This Charger is a good looking car. The engine and trans have approx. 750 miles on them the engine has a balanced reciprocating assembly w/ purple Mopar cam and we added a 5 planetary gear to the trans. New 3 row radiator, power steering pump, urethane bushings, hemi rear springs and torsion bars, welded in frame connectors, new brakes and cylinders with new lines up front, exhaust w/ H pipe, chrome tips, KYB shocks all 4 corners,   The seats have new foam and legendary skins, door panels that match. New chrome behind the door pulls with new handles. And a lot more that I can not remember. She's not perfect but not to far from it.

We have had this car in our family since 1991. It started out as a 318 2 barrel. In 2003 the power plant was upgraded to a 383 with .060 over bore, it has a 650 edelbrock  carburetor and heat shield under it. With a Mopar performance dual plane intake. The rear end has a set of 323 posi gears in it and is great on gas haha. It is a handful if your not use to "seat of the pants power". This has been a good car and would make a good weekend toy. The dash needs a restoration but every gauge is functional.

On the bad side the driver's side quarter panel has 2 cracks on the top hard to see but still there. At the very bottom of the both quarter there is small bubbles showing.
We have had a great season with this car but time changes a person and now its time for some who love Chargers to take her home. Thanks for looking!
At the end of the auction a 500.00 deposit will need to paid THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. So I do not have to pay again if  needed to re-list. After looking at the other Chargers for sale here I see I could  list at a higher price, but I'm not. This is an old car and deserves a nice garage to stay in though.
Thanks for looking and have a Blessed Day!

2015 Dodge Challenger looks fresh, still plenty retro [w/video]

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

It was the Ford Mustang that kicked off the retro-styled muscle car renaissance back in 2005, but it was the Dodge Challenger that served as the movement's poster child, with its unabashedly retro looks. Over the years, though, as the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro were freshened and upgraded, the look of the big Dodge has remained largely consistent since its 2008 debut. For 2015, the Challenger has received a big freshening, boasting strongly revised front and rear ends and (finally, finally, finally) a redesigned interior.
Let's talk about that new cabin first. It's basically been plucked directly from the redesigned Charger, and boasts the same seven-inch IP display. The center stack's miserable, last-gen display has been replaced by an expansive, 8.4-inch UConnect system. Material quality should see a solid boost with the new cabin, as well.
The exterior, meanwhile, sees a revised front fascia with LED halo lights, as well as new grille inserts. A functional shaker hood scoop is a must-have extra on the V8 models, while the back of the car is highlighted by a new set of LED taillights that don't use the "Racetrack" design of Dodge's other models.

Marchionne on Alfa's US return, Dodge Dart's powertrain weakness and minivan plans

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

As a reporter covering an auto show, the one opportunity you never want to miss is going to the Sergio Marchionne press briefing.
"This undertaking to bring Alfa back is a one-shot deal... We are not going to do this twice."
There just aren't that many real characters left in the auto industry. Marchionne, who sits atop both Chrysler and Fiat, is not only one of the smartest execs in the business, but also the most frank. Herein, a sample of the quotable always-sweatered executive:

Coal-rolling Ram dually does tandem beer-shooting burnout with ATV in bed

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

Sometimes a video comes around that just makes you shake your head in disbelief. Take for example these guys from Nebraska in their dually diesel flatbed Ram, doing a smoky burnout. Lighting up the tires is nothing new, but these folks take things a step further by having another guy on an ATV in bed that is also smoking the tires. Finally, people are sitting on a couch in the bed taking the whole show in, as beer cans shoot out of the stacks.
There have been several stories recently about the scourge of rolling coal, i.e., diesel trucks modified to lay down a thick, black smoke screen, sometimes for vaguely political reasons. Whatever your opinion is on it, breathing in this much nasty stuff isn't exactly great for your health. Of course, it turns out that burning rubber is pretty awful, too. Both diesel and tire emissions contain cancer-causing Group 1 carcinogens. Combine them with the cigarette smoking here, and these guys are an oncologist's nightmare. Scroll down to take it all in for yourself. Warning, there is a little explicit language.
