This is a original 1966 charger that has been in storage since 1986...True barn find..Car was purchased from the second owner who has had the car since 1970.I purchased the car with the intention of restoring it but I do not have the time or money to do it right now.I just recently purchased the car and did not get the title, she was going to get a duplicated from ny.The old cars didn't have titles in new York they just transferred the actual registration back in the day,the inspection sticker on the car is from 1985.Im selling the car without the title right now but will give you the womans name who is handeling the estate and has power of attorney.Im selling the car as a parts car right now with NO TITLE..doesnt mean you cant get it from her it just will take some time ...NY motor vehicle is slow. Now about the car..first of all the car was put away in running condition back in "85" hasent been started since then, car was outside for 3 years prior to getting put in the garage.Unfortunatly this started the rusting process on it,the under carriage has a lot of rust and in my opinion cannot be fixed. The interior is all there and it has the center console, both front seats has rips and signs of wear...Rear seats and headliner are in great shape.car has the 383 motor with automatic. The parts are all in great shape if your taking them for another car..Radiator is original and perfect, both bumpers, grill, all the lights in rear, trim, wheel covers...Quarters are rusted on the bottom and fenders are rusted inside and has bubbdeled the paint outside.Im not a expert if theses are shot they just look really rusted to me,its just a shame that the frame has rust that has rotted through in parts, the body I know is easier to fix.Still has the protecto plate under the hood and the original jack and spare with instructions,i think those were really cool to have.Comes with 5 xtra tires that came with the car,im sure there just as old as the car but they had good tread.Thats about it any questions e mail me or call me on my cell 201-705-7584 ask for bill...SELLING WITH NO RESERVE..Car is located in toms river new jersey if you want to check it out.

Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill
Wed, 10 Sep 2014According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.

Hellcat no help to Fiat-Chrysler's bottom-of-the-pile mpg average
Wed, Oct 15 2014What, you expected the "fastest muscle car ever" to help fleetwide fuel economy? Nope, don't think that's going to happen. That means Fiat Chrysler will likely to continue to languish at the bottom of the heap when it comes to fleetwide fuel economy among the largest automakers serving the US, especially as the automaker starts to sell its Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. A few hundred Fiat 500E electric vehicles aren't going to turn the trend around. See, Chrysler has once again finished at the bottom of the list when it came to fleetwide fuel economy among automakers for 2014 model-year vehicles, according to a preliminary study by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Chrysler and Fiat had an average of 21.1 miles per gallon. That substantially lagged the overall 24.2 mpg average, but it was an increase from the company's 20.9 mpg average last year and the 20.1 mpg average two years prior. For 2014, General Motors had the second-worst fleetwide fuel economy at an even 22 mpg. Fiat Chrysler does say it's working on improving its fuel economy, according to Automotive News. The company plans on making its inline-four-cylinder and V6 engines smaller, and will sell more vehicles with eight- and nine-speed transmissions. Heck, there's even a plug-in hybrid version of the Chrysler Town & Country minivan in the works for late 2015, and the company can tout fuel-efficiency gains with the Chrysler 200 and Jeep Cherokee. We would be remiss if we didn't note that, compared to its muscle-car forefathers, the Hellcat actually performs pretty well at the pump. Last month, word got out that the 2015 Challenger Hellcat, equipped either with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission, got a combined fuel economy of 16 mpg. Heck, the automatic-tranny version got 22 mpg on the highway. And that's for a car with 707 horsepower and a 10-second quarter-mile time. Still, with the pedal floored, the car can burn a gallon and a half of fuel per minute. Ouch.
