I'm selling this rare Shelby GLHS #343, 2.2L intercooled turbo. In short, it runs well, is solid mechanically, has recently been painted, and almost new tires. Due to the car sitting it has developed some intermittent issues with the lighting to the gauges, turn signal relay, and wiper switch. Currently has 103k miles. I've driven it very little and never raced it. The car is mostly stock except for a low miles rebuilt engine, brakes upgraded to SLH4 with disks all around, stage II MP computer, window tint, boost gauge, pioneer CD player and a Turbo XS BOV. I am including a large assortment of spare parts. This car is getting hard to find, so the parts can be very valuable. Parts include: SHELBY valve cover, SHELBY seat and extra seat cover, spare taillights, spare Air Dam/Bumper cover, interior/exterior panels, original block, original front Koni's (KYB's in front now) and more that will go with the car.
The car was repainted a few years ago and looks amazing. Before I purchased the car, it was in a fender bender and was in primer. I replaced the front fenders and had it painted.
Currently the power steering rack has a leak and should be rebuilt or replaced soon because it leaks fluid into the interior. This is the only mechanical issue with the car that I know of. I may get around to repairing it this summer if the car does not sell. Not a huge repair job, just a weekend project and the rack has a lifetime warranty from NAPA.
At 60k miles the car received a makeover that included:
New engine, balanced, ARP rod bolts, light
flywheel, all new turbo water and oil hoses, new radiator, new Indy
intercooler, new 2 piece intake, new fuel press regulator, axles rebuilt,
new intermediate shaft bearing and U joint, new A/C hoses and almost new
compressor and clutch, rebuilt minivan front brake calipers, rear discs,
new headliner, Infinity AM/FM/Cassette. most parts used were factory Mopar.
All Shelby stuff is there.

Stellantis earnings rise along with EV sales
Wed, Feb 22 2023AMSTERDAM — Automaker Stellantis on Wednesday reported its earnings grew in 2022 from a year earlier and said its push into electric vehicles led to a jump in sales even as it faces growing competition from an industrywide shift to more climate-friendly offerings. Stellantis, formed in 2021 from the merger of Fiat Chrysler and FranceÂ’s PSA Peugeot, said net revenue of 179.6 billion euros ($191 billion) was up 18% from 2021, citing strong pricing and its mix of vehicles. It reported net profit of 16.8 billion euros, up 26% from 2021. Stellantis plans to convert all of its European sales and half of its U.S. sales to battery-electric vehicles by 2030. It said the strategy led to a 41% increase in battery EV sales in 2022, to 288,000 vehicles, compared with the year earlier. The company has “demonstrated the effectiveness of our electrification strategy in Europe,” CEO Carlos Tavares said in a statement. “We now have the technology, the products, the raw materials and the full battery ecosystem to lead that same transformative journey in North America, starting with our first fully electric Ram vehicles from 2023 and Jeep from 2024.” The automaker is competing in an increasingly crowded field for a share of the electric vehicle market. Companies are scrambling to roll out environmentally friendly models as they look to hit goals of cutting climate-changing emissions, driven by government pressure. The transformation has gotten a boost from a U.S. law that is rolling out big subsidies for clean technology like EVs but has European governments calling out the harm that they say the funding poses to homegrown industry across the Atlantic. Stellantis' Jeep brand will start selling two fully electric SUVs in North America and another one in Europe over the next two years. It says its Ram brand will roll out an electric pickup truck this year, joining a rush of EV competitors looking to claim a piece of the full-size truck market. The company plans to bring 25 battery-electric models to the U.S. by 2030. As part of that push, it has said it would build two EV battery factories in North America. A $2.5 billion joint venture with Samsung will bring one of those facilities to Indiana, which is expected to employ up to 1,400 workers. The other factory will be in Windsor, Ontario, a collaboration with South KoreaÂ’s LG Energy Solution that aims to create about 2,500 jobs. The EV push comes amid a slowdown in U.S.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat ringtone revs up [w/video]
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The best (or worst, depending on your views) thing about smartphones is that you're able to carry lots, and lots of useful stuff around in your pocket. That means you can always have a phone, messaging service, email, flashlight, calculator, dictionary, encyclopedia, and literally thousands of other things on your person at all times. Now, we can add one more thing for you to carry about in your little slab of aluminum, glass and plastic - a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Now, you obviously can't carry around a 707-horsepower muscle car around in your pocket. That'd be ridiculous, impractical and uncomfortable. You can, however, carry around the noise made by said muscle car's 6.2-liter, supercharged Hemi V8, thanks to a new, free-to-download ringtone from the folks at Dodge and SRT.
We can't embed the ringtone here, so if you'd like to hear exactly how it'll sound when your phone goes off, you'll need to head over to the SRT Hellcat's page. If that's more trouble than it's worth, the same ringtone was attached to a tiny speaker on the press kit for the mighty Challenger, and was captured on video by our own Seyth Miersma (don't worry, he's already been soundly dressed down for shooting a video in portrait mode).
Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
