THIS COMPLETE PACKAGE CAME OUT OF A 69 CHARGER R/T!

This is my personal motor that was in my 69 charger that I originally built for a class called Real street! It is a very reliable street or race motor. I just had the long block freshened up. This was only done because it was in my car since 04, it ran perfect when I pulled it, just wanted to freshen it up. This included going .010 over now it is 580 CI new diamond pistons, new valve guides, new Manley polished nextek valve springs, new comp roller lifters and more.

Motor has always been well cared for and never hurt. Rev-limiter was always set at 7,000

In my 4100 LBS Charger, leaving the line at 1700 RPM on 10 DOT tires & mufflers would run 9.50s @ 149 MPH

THIS IS A RUSH SITTING AT THE STARTING LINE WITH THE CLUTCH IN AND 4SPD SHIFTER IN YOUR HAND KNOWING YOUR ABOUT TO DROP THE CLUTCH ON A 1000+HP MOTOR!!!!!!!!!

Some basics on the motor; originally started out as a custom built 572 using a Indy Maxx aluminum block and heads. Had to go .010 over when freshened up. The heads are fully ported. Small solid roller cam from cam motion. Approx 690 lift. Callies crank. Eagle rods with upgraded bolts. Milodon single line pick up. Hampton 8-71 Super Charger. 950 HP Holley's. MSD distributor. The motor was built to be reliable and maintance free .

The Intake and heads are not bolted down so the motor can be inspected if need be. So keep in mind; you will have to install the heads and intake. Gaskets are included!

The transmission is a Jerico 4spd with road race sliders. It works great, not very street friendly if you don't know how to shift. I will also include the slip yoke for the Jerico.

Clutch is a McLoad soft-Loc that only has one weekend on it. If used correctly, this clutch can last a couple seasons.

The Dodge Challenger plays its trump card: all-wheel drive

Wed, Dec 7 2016

Perennially stuck in third place behind the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro in sales and enthusiast comparisons, the Dodge Challenger is doing something unconventional for a muscle couple. It's adding all-wheel drive. It's a new feature for Detroit's pony cars – none of the three have ever had it – and it could be a game-changer. Called the Challenger GT, the Dodge launches this winter for a starting price of $34,490. The Challenger GT comes with the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 rated at 305 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. It teams with an eight-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission and is estimated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. An FCA spokesperson said no manual transmission or V8 models will be offered on the all-wheel-drive Challenger. It will be on display in January at the Detroit auto show. View 8 Photos All-wheel drive is a widely expected addition for the Challenger. The coupe shares underpinnings with the four-door Charger, which offers an all-wheel drive variant and the cars have similar powertrain offerings (the AWD Charger is also V6 and automatic only). Naturally, the Challenger borrows the Charger's AWD system and during regular driving conditions, the front axle disengages and full torque goes to the back wheels, allowing the Challenger to function as a rear-wheel drive car. It automatically goes back to AWD when more traction is needed. Handling is also fortified with a vehicle dynamic control system. Conversely, the electronic stability control has three modes and can be switched off for drift-happy enthusiasts. The GT has features familiar to other Challenger and Dodge owners, including an 8.4-inch touchscreen radio, Performance Pages (accessible through the Super Trak Pack button), and paddle shifters. A Sport Mode changes shift points to improve acceleration. It all rolls on 19-inch wheels wrapped in all-season rubber. The exterior gets a hood bulge, LED head- and taillights, and a decklid spoiler. The Challenger GT also offers a $995-interior package different than RWD models, adding Nappa leather, Alcantara suede seats, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, performance steering wheel, and more. All of that is just window dressing. It's all-wheel drive that could be a difference-maker for consumers. The Challenger won't likely be able to take down the Mustang, which will finish 2016 as the pony car sales king.

2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.

1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
