2010 Dodge Challenger R/t Coupe 2-door--srt8 Wheels And Interior on 2040-cars
Omaha, Nebraska, United States
We are selling my wifes loved 2010 Dodge Challenger RT with only 13,800 miles. This was my wifes daily driver in the summer months, and was parked over the winter. It has the 5.7 Hemi engine and automatic Trans with only 16k miles on it!! The car runs and drives perfectly and has been inspected/serviced by Dodge. I have installed an SLP exhaust on the car, and it sounds great, not too loud but gives a great rumble. There is also a K&N intake installed. It has the SRT8 392 wheels and tires on it, that ran me over $2500. It also has a full SRT8 interior in it with heated seats. The car has the high end Mytouch stereo system with Navigation, DVD, built in hard drive, XM satellite, and upgraded amps and speakers from dodge. It has the sunroof as well. The interior is in perfect shape, with no cuts or tears in the leather or carpet. There is one tiny knick on the passenger door panel(about the size of a ballpoint pen). I had the car undercoated, paint protection applied, and interior scotch guarded by a company in town. It carries a 10 year warranty. The exterior of the car is in great shape as well. There are a few minor dings and scratches around the car, but nothing major. The car was in a front end accident prior to us getting it last year, but the current title is clear. It was inspected by the sheriffs department in town after it was fixed to ensure it was done correctly. The air bags did not deploy, and there was not any frame damage. All work was performed by a certified body shop. We love this car, and would drive it anywhere. We are only selling it to further the modifications on our 2006 Corvette and possibly purchase an SRT8 392. Please feel free to call or text me at 4zero2-320-9891 with any questions you may have. I am more than willing to let any potential buyers have the car inspected by Dodge if it is wanted, it will pass with flying colors. The car is located in Omaha, NE. It is the buyers responsibility to arrange to pick up the vehicle or have it transported. I will assist in any way I can. kbb VALUES OF 27-29K BETWEEN PRIVATE AND DEALER!!! When I have sold my other sports cars, I have picked up the buyers at Epply Air Field in town.

Total auto recalls already on record pace in 2014
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you've noticed that there have been more recalls than usual this year, you may be on to something. According to a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the US market is on pace to break a record for recalls. In 2013, 22 million cars were recalled. We're only a third of the way through 2014, though, and we've already halved that figure, with 11 million units recalled. That's wild.
Considering the past few months, it shouldn't be a surprise that General Motors is leading the charge, with six million of the 11 million units recalled coming from one of the General's four brands. Between truck recalls, CUV recalls and the ignition switch recall, 2014 hasn't been a great year for GM.
Other recall leaders include Nissan (one million Sentra and Altima sedans), Honda (900,000 Odyssey minivans), Toyota (over one million units in a few recalls), Volkswagen (150,000 Passat sedans), Chrysler (644,000 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs) and most recently, Ford (434,000 units, the bulk of which were early Ford Escape CUVs). So while it's been a bad year for GM so far, its competitors aren't doing too well, either.
Man hits 153 mph on I-75 in Dodge Magnum
Tue, May 19 2015A man driving in Michigan took his 2005 Dodge Magnum practically to the limit in the wee hours of the morning on May 19 when the Michigan State Police caught him on radar going 153 miles per hour on Interstate 75 near Detroit. The 21-year-old driver was spotted around 3:00 AM, according to The Detroit News. Michigan State Police First Lieutenant Michael Shaw told Autoblog that officers initially saw the man on radar doing 79 mph in a 70-mph-zone, and they started following him. He eventually clocked 153 mph. However, First Lt. Shaw was clear that there was never a pursuit. "Speeding isn't necessarily a reason to put the public at risk," he said. The situation ended rather abruptly, though. The driver pulled off the interstate and behind a building. He remained in the vehicle, and police arrived and arrested him. According to First Lt. Shaw, the man was driving home from work and alcohol wasn't a factor. The Magnum has been impounded, and the driver was charged with reckless driving. Unfortunately, First Lt. Shaw said that he didn't know what engine was in the wagon, but as enthusiasts, we're curious. After all, the 2005 Magnum RT was governed to 130 mph and the SRT8 wasn't unleashed until 2006, which means either the wagon must've been derestricted to hit such high speeds or that police have the year wrong. We'll let you know if we figure that one out...
Chrysler recalling 49K Chargers for headlight components
Fri, 14 Mar 2014Chrysler has issued a recall for about 49,375 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers with halogen headlamps due to a problem with the lights. The automaker says that there could be an issue with the jumper harness and other related components.
The automaker says that 43,450 cars are affected in the US, 2,850 in Canada, 375 in Mexico and 2,700 outside of North America. The vehicles will have their headlight assemblies, including the jumper harnesses and bulbs, inspected and potentially replaced. Dodge says that its engineers investigated reports of that were similar to what was found when it recalled about 10,000 police Chargers in 2012 for overheating light components. There have been no injuries or accidents related to fault, according to Chrysler.
The automaker will be in contact with affected owners, and schedule the service. Naturally, any repairs will be free of charge. Scroll down for the company's full announcement.
