You are looking at a 1974 Dodge Challenger. We are selling this "as-is, where-is" for the owner on consignment. The car is in very good shape. It was a 5-6 year restoration that was done right. The body is straight and the paintwork is very nice. The color is a really sharp dark metallic purple. It does have a few very tiny "dings" or marks on the hood that were there before painting and are not very noticeable (see pics). The frame is in very good shape, and there is very little rust and no holes. It has very nice American Racing rims and the tires are in excellent shape. The engine was replaced from the original 383 to a 440. It starts right up and runs and drives great. It has a 3 speed automatic transmission with a Turbo Action Cheetah SCS shifter - fast and smooth. Also equipped with an Edlebrock intake and a high-volume fuel pump. The interior is original and in very good shape. No rips, tears or stains. It also had a new stereo put in (attached below the original which is still in the car) with new speakers and an amp, but it is not hooked up. The odometer is showing only 13,653 miles, but it is titled as "miles exempt." The title is clean. The original manual is included. If you're looking for a fast, sharp, classic American muscle car at a great price, bid now!

We are selling this car on consignment. The owner has a nice collection of classic cars that he is being forced to sell because of some unexpected medical problems. He has asked that we list his name and phone number. Please call Frank at (814) 525-9438 with any questions. Inspections and test drives can also be arranged.

We can arrange for delivery of this vehicle almost anywhere. Please contact us and let us know your delivery needs.

As the dealership selling the car we will be handling the payment and transfer. No paypal scammers please! We have fully inspected the vehicle and have honestly listed everything we have found, but sometimes things can be missed. No warranties or guarantees of any kind should be inferred by our opinions about the vehicle in the description. Please look at the pictures and read the description carefully before committing to a purchase by bidding. Thanks for your interest and good luck!

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.

2013 Dodge Dart GT

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

My younger brother bought a Dodge Dart earlier this summer. It's a basic SXT, in Maximum Steel Metallic, with the 2.0-liter engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and not a whole lot else. Unfortunately, at the time, the Dart was one of the few cars in the compact class I'd never driven. I didn't know a lot about it, and therefore, didn't have a lot to say when he bought it. I think the words "based on an Alfa," popped out when I first saw it.
As it turns out, he's grown quite fond of the dark gray sedan, so it was with some degree of enthusiasm that I paid him a visit in this bright-orange Dart GT. I was excited to see what it was about the Dart that he enjoyed so much, despite my tester featuring a different engine, transmission and a lot more tech. After a week with the car, though, I must say: I don't quite see what all the fuss is about.
