You are bidding on a 1973 Challenger. It was appraised 3 years ago for 20,000 before the engine fire. The car was purchased from the insurance company. The car is VERY solid and I don't see any rust under the car(floor pans,frame rails,wheel house's,etc) The car was restored in 2005 for 8800 dollars.The only rust I see on the car is a little bubbling on rear sides of quarter panels(easily fixable) The body on the car is VERY straight. They did a nice job when restoring and painted all the jambs(doors,trunk,etc). The interior is still all original and easily restorable. The parts damaged on the car are the following hood,front grill assembly,windshield, and dash. The door panels will clean up. I purchased this car to install a late model drive train and just have too many irons in the fire right now so I have decided to it. This car could be fixed in a week with the parts. MotorWeek revisits the awesome, original Dodge Viper

Not only does the video feature the now-famous, original Dodge Viper, but this is also a chance to watch one lapping Pocono International Raceway in a test of track prowess. This segment was MotorWeek's first chance to unleash the Viper around a racecourse, and the show took advantage of the opportunity. In addition to the usual 0-60 mph and quarter-mile tests, the 400-horsepower V10 is let loose to do lap after lap. The clip offers a great dose of nostalgia and is worth a watch to remember the intense enthusiasm surrounding the Viper at the time.
NHTSA investigating Chrysler for airbags, ignition switches
Wed, 18 Jun 2014Chrysler is being targeted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in a pair of actions that focus on over 1.2 million Jeeps, minivans and crossovers.
The first is a "preliminary investigation" that focuses on an airbag issue afflicting the Jeep Commander built in model years 2006 and 2007 and Grand Cherokee from 2005 to 2006. In total, 700,000 vehicles could potentially be affected. It's not entirely clear what the airbag issue is, with The Detroit Free Press simply stating that the restraint systems in the affected Jeeps may be "faulty."
The other investigation is what's called a "recall query" and it covers a problem that General Motors should be familiar with. In this case, there could be a problem with the ignition switches of 525,000 vehicles, ranging from 2008 to 2010 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans, to the 2008 to 2010 Dodge Journey crossover. Again, it's not entirely clear what sort of behavior prompted the 32 complaints that NHTSA has received on these vehicles.

Fri, Mar 27 2015We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
