Alpharetta, Georgia, United States
ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS, 2010 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8 LIMITED EDITON, LOADED WITH GOODIES....RARE B5 BLUE PEARL COLOR...6-SPEED WITH UNDER 3100 MILES!!
Plain and simple, this 2010 B5 Blue Pearl SRT8 Dodge Challenger looks Showroom New inside and out! What is truly amazing is that we just sold a different B5 2010 SRT8 Challenger that was almost identical to this one except it was an automatic and had 50 more miles on it. This one may be the lowest mileage B5 Challenger on the market, but regardless it is truly an awesome find for the next lucky owner...Maybe you?? This is truly a rare find!! Under 3100 miles, Low production color, 6-speed, every option, PLUS upgraded Chrome wheels!!! THIS MODERN MUSCLE CAR IS SURE TO BE A FUTURE COLLECTIBLE!! We recently acquired this B5 Gem from a great car guy in Wisconsin. He was a serious car enthusiast and has owned some amazing muscle cars over his years. He searched the market for quite a while for the nicest B5 Challenger he could find and bought this one in October with just 2850 miles on it. He ordered and installed the upgraded Chrome SRT8 Wheels and then, unfortunately, suffered a massive heart attack. Fortunately he is doing much better right now but with the bills mounting and the reality of life setting in, he knew this awesome Challenger was not going to get driven and enjoyed by him as planned so he decided to let it go along with a number of the classics from his collection. Very unfortunate for him, but extremely lucky for the next owner...Maybe you!!! If you have been thinking about adding an SRT8 Challenger to your collection then this is the one to have! This 6-Speed, Hemi powered modern muscle machine is truly in showroom condition and still smells like it did from day one! With such low mileage this Challenger has barely been broken in and still carries the remainder of the 5 year/100k mile power train warranty from the factory. This car was ordered completely loaded with all the options and the gorgeous SRT8 Chrome wheels were recently added. It is not uncommon for people to approach me in these new Challengers thinking it is actually a restored 1970's Challenger. It is a testament to the great job the designers at Dodge did to get the new version to resemble the old. I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video of it start up and running and an honest description to help you decide if this is the one for you. As I mentioned the body is basically flawless. I literally did not detect so much as a rock chip on the body of this Blue Pearl Beauty! The factory hood stripe has a carbon fiber look to it and looks awesome. The Chrome wheels really set this B5 Beauty off and give it the added bit of bling it deserves. If there were flaws to mention I would be happy to list them but I honestly did not see anything. Here is a photo tour of the body of this B5 beauty: The interior of this SRT8 smells showroom fresh and is also in near flawless condition. The leather and suede seats accented with blue leather stripe show essentially no wear and are extremely comfortable. Of course the seats are heated and the drivers seat has an 8 way power control. This SRT8 was ordered with the Preferred Package 22x which includes lots of extras including the Touch Screen Factory Navigation and upgraded Kicker SRT CD/DVD/MP3 stereo with subwoofer in the trunk that will absolutely blow the doors off when it is cranked up. If you enjoy your music you will love this system! Universal garage opener, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, steering wheel audio controls, connect phone with voice command and many more options surround you inside this luxury muscle machine! Rear seat looks like it was never sat on and the original floor mats look new. The trunk space is quite roomy and also looks brand new. We have both key fobs and the original manuals. Just like the exterior, this car look factory fresh inside as well. Take a look: One push of the On/Off Start Button on the dash unleashes the
thunderous roar from the 6.1 Liter Hemi pushing out 425 Horsepower. The 6-speed is the way to fly and this SRT8 will set you back in your seat just like the 440 Challenger from the
70?s did but this one adds luxury, safety and handling to the package. The Tremec TR-6060 6-speed shifts extremely smooth and you can drop it in 6th on the highway and get 28mpg , or run it hard stop light to stop light and have the time of your life! Reported
0-60 times of 4.9 seconds should be enough for most of you. If you can stay out
of the pedal during highway cruising you will be amazed how great the mileage
can be with 22-26 mpg being realistic. This B5 beauty was ordered with all the goodies including the Track Pack option and hill-holding assist. Remember, this SRT 8 has under 3050 miles on it
and has barely been broken in. This SRT8 is completely stock under the hood! The power is put to the ground via the 20? Upgraded Chrome SRT wheels with practically brand new rubber. Wheels are perfect with no curb rash! This future classic was never driven in the winter or the rain and was always kept in a climate controlled garage. Pampered and
Meticulously maintained, this Blue Pearl Challenger is ready to be driven

Takata airbag recall claims 209k Chrysler, Dodge vehicles
Fri, Dec 12 2014Chrysler is expanding the scope of its front passenger side Takata airbag inflator recall yet again to include 139,115 additional vehicles for a total of 208,783 units now needing these parts replaced. The latest campaign affects the passenger side inflators of the 2003-2005 Dodge Ram 1500, 2003-2005 Dodge Ram 2500, 2003-2005 Dodge Ram 3500, 2004-2005 Durango; 2005 Dakota pickup; 2005 Dodge Magnum and 2005 Chrysler 300 (pictured above), 300C and SRT8. It's limited to vehicles purchased or ever registered in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and the territories of American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, Saipan and the US Virgin Islands. The company expects owners to be notified by February 8. The automaker just expanded the replacement campaign last week to include passenger side inflators in 149,150 pickups from the 2003 model year. However, the parts are not the same. Chrysler says this recall is for the PSPI family of components versus SPI for the last one. The company is also not aware of any injuries or accidents in its vehicles from these potentially faulty inflators, and lab testing of 600 of them finds no issues. Despite this, Chrysler is repairing these models at the request of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Scroll down to read the company's full announcement of the initiative. Statement: Air-bag Inflator (Regional Field Action Expansion) December 12, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Chrysler Group is expanding an ongoing regional field action with a recall to replace front passenger-side air-bag inflators in an estimated 208,783 older-model vehicles originally purchased or ever registered in seven U.S. states and five territories. The vehicles are equipped with front passenger-side air-bag inflators from a product family code-named "PSPI." Chrysler Group is unaware of any injuries or accidents involving PSPI inflators of the type covered by this campaign, nor has a Chrysler Group investigation identified a defect in these components. Further, laboratory tests on nearly 600 such inflators did not result in any failures. The inflators affected by this campaign differ in design and construction from PSPI inflators used by other auto makers. They also benefited from a more robust manufacturing process. However, at the request of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Chrysler Group is expanding its replacement action beyond its original scope of Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S.
Daily Driver: 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
Tue, May 26 2015Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers who drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, reviewed by Greg Migliore. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: [00:00:00] Hey, everybody. It's Greg Migliore and today I am driving a 707-horsepower Dodge Charger. That can only mean one thing: I'm driving the Hellcat. Naturally, the spotlight feature of this car is the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. Makes 707 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque. [00:00:30] Now naturally the engine sounds great and you can hear all of those horses going out the exhaust in back, which I think the Dodge guys have tuned really well. I think it's got one of the more unique sounds in the industry. All that horsepower will do that, but they've tuned it so there's a low kind of growl, and then it burbles and it's angry [00:01:00], it's visceral. I like it. It's intoxicating. It's different than other muscle cars. It's different than European exotics. I think it sounds great. I'm driving in sport right now which allows me to use the paddle shifters. I think it sounds a little better and the shifts of the eight-speed automatic transmission are a little bit more aggressive. For such a powerful car, Dodge did a nice job of tuning it to be actually pretty drivable. I just took a corner right there and the [00:01:30] steering offers you satisfying weight to your inputs. It's a little bit of a heavier steering, especially compared to some of the earlier generation Chargers. It's sporty, but it's not crazy. The design of the Dodge Charger is a critical element. That's why a lot of people buy this car, is it gives them that muscle car heritage look. The Hellcat has some special design cues that are also functional. You've got a couple of extra air intakes up front, keeps everything cool and breathing, the air flowing through; a nice spoiler in back [00:02:00] that helps keep the aero, and the downforce keeps you on the ground. The HID projector headlights really pop, especially at night, and in back you've got the LED taillights that spread out wide across the back end of this car like some of the great Chargers of the past. This car rolls on 20-inch black wheels with a spiderweb design. I think they look good. They're kind of low-key, which I think is great.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.
