This Charger is a special one, ordered from the factory with the Pursuit Police Package. The police package ads, heavy duty brakes, severe duty cooling, tuned steering and police style electronic stability control. Instead of a shifter mounted in the center console, the shifter is a column shifter with the Autostick features on a rocker switch. In front of the center console is an aluminum plate with slots in it to mount accessories for police, or random gadgets for civilians (plenty of room between the slots for the suction cup on navigation systems!!!). I am unaware if the standard charger has a deep cycle battery, but this one does and it is mounted in the trunk floor. Also a skidplate is added under the rack and pinion and its of heavy duty metal (at least 16 gauge).
One thing to note, the driver seats are cloth while the rear seats are leather. Also there is no carpet, it is a giant rubber floor mat the covers the entire floor.
The package deletes the rear door handles and the door lock pin that slides up and down from the rear door panels. The rear window switches do not function, although the windows DO go up and down via driver window controls.
It has the 5.7 Hemi without the R/T badging on the car, we have added the cold air intake to help It breathe better through it's true dual exhaust (no where does the exhaust go into a single pipe). Independent rear suspension helps keeps the 225/60R18 in all four corners planted.
The paint is gloss black with a beautiful finish that you can see yourself in.
Now the bad. The was in a slight flood and took on some water damage although you would be hard pressed to find any by looking at it. I have included pictures of the undercarriage showing what little damage the water did. The bushing casings took most of the abuse but the bushings themselves are fine. Surface rust is prevalent on the bushing casings, cv axle and tie rod ends and in random places on the exhaust like the hangers.
The flood water did come inside the car but did no damage because of the rubber floor mats it has due to the police package. We took the rubber "carpet" out and got the water out and there is no foam insulation to soak up anything. The fuse box and the wiring harness has been changed as a precaution.
We can ship anywhere in the world at the buyer's expense. I know truck drivers who can transport across America and I can also have it freighted overseas.

Chrysler killing off the 200 Convertible, Dodge Avenger
Sun, 23 Feb 2014When Chrysler rolled out the first-generation 200 to replace the Sebring range in 2010, it included replacements for both the sedan and the convertible. The Sebring Coupe, however, was left out of the mix. And now that the second-generation Chrysler 200 is descending upon us, Auburn Hills is paring things down even further. But this time, it's the convertible that reportedly isn't making the cut. Shame, too, since the rendering above shows what could have been quite an attractive droptop.
As our compatriots at Edmunds point out, sales of the convertible model accounted for less than five percent of overall Chrysler 200 sales, and at those numbers, the considerable cost of engineering a new drop-top couldn't be justified. With the Toyota Camry Solara and Volkswagen Eos also gone from the market (well, the VW isn't gone quite yet), the discontinuation of the Chrysler 200 Convertible leaves the affordable convertible segment largely to the sportier likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro and smaller European offerings like the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle.
The Chrysler 200 Convertible isn't the only derivative being left behind with the new model: so too is the Dodge Avenger. That will leave a glaring hole in the Dodge lineup, with nothing to bridge the gap between the compact Dart and the larger Charger. Whether the Dodge brand has any plans to replace the Avenger with another model, not to be based on the 200, remains to be seen.
Stellantis expects to hit emissions target without Tesla's help
Tue, May 4 2021Franco-Italian carmaker Stellantis expects to achieve its European carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions targets this year without environmental credits bought from Tesla, its CEO said in an interview published on Tuesday. Stellantis was formed through the merger of France's PSA and Italy's FCA, which spent about 2 billion euros ($2.40 billion) to buy European and U.S. CO2 credits from electric vehicle maker Tesla over the 2019-2021 period. "With the electrical technology that PSA brought to Stellantis, we will autonomously meet carbon dioxide emission regulations as early as this year," Stellantis boss Carlos Tavares said in the interview with French weekly Le Point. "Thus, we will not need to call on European CO2 credits and FCA will no longer have to pool with Tesla or anyone." California-based Tesla earns credits for exceeding emissions and fuel economy standards and sells them to other automakers that fall short. European regulations require all car manufacturers to reduce CO2 emissions for private vehicles to an average of 95 grams per kilometer this year. A Stellantis spokesman said the company is in discussions with Tesla about the financial implications of the decision to stop the pooling agreement. "As a result of the combination of Groupe PSA and FCA, Stellantis will be in a position to achieve CO2 targets in Europe for 2021 without open passenger car pooling arrangements with other automakers," he added. Tesla's sales of environmental credits to rival automakers helped it to announce slightly better than expected first-quarter revenue this week. The next tightening of European regulations will soon be the subject of proposals from the European Commission. The 2030 target could be lowered to less than 43 grams/km. Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat ringtone revs up [w/video]
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The best (or worst, depending on your views) thing about smartphones is that you're able to carry lots, and lots of useful stuff around in your pocket. That means you can always have a phone, messaging service, email, flashlight, calculator, dictionary, encyclopedia, and literally thousands of other things on your person at all times. Now, we can add one more thing for you to carry about in your little slab of aluminum, glass and plastic - a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Now, you obviously can't carry around a 707-horsepower muscle car around in your pocket. That'd be ridiculous, impractical and uncomfortable. You can, however, carry around the noise made by said muscle car's 6.2-liter, supercharged Hemi V8, thanks to a new, free-to-download ringtone from the folks at Dodge and SRT.
We can't embed the ringtone here, so if you'd like to hear exactly how it'll sound when your phone goes off, you'll need to head over to the SRT Hellcat's page. If that's more trouble than it's worth, the same ringtone was attached to a tiny speaker on the press kit for the mighty Challenger, and was captured on video by our own Seyth Miersma (don't worry, he's already been soundly dressed down for shooting a video in portrait mode).
