So Here is what I am having up for auction. I have here a REAL, Genuine, "Dukes of Hazzard's", General Lee. Yes a real actual movie used stunt car. This car is not some Charger that someone just painted up to look like a General Lee. This car IS the actual car used to film the 'Freeway Jump Scene'. Owning this car is like owning an actual movie star. Because we all know the General Lee is the true star of the show. This Star Car was used for each shot of that jump. They used multiple cameras. NOT multiple cars. This IS the car they are doing a commentary on at the end of the DVD,  They show placing the dummies in this car and comment on this car at the end of the DVD in 'How to launch a car 175 feet'. They said this car Flew the farthest and the highest of all the jumps and survived. Even though it got crashed when it hit the cement divider wall. NOT when it landed. It is a survivor. They show all of that in the out takes. I have driven this car in two parades, so it can be driven. That scene will never, ever be done again. Owning this car IS owning a piece of history. This IS one big piece of movie memorabilia. Not just a hanky that some lady used or a shirt that some guy wore. Or not even some little movie prop. This is an Actual General Lee car. I cannot express it enough. Some little movie props are worth thousands of dollars even hundreds of thousands, just because they were sitting in the background of a scene. But this is the real star car.
This car does come with a letter of authenticity from the FX departments head CEO of 'Hazzardous Productions. If you have any more questions I will be more than happy to tell you and tell you the whole story!  The Car will also come with a letter, personally from John Wiser, Picture car buyer of Hazzardous Productions, L.L.C.  Indicating the selling and purchasing of the car to Warner Bros. Productions

PS THIS NOT THE RT/SE  This the 1970 made to look like a 1969  the car is in Wichita,KS

here are few articles or excerpts below: wiki

Two of the General Lees (a 1969 R/T SE and a 1970 made to appear as a 1969) were temporarily sold to Warner Brothers by Everett "J.R." Barton of Wichita, Kansas. The 1970 Charger was used to make the "freeway jump" during the police chase after Bo and Luke escaped from their Atlanta Police Department escorts; it had made the longest jump of any Lees that appeared on screen and fairly survived and is the only car seen making that jump. In the "outtakes" one other car is seen making a nosedive into the street and going into the guard rail. That car did not make it in the movie. J.R.'s car makes a fairly perfect landing; but then it veers off to the left into the center divider wall. This particular General Lee is once again in running condition and moving under its own power; it still wears its battle scars and can be seen at auto shows in the Midwest. The 1969 model was 'said' to have been used in one of the field driving scenes by the transportation director, because they were needing a car that was already distressed looking and it would be shot from the rear only, and could have been incorporated with the filming of the movie. Both cars were returned to him. The '69 in its original condition after filming wrapped, with the exception of parts that were swapped from his '69    as taken from the Wiki article

you can read a little about it in the Mopars collector guide or MCG..as well as august 2005 Hotrod magazine.. The Wichita Eagle newspaper

Junkyard 1983 Dodge Rampage has Franco-American roots

Mon, Jun 20 2016

Lee Iacocca and the K-Cars get most of the credit for saving Chrysler after the company's 1979 bailout by the US government, but the success of the Simca-derived Omnirizon platform was a large, if overlooked, component of Chrysler's early-1980s resurgence. The Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon were sold in the United States for the 1978 through 1990 model years, and variants included the 1983-1987 Dodge Charger and the Rampage, this well-worn example of which I spotted in a Denver self-service wrecking yard last week. The early Omnirizons came with a Volkswagen-sourced 1.7-liter engine, but all of the Rampage pickups (and their near-identical Plymouth Scamp siblings) came from the factory with a 2.2-liter K-Car engine making 96 horses. This truck has a 4-speed manual transmission, which would have made it reasonably quick by Malaise Era standards. This one had plenty of body filler and rust, even before the crash that sent it on that final tow-truck ride to this place, so it wouldn't have been worth restoring. Still, we can hope that some of its parts will live on in other L-body trucks. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with '600-plus horsepower' officially unveiled [w/video]

Tue, 20 May 2014

Dodge has officially unveiled the most powerful vehicle to ever wear the Challenger name - the SRT Hellcat - complete with over 600 horsepower courtesy of a supercharged, 6.2-liter Hemi V8. It will be offered alongside the 485-hp Challenger SRT.
The new, force-induced V8 isn't just the most powerful ever fitted to the Challenger, it's the most powerful eight-cylinder Chrysler Group has ever built. Power figures aren't finalized, so expect to see "over 600 hp" bandied about quite a lot. That fury will be channeled through either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. Yes, over 600 ponies through an eight-speed auto. So far, the only vehicle we know of that delivers more output through that many gears is the as-yet untested Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Sadly, we don't have performance metrics just yet, although if this thing can't crack four seconds to 60 miles per hour, we'll be pretty surprised.
As is the theme nowadays, the 2015 Challenger SRT features a number of driving modes, governing power output, shift speeds for the 8AT, steering effort, traction control settings and suspension settings. There are three pre-programmed options - Default, Sport and Track - and a Custom mode that allows drivers to mix and match to their heart's content.

Find these Star Wars-themed Dodge muscle cars near you

Sun, Dec 13 2015

Getting excited for the upcoming release of The Force Awakens? Well you're not alone. Aside from the legions of fans squeezing into their costumes to line up for the theatrical premier on December 18, Dodge has been roaming the streets of Los Angeles with three Star Wars-themed muscle cars. And you can track where they're going on Twitter. The trio includes a Charger and Challenger, both in SRT spec, with Hellcat engines, and wrapped to look like Stormtroopers from the First Order Legion like the Fiat 500e we saw at the LA show last month. They're joined by a Viper ACR done up in a black livery inspired by Kylo Ren – one of the villains in the upcoming sequel. The special squadron has been patrolling the streets of LA since Friday and will be through Monday. If you spot them, you can post their location to Twitter with the hashtags #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens – and if you haven't, you can see where others have in real time. As we go to press, they've already been spotted in Beverly Hills, at The Grove, and on Hollywood Boulevard. Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen cars used to promote Star Wars, or vice versa. Volkswagen famously channeled Darth Vader, Toyota used everyone's favorite droids to advertise the Prius PHEV, and Nissan used Stormtroopers to promote the Juke. Red Bull even had its whole team dressed up in costume at the 2005 Monaco Grand Prix. We doubt this will be the last time we'll see the Force propel itself on four wheels in our galaxy, either.
