2008 Dodge Viper coupe, Snake Skin Green with stripe delete, H spoke wheels.  Overall the car is in very good shape.  I am the second owner.  To be clear, Autocheck does show 2 "events".  The actual report, which I have and can email to someone that is interested states that on 03/19/2009 "accident or vehicle damage reported".  Then on 11/18/2009 the report states "State Agency, accident reported, event date is date reported to autocheck" The vehicle, to my knowledge, was not involved in multiple wrecks.  There is no frame damage and no major structural components were damaged. The absolute worst thing on the car is a small crack in the passenger side back bumper (see close up picture).  It is very small and if I hadn't mentioned it, you would have never seen it.  The car is clean and in very good shape...as you can see by the pictures.  It turns a lot of heads everywhere and people always stop and take pictures of it.  It is completely stock other than a replacement KN drop in filter.  I still have the factory filter in a box.  I also have a Covercraft Weathershield HP car cover for it  These covers typical run around $350.  Car stays in the garage and is only driven on nice days..never sees rain, road salts, snow, etc...  Rear gear lube and transmission fluid changed last summer with AMSoil synthetics.  Tires are still in very good shape as well.

This car does NOT have a salvage title.  The title is clear

Let me know if you have any questions.

I am not interested in trades.  I'm selling this because I have other projects that I need to finish.

2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop glosses over performance

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

The Dodge Dart is a decent little car. It's honest, basic transportation, and many of us at Autoblog are genuinely fond of the Alfa Romeo-based compact sedan. For 2014, not a whole lot changes in the Dart world, save the addition of this new Blacktop edition that makes its debut here at the Detroit Auto Show.
It's all very simple, this Blacktop package, and doesn't actually alter performance in any way. Instead, buyers are treated to blacked-out exterior bits like 18-inch wheels, the crosshair grille and headlamp bezels. Inside, black/tungsten or black/red cloth seats are available, with red contrast stitching throughout the cabin.
Adding the Blacktop pack to your Dart SXT with the Rallye Appearance Group will set you back a scant $295, and while it's just an appearance package, it all looks pretty nice to us.

Star Wars Episode VII ad is a force for Dodge

Fri, Dec 18 2015

Happy Star Wars day! Some of you might be bleary eyed and begging for coffee after attending midnight screenings of Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens last night (*raises hand*) but the show must go on. And for Dodge, that show has been all about Star Wars. While the entirety of FCA joined the tie-in marketing campaign for the long-awaited JJ Abrams blockbuster, Dodge made out the best. According to Wards Auto, the brand's The Force Gathers spot took the top spot in this week's most engaging automotive ads, capturing nearly a quarter of share-of-voice ratings and garnering over a quarter-of-a-million earned online views. Since the ad began airing earlier this month, it's scored over 430,000 views on YouTube alone. The relatively simple ad evokes Darth Vader and his legions of storm troopers. In the 30-second spot, a black Viper leads six long columns of white Chargers, Challengers, and Durangos while John Williams' iconic Imperial March blares in the background. It ends at the stand of an overwhelmed pair of valets outside a screening for Episode VII. We've embedded the spot at the top of the page if you haven't seen it. Check it out, and may the Force be with you. Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens is in theaters today. Related Video:

Detroit Auto Show prankster 'damages' hundreds of thousands of dollars of cars

Thu, Jan 29 2015

Obtaining credentials for an auto show is generally a pretty selective process, especially at one of the world's premier shows, like Geneva, Los Angeles or Detroit. That didn't stop online prankster Dennis Roady from getting credentialed for the 2015 North American International Auto Show on behalf of a Russian YouTube channel to cover the show. While he wasn't brought on strictly to cause mischief, Roady couldn't help but have some fun at the expense of the product specialists during the serious business of covering the show. He took to an app called "Dude, Your Car," which allows Apple iPhone users to take snaps of vehicles and then edit them to add some serious, but fake, dents and scratches. Naturally, the pranking session was caught on video, where you can enjoy the sight of poor product specialists freaking out over damage to vehicles ranging from the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to the Audi R8 and a lovely Dodge Challenger. Take a look. News Source: howtoPRANKitup via YouTube, The Detroit News Humor Detroit Auto Show Audi Dodge Mercedes-Benz Coupe Luxury Performance Videos Sedan 2015 Detroit Auto Show prank
