This is a 1 owner car with a ton of custom work done to it as you can see.

Custom body mods include an aftermarket front fascia and side skirts supplied by Grip and are only part of the beginning of what's done to this beautiful Charger. The grill crossbar as well as the roof spoiler are custom hand made fiberglass parts and complement the lines of the car quite well. The roof spoiler houses the led 3rd brake light that has been shaved from the trunk lid along with the lock and all emblems. The headlights have also been customized with matching gloss black paint inside the housings along with super bright led rings in orange, 4 in all. The orange led treatment continues behind the grill, under the hood and in to the interior door panels and speaker grills for a fantastic night time effect as well as in to the trunk to light up the custom stereo. All these led's are on a remote switch for the ultimate in versatility and ease of functionality.

The interior is customized with matching orange and black paint on the steering wheel, center console and lower door panels as well as the amps and sub box. There is a custom pistol grip shifter to row through the gears housed in the center console along with a 1700 watt stereo housed in the dash.
A pioneer 6" dvd/navigation unit provides the sights and directions while Rockford Fosgate supplies the sound sensations. The amps include one rated at 700 watts to crank the 2 dash tweeters and 4-6x9's in the front doors and rear deck while the sub amp is rated at 1000 watts to power the 2-12" P3 subs to neighborhood disturbing levels.

The engine compartment has been completely painted to match and includes a custom made cold air intake along with a mirrored firewall panel to hide the factory wiring under the dash just for starters. There is a custom made abs cover that cleans up the front passenger side corner quite nicely. Also a radiator support cover is nicely color matched to hide the unsightly look of the radiator and a/c condensor and all it's lines. The coil pack covers have been treated to the custom touch as well and stand out against the otherwise black background. To round off the under hood goodies is a set of Billet Technologies brand, SRT custom engraved black billet covers for such parts as the radiator overflow bottle, power steering, transmission fill, washer fluid tank, oil fill, etc.

The trunk is also customized with a painted and upholstered sub box panel as well as hand made removable floor and side panels to cover up the original grey carpeted trunk pieces all in black. The is also a custom made under trunk panel made with clear lexan and black velour that lights up the SRT logo in orange at night.

The performance level of a stock SRT8 is quite impressive all on it's own rated at 425hp from the factory. Keep in mind that's rated at the flywheel. Most SRT's dyno at closer to 360-375hp at the wheels.
This model however is far from stock and has been treated to an aggressive stage 1 cam, custom intake, full 3" exhaust with Magnaflow high flow cats and polished Zoomers cat back with black powder coated tips. This combination produced 440rwhp and 438lbft of torque after a custom tuning session on a Dynojet brand dyno by RDP Motorsport. The transmission has also been beefed up with a Protorque 2800 stall convertor as well as a paramount Performance brand valve body and top plate. The shifts are crisp and let you know you're driving a modern muscle car. The rearend has also been upgraded by way of a set of DSS axles rated at 1000hp and can easily handle anything this combination can dish out. To date the car's best ET is 11.95 @ over 118 mph.

This car has just over 121,000 miles on it and therefore is not perfect. It does have a few small nicks on the front fascia as well as a couple of other signs of wear as any car with this type of highway mileage would. It has been very well taken care of and maintained to the best of my ability using only genuine Mopar parts when and where available. It runs as good as the day it was new (albeit much faster) and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere at any time. Parking it is a different story all together lol. Be prepared for the constant attention a high profile car and paint job like this brings with it. I can't stop at a traffic light or a gas station without folks taking pics and giving me a thumbs up. As you can see from the pics this car is a multi show winner and has been taking home top honors for more than a couple of years now.
In fact just this past month it took home a 1st place win at Chryslers at Carlisle in the modified category for 2006 and up Charger, Magnum and 300 class. In the past it has won best paint many times including 2009 where it was entered in the NMCA event at Maple Grove Raceway in Maplegrove PA where it took home top honors for the entire 2 day show along with a best paint award. All total it garnered over 6 awards that weekend including a 6 foot tall trophy and a custom made event winner jacket.

I encourage you to make an appointment to see this car in person however test drives will not be permitted by anyone other than myself. No exceptions so please don't ask.

Values snowball for legendary Tucker Sno-Cats, latest toys of the super rich

Fri, Jan 5 2018

Here's a fun-sounding vehicle perfect for the cold and snow that's currently gripping much of North America. Tucker — no, not that Tucker — just marked its 75th anniversary making the Sno-Cat, its orange-painted, four-tread snow vehicles that have inspired backcountry skiers, collectors — and increasingly, the super rich. Bloomberg in a recent story writes that demand for the Medford, Ore.-based company's products is soaring on demand from the wealthy, who need a way to get to their backcountry mountain retreats. They're also in demand from collectors and gearheads who also love snow, like two anonymous collectors who are believed to have amassed more than 200 vintage Sno-Cats. The value of vintage models has reportedly tripled in the past five years to well over $100,000 for a fully restored rig. Tucker Sno-Cat Corp. claims to be the world's oldest surviving snow vehicle manufacturer, launched by E.M. Tucker in 1942 out of a desire to design a vehicle for traveling over the kind of deep, soft snow found in the Rogue River Valley of his childhood. It was four Tucker Sno-Cat machines that helped English explorer Vivian Fuchs and his 12-man party make the first 2,158-mile overland crossing of Antarctica in 1957-58. While many of the company's competitors either shuttered or adapted to serving ski resorts with wider, heavier treads, Tucker has stuck to its formula of making lightweight vehicles to travel over deep snow. Many Tuckers use Chrysler's flat six-cylinder engine, or its Dodge Hemi V8 for larger Sno-Cats, mounted rear or centrally, with basic, no-frills aluminum cabins. Sno-Cats all have four articulating tracks that are independently sprung, powered and pivoted at the drive axle. Track options come in three different types: conventional steel grouser belt track, rubber-coated aluminum grouser belt track, and one-piece all-rubber track. Steering is hydraulically controlled by pivoting the front and rear axles for smooth movement over undulating terrain with minimal disturbance of the ground cover. The company today makes 75 to 100 Sno-Cats a year for customers including the U.S. military, oil-drilling crews in cold places like Alaska and North Dakota, and utilities. But demand is so high that it's launched a profitable service reselling and refurbishing old machines. E.M. Tucker's grandson, Jeff McNeil, now head of this division, scours Google Earth for abandoned Sno-Cats rusting in backyards that he might be able to acquire and fix up.

Dodge idles Viper production again at Conner Avenue

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

You've got to hand it to Dodge for having the gumption to put the original Viper into production in the first place. It was, after all, much more of an emotional decision than a practical one, and a move which saw the first production V10 engine placed in a road car - long before the advent of the Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Porsche Carrera GT or Lexus LFA, not to mention the other Ford, BMW and Volkswagen Group models that used such engines.
It's now been 22 years since the first Viper entered production and the Viper still rolls on several generations later, but we're sad to say that courageous decision has not always been met with overwhelming sales success. In fact parent Chrysler was forced to idle the Conner Avenue plant where the Viper is made back in April due to slow sales. And while production resumed again as planned on June 23, it apparently didn't do the trick.
As a result, Chrysler corporate communications chief Shawn Morgan revealed to Autoblog that the assembly line has been shut down again for another two weeks. The line was up and running for nearly two full work weeks from June 23 until the holiday weekend that started on Thursday, July 3. But instead of coming back online today as planned, it's been idled again for the weeks of July 7 and 14. That means it will be July 21, at the earliest, before the serpentine supercars start slithering down the assembly line at Conner Avenue again. Once it does, however, production is set to resume at the same pace it was before the shutdown.

2013 Dodge Dart gets brace of new special edition models

Thu, 16 May 2013

After almost a year on the market it, it is becoming more clear to Dodge how customers like to option out their Darts, so the automaker has combined popular features into three special edition packages and sweetened the prices. Start with a standard 2013 Dart and add either the SXT or Limited "Special Editions" or Rallye Appearance Group, and you'll save yourself a lot of box checking.
The $595 Dart SXT Special Edition takes the trim just above the base model and adds a new grille, dark-tinted headlights and projector fog lights, LED racetrack taillights, cruise control and audio controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Limited Special Edition starts with the top-end model and adds a power sunroof, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and Nappa leather seats among other features, for $1,810.
The Rallye Appearance Group (pictured) is a package for the SXT, and it blacks out the front fascia, throws on 17-inch wheels and some badging for $395. The new special editions are reaching dealers now and could help the Dart's sales to further improve after a slow start. You can find out more about them in the press release below.
