFy channel, and, apparently one that Dodge saw as a slick marketing opportunity for its Charger sedan.
Here in Chicago, Dodge has given a large corner of its show stand to the Defiance Charger, a car that won't be skipped by any Mad Max fans in attendance at this year's show. The Charger boasts one hell of a gnarly patina under a confusingly welded cage of tube steel, as well as window bars, a grille guard in front, and big, knobby truck tires. There aren't any obvious guns or turrets on the outside of the vehicle, so we can only hope that the characters driving it go well-armed.
Look for the Charger to make its star turn in Defiance when the series premieres on SyFy on April 15 at 9:00 PM EST. Also, there's said to be a Defiance video game in the works, too, so you may get a chance to steer the burly Dodge for yourself. Find a trailer for the show, below, as well.
Dodge pulls New Girl and The Office stars for new Dart spots
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Dodge is hoping that a heavy dash of humor helps it move some more units of the Dart with a hilarious ad campaign called Don't Touch My Dart. The spots star actors Craig Robinson, best known for his role as Darryl on The Office, and Jake Johnson from New Girl as neighbors and friends playing a game of one-upmanship over Robinson's new car. Johnson is envious of the ride and just wants to touch it.
The ads are pretty funny if you're a fan of somewhat absurdist humor, and Robinson has just the right amount of over-the-top seriousness to really make the commercials work. They have kind of a Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote vibe with Johnson constantly in inept pursuit of what he wants, but he clearly isn't getting it.
The first four spots in the campaign are already online, but according to Dodge this is just the beginning. The company says that it's planning about 24 different versions of these ads in various lengths to play on TV and online. You can check out the ads titled First Scratch, Birdhouse Police Garage Door and Voice Touching below, along with the brand's release about the new ads. There's also a pretty good gag on its YouTube page with Robinson protecting his Dart.
