For sale is our friends 1987 Dodge Caravan Handicap Minivan. She no longer has use for it as she has purchased a later model handicap van from a local private seller. The van has low original miles and drives without any problems. The tires have lots of tread. The paint is poor. The body has some dings and minor dents typical of a vehicle of this age. There are some rust bubbles coming through the paint at the bottom of the power side door. I believe this is due to a lack of weep holes or poor design by the conversion company as this is a custom part. There is no other rust on the vehicle. The A/C has been converted from R12 refrigerant (which is very expensive and hard to find) to R134 refrigerant and blows cold but not ice cold. The power handicap door and ramp work as they should. I have no idea of what happened to the passenger's front seat, but this is the area that our friend parked her power chair when we chauffeured her around town. Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat #0001 raises $825,000 for charity

But, according to the official SRT blog, that's how much one generous and eager buyer paid for the privilege of getting his (or her) hands on the very first new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Decked out in Stryker Red paint that's usually reserved for the Viper, the supercharged Challenger bearing the VIN 0001 went up for auction at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino in Las Vegas on Saturday under the auspices of Barrett-Jackson. By the time bidding ended, the gavel dropped at $825,000 - nearly 14 times the sticker price - 100 percent of which will benefit Opportunity Vehicle, a charity that aids the intellectually handicapped in the Las Vegas Area.
