Up for sale is my prized possession, which i have owned over 20 years now. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. This is a real R/T and a factory rear spoiler car. Only 197 of these Chargers came through with a wing so it's a very rare car when you figure it out with the color combinations and options. This Charger was restored around 6 years ago but after breaking in the motor and transmission, it wasn't driven much at all. The car has less than 1000 miles since the restoration and is stored in a climate controlled garage. The car is extremely straight and clean. I have the fender tag and restored the car to almost original with a few details changed to make it more appealing to the eyes. The car is painted in its original red. The vehicle came factory with black interior, white bumblebee stripe, black vinyl top and 440 hood callouts. Its originally a 440 automatic A/C car. The a/c was removed and a patch was made in the firewall. It has a built 440 in it which was estimated over 500 hp. Its a 78 truck 440 block bored .60 over. It has worked 906 Heads a mild cam and a Holley Street Avenger carb. This Car is very fast and does get traction thanks to the 10 inch wide Magnum 500 wheels in the rear. The transmission is a tci super street fighter and has a 2500 rpm stall converter. This transmission has a auto/manual valve body so u can manually shift it to get the most power from it. It has a 8 3/4 rear with 3:91 posi gears in it. It runs and drives great. This car gets nothing but compliments anywhere u go. It was converted to power disk brakes in the front with cross drilled and slotted rotors. The car has brand new quarter panels, rear valence, wheel houses and trunk floors. All work was performed by myself a body man of 30 years and it was done 100% right. It was done using the best quality PPG paint products. It was over $1500 in primer and paint materials alone. The car can be seen and i will personally take you for a ride in the vehicle. I cannot allow test drives because insurance will not cover anything if i'm not driving. Any other information you would like to know you can call me and ask. My name is Kenny and phone number is 845-590-5480. The asking price is 60,000. I am interested in hearing other offers. I also have pictures available throughout the full restoration process for anyone interested in seeing the work done.

Dodge Viper ACR reportedly green lit [w/video]
Fri, Feb 6 2015The Dodge Viper might be getting a little more venomous in the near future thanks to a return of the performance-honed ACR trim. According to an anonymous source leaking the info to Allpar, the version would go into production in July as a 2016 model year vehicle. FCA US showed a concept for a future ACR (pictured above) at the 2014 SEMA Show that sported carbon fiber parts for the front splitter and dive planes, plus a picnic-table-sized rear wing. The body also received ducts at the rear to shoot cool air to the differential. A set of 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic brake rotors also brought things to a halt in a hurry. The company promised all the aero pieces were sculpted in the wind tunnel to give the coupe even more downforce. To shed weight, engineers chucked the radio, speakers, carpet and sound deadening out of the interior, and they replaced many bits with even more carbon fiber. All of the tweaks are necessary because the ACR moniker carries serious cachet for the Viper at the track, especially at the Nurburgring. One reportedly did a 7:22 lap around the 'Ring in 2008, and another improved that further to 7:12 in 2011. Autoblog reached out to FCA US for comment about the possibility for the hotter Viper, but the company wasn't willing to comment about any possible, future projects. Related Video:
2013 Dodge Dart GT offers subtle menace in compact form
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Dodge has already shared all of the relevant information about its all-new 2013 Dart GT, but it wasn't until now that we've seen the car, live and in person. The slightly meaner front fascia and bigger wheels look great on the Dodge, and the red-on-black perforated seats are sporting in an aftermarket sort of way.
To recap: The Dart GT also gets a bit more power, using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to make 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A starting price of $20,995 will get you LED taillights, dual exhaust, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Feel free to re-acquaint yourselves with the full Dodge Dart GT information in the press release below, or have a leisurely browse through our gallery of live images.
Stellantis mega-merger gets approval from FCA, PSA shareholders
Mon, Jan 4 2021MILAN — Shareholders of Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot decisively voted Monday to merge the U.S.-Italian and French carmakers to create worldÂ’s 4th-largest auto company. Addressing separate meetings, both PSA Peugeot CEO Carlos Tavares and Fiat Chrysler Chairman John Elkann spoke of the “historic” importance of the vote, which combines legacy car companies that helped write the industrial histories of the United States, France and Italy. Before the merger is finalized, shares in the new company, to be called Stellantis, must the launched. It will be traded in Milan, New York and Paris. The marriage of PSA Peugeot and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is built on the promise of cost-savings in the capital-hungry industry, but what remains to be seen is if it will be able to preserve jobs and heritage brands in a global market still suffering from the pandemic. The deal will create the worldÂ’s fourth-largest carmaker, with the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, behind Volkswagen, Toyota and Renault-Nissan, and create 5 billion euros in annual synergies. “We are fully aware of the fact that together we will be stronger than individually,'' PSA CEO Carlos Tavares told a virtual gathering of eligible shareholders. “The two companies are in good health. These two companies have strong positions in their markets.” The new company will put together under one roof French mass-market carmakers Peugeot and Citroen, top-selling Jeep and Italian luxury and sports brands Maserati and Alfa Romeo - pooling companies that have helped define the industry in the United States, France and Italy. While the tie-up is billed as a merger of equals, the power advantage goes to PSA, with Tavares running Stellantis and holding the tie-breaking vote on the 11-seat board. Tavares is set to take full control of the company early this year, possibly by the end of January. Fiat Chrysler chairman John Elkann, heir to the Fiat-founding Agnelli family and Fiat ChryslerÂ’s biggest shareholder, will be the Stellantis chairman. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will head North American operations, which is key to Tavares' long-time goal of getting a U.S. foothold for the French carmaker he has run since 2014, and the clear money-maker for Fiat Chrysler. Such a deal was long wanted by Fiat ChryslerÂ’s long-time CEO Sergio Marchionne, who had predicted the necessity of consolidation in the industry. He was unable to find a deal before his sudden death in July 2018.
