This is GLHS# 582, I have owned the car since early 2008. I have owned the car since 2008, when I purchased it from Georgia. I have put alot of time and money into this car. It runs smooth and is actually very reliable considering its age. I have only needed to replace the battery and the water pump had a slight leak so I also replaced it. The rundown of the car is as follows..... And I almost almost 100% positiveit it has the Mopar Super 60 kit on it.
Exterior:
-Body is is good condition with some minor scratches, dings. The left fender and ground effect piece has slight damage to it. It is NOT perfect but for being almost 25 years old is in very good condition considering its age. There is slight delamenation on the hood(clear coat peeling). the front lower spoiler also has some stone chips in it.
Interior:
-Is in good shape seats are a little dirty/stained with it being light grey it shows everything, but it doesn't seem like anything a good steam cleaning wouldn't take care of. Carpet is not the best, could it be cleaned sure but this rare car I think deserves a new one. trim panels for the most part are in decent shape. Some of the trunk interior is out of the car but I have most of it.
Engine:
- 2.2l 4cyl Turbo. I am not certain on the bottom end if it was ever rebuilt, or if forged internals are in it. Stock they weren't forged but the parts are very common and could have been upgraded. The head also seems to big the "big valve race" head from Mopar, the casting #'s were taken off, and there were specs written in black sharpie on the cam pulley side off the head that have since faded to where you can't read the anymore.
Turbocharger:
-Like i mentioned earlier about the Super 60 kit, I have never had the turbo off but all off the other pieces to the kit are present.
Intercooler:
-Treadstone aluminum thick core front mount with the 90 degree elbows welded on to make intercooler piping easier. 2.5" mandrel bent intercooler piping cut and fit by me, I also custom made a Weapon R intake made for an SRT I also cut and welded that to fit custom on this car as you will see in the pics it looks great fits great and works great. Also has a Synapse blow-off valve on it, which doesn't make it faster but it sounds unbelievably neat when it blows off.
Transmission:
-Stock 525 5 speed
Brakes:
-SLH 3 mod done. All brake parts are brand new from calipers, brake hoses, brake cables, pads, even the brake lines meaning the steel lines from the master cylinder to the calipers are custom bent new pieces. The rotors are custom drilled/slotted zinc plated so they don't rust. If you don't know what the SLH upgrade is you can google it, but it converts the car to 4 wheel disc on all for corners and it means Stops Like Hell.....and believe me it brakes!!
Wheels:
-TSW Vortex 17x8 with custom Gorilla locking hubs. And the TSW Hubcentric kit, not pictured.
Tires:
-Yokohama S-Drive 225-35 17's which have maybe have 50 miles on them if that.
Suspension:
-Koni Adjustable struts/shocks that are stock on this car. Ground Control coilover kit, which raises or lowers the car.
Exhaust: Stock, but i have the muffler tailpipe cut off because I bought a full 3" Turbos Unleashed mandrel bent exhaust system from the downpipe back (which I haven't installed) and also a Turbos Unleashed custom new style 3" swingvalve which also isn't installed. And a brand new 3" DC muffler.
Fuel:
-Super 60 external fuel pump. Everything else is factory.

Dodge Vipers selling for $480k in China
Wed, Apr 29 2015Want to get your hands on a new Dodge Viper? Be prepared to pay dearly. It starts at nearly $90k here in the US, but that's nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for one if you lived in, say, China. CarsNewsChina.com reports on one Viper available in Beijing for an eye-watering 298 million yuan – equivalent to about $480,000 at today's exchange rates and representing more than a 500-percent markup. Part of that premium comes down to the Chinese tax code that charges a reported 60 percent for anything with an engine displacing over four liters. And the Viper's, we needn't remind you, is more than twice that. It naturally costs some to import a car to China as well, but most of the rest is pure profit. The Beijing dealership reportedly gets the cars from dealers in California, has already sold three and plans to import several more. The dealer can also get you (or wealthy Chinese individuals) a Corvette Stingray for a comparatively cheap 1.73 million yuan (or $280k). Related Video:
Dodge, Jeep and Ram could soon be owned by Chinese automakers
Mon, Aug 14 2017For the past several years, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has made it widely known that the automaker he helms is up for grabs. First, he sent an email to GM CEO Mary Barra, who immediately refused to even discuss a merger. Later, Marchionne set his sights on Volkswagen. That too was swiftly rebuffed. It seemed like no global automaker was remotely interested in a partnership. Now, Automotive News reports that several Chinese automakers have come calling, only FCA isn't ready to answer. At least not yet. The news broke this morning that a major Chinese automaker had made an offer to purchase FCA for slightly above market value. FCA refused, saying the offer wasn't quite generous enough. It's unclear which automaker made the offer, but Automotive News says there's more than one interested party. FCA representatives have recently traveled to China to meet with Great Wall Motors, while Chinese representatives were seen at FCA corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Chinese government has a lot of money invested in local automakers. It's putting pressure on these automakers to expand globally, including to the United States. As it stands, it's a matter of when a Chinese automaker will start selling cars here, not if. Purchasing an established automaker with a wide range of products and a huge dealer network would do wonders in giving the Chinese a foothold here. Sure, Geely owns Volvo, but a luxury automaker doesn't have nearly as much reach as a more mainstream company like FCA. This seems like the best case scenario for both a Chinese automaker looking to move into the U.S. and for FCA, at least from a business standpoint. The latter doesn't seem to have any other interested parties. It will be interesting to see how FCA would sell a deal like this to the public. We're not sure everyone will be happy with Dodge, Jeep and Ram falling under Chinese ownership. FCA didn't turn down the Chinese because they didn't like the idea. It turned down the offer because there wasn't enough money on the table. Related Video: News Source: Automotive News Earnings/Financials Alfa Romeo Chrysler Dodge Fiat Jeep RAM
Dodge recalls 121,603 examples of Dart for loss of brake assist
Fri, Dec 4 2015Dodge will recall 121,603 worldwide examples of the 2013-2014 Dart with the 2.0- and 2.4-liter engines because of possible loss of power brake assistance. The company reports two minor injuries and seven accidents potentially related to this problem. The affected models have build dates before Jan. 24, 2014. There are 105,458 of these vehicles in the US; 11,996 in Canada; 3,705 in Mexico; and 444 outside of NAFTA. This campaign doesn't affect Darts with the 1.4-liter engine. These vehicles' brake-booster vacuum tube routing can potentially allow oil to access and eventually to degrade the brake booster diaphragm. If this happens, then the vehicles could lose braking assist. The brakes themselves would continue to work, but the driver would experience longer stopping distances. A pop or similar sound of a vacuum leak sometimes precedes the problem, according to the automaker. Dealers will inspect the components and replace the vacuum tube. If technicians find oil in the tube, they'll also swap out the vacuum pump, brake booster, and master cylinder. Affected owners will receive notice from the company within the next 60 days. Statement: Vacuum-tube Assembly December 3, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is voluntarily recalling an estimated 105,458 compact sedans in the U.S. to inspect and replace vacuum-tube assemblies and certain other components, as required. Some of the affected vehicles may be subject to oil migration that could affect their brake systems' power-assist feature. Foundation brake function is unaffected. However, if this condition occurs, the driver may notice hard pedal-feel on brake application, and longer distances may be required to stop the vehicle in emergency situations. An FCA US investigation identified certain model-year 2013-14 vehicles equipped with 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter engines, may have brake-booster vacuum-tube routing that inadvertently allows oil to reach the brake booster diaphragm, if ever the vacuum-pump check valve fails. Oil may degrade the diaphragm and lead to a loss of brake-assist – a feature that helps reduce stopping distances. FCA US is aware of two minor injuries and seven accidents that are or may be related to this condition. The recall is limited to model-year 2013-14 Dodge Dart sedans produced before Jan. 24, 2014. It also affects an estimated 11,996 cars in Canada; 3,705 in Mexico and 444 outside the NAFTA region. Vehicles equipped with 1.4-liter engines are excluded.
