From our private collection here in Mobile, Alabama is this awesome " One Adult Owner " 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible. Perfect Clear Title on this car!!! It is one of the few that "does not" have a salvage title, wrecked title, re-built title, etc.etc. She is as straight up as you will find, adult owned its entire life and I have the CarFax to prove it. If you are a serious buyer I will fax you the CarFax. This car has never had any "paint work" done. Sold new in South Carolina.
I have the "Original Window Sticker" and original glove box manuals. This car when new had a sticker price of $89,640 !! Born Viper Black with the matching interior and soft top. The owner purchased a custom made fiberglass Landau Cover that hides the soft top with it is down, this is a very cool option for these cars!! See photos please. It also comes with the custom Viper Front Bra too!! The "Original Viper Floor Mats" are still in the original bag, they have never been used!! It has all the equipment that it is supposed to have with the addition of the $3000.00 extra cost Silver Stripes and the extra cost Polished Aluminum Wheels. It has just been serviced at 30,373 miles. Michelin Pilot Radials are front and back. I deal in old classic cars and I got this car last week as a trade in on a 57 Chevy Bel Air Nomad. I don't usually deal in newer model cars as they are not my passion and that is why this Viper is for sale. I have owned many Vipers since they first came out and this is the nicest one owner Viper I have ever had!! Car is very slick. Looks like it is maybe a year old. Please look at the photos of the bottom of this car! I always run a CarFax on any late model I get. It showed an accident in 2011. The owner said he had parked the car in a parking lot and a pickup truck easily backed up and the bumper hit the tail light. The owner did not want to drive the car to the shop with a busted tail light so he made the other persons insurance company pay for a flatbed hauler to have it repaired! I have the original copy of the repair bill from Franks Body Shop in Columbia, South Carolina, total bill was $1296.00. Repair bill states " needed no paint work, replace tail light lens and bulbs " Look at the photo of the factory plastic still on the gas pedal! The seats are just a nice as when it was new. I have a very reasonable price on this car being in such immaculate condition and a true "One Owner Viper". This car is better than my photos show. I am a licensed dealer in the State of Alabama and all paperwork will be transferred to the new owner when funds have cleared our bank. Please send your inspector or come yourself and see just how nice this car is. I am only 5 minutes from the Mobile Regional Airport ( MOB ). If you fly in I can pick you up, let you look, take you back. Cannot remove the car from our secure lock-up until funds clear, its just business. It can be stored in our secure lock-up insured by me until you can pick it up. Sold as Is with No Warranty expressed or implied but the car is exactly like I say it is. Check my feedback please. This Viper is in pristine condition and it's a huge bang for the buck!! Please call Dennis Lasseter, Jr. if you have any questions and want to make a close offer. I cannot hold this car. I will be glad to put a buy it now that we both agree on if that is what you choose to do. My personal cell is 251-769-1639, please call between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm central time Thanks for looking at my 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible and again don't hesitate to call me if you need additional information. My emails are slow to answer, sorry! No need to pay for that report. If you are a serious buyer I can fax that to you also with the CarFax report. Just trying to help and there is absolutely nothing to hide on this car. It is truly in beautiful condition! Thanks Dennis |

2013 Dodge Charger AWD Sport
Tue, 29 Jan 2013We won't beat around the bush: The all-wheel-drive Dodge Charger is not a brand new car. This generation launched in 2011, AWD models and all. But for 2013, Chrysler has added an optional sport package to the AWD model, available with both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the sweet, sweet 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The upgrades for this new sport pack are mainly cosmetic; a gloss black grille, new 19-inch alloy wheels and body-colored rear spoiler make up the list of exterior changes. Inside, there are new sport seats and paddle shifters, and the eight-speed automatic transmission has been reflashed for better performance.
But because vehicles like the Dodge Charger mainly stick out in our minds as being rear-drive bruisers, Chrysler wanted to give us the opportunity to test out the LX platform's foul-weather prowess. And perhaps no place more appropriate to test such a system was way up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the dead of winter.

Dodge, Hyundai crowdsourced-funding sites deemed successes
Wed, 05 Jun 2013What's not to love about crowdsourcing? This idea, after all, has given us Kickstarter as well Local Motors, but automakers are starting to use the social platform to sell more cars (or just drum up a little PR). Both Dodge and Hyundai have used "crowd-funding" recently, and while Automotive News is reporting that neither has racked up big sales with this gimmick, both automakers are pleased with the attention.
For Hyundai, it teamed up with website Motozuma.com to help customers crowdsource money for a down payment, and the automaker matched this amount up to $500. Last year, this helped Hyundai sell an extra 1,600 units, a fraction of its total 2012 sales. That figure is far larger than Dodge fared with the Dodge Dart Registry - it netted only two sales and a small number of individual options. This registry did help University of Southern California fraternity crowdsource $18,000 to buy a Dart for a local Meals on Wheels, however. Despite the low sales figures, Dodge and Hyundai are considering their crowdsourcing programs a success since it helped them connect with younger buyers.
Highway To Hellcat: Dallas to Vegas with 2,000 HP
Thu, Jan 15 2015Fort Davis, TX. Early November. Late Sunday afternoon. The 1,200 residents of this small town are using their day of rest to quietly enjoy the breeze rolling off the hills. There's an older couple walking down the street, holding hands. A young lady working at a general store, where milkshakes and antacids are purchased at the same counter. It's a peaceful, quaint scene, right down to the tumbleweed rolling across the street and the rickety wooden porches outside the old storefronts. I hit the throttle of the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat while turning left onto the road leading toward the town square, sending the sedan's rear end swinging to the right with a few puffs of rubbery smoke. I coast down to the 25-mile-per-hour speed limit and spot the line of Challengers, Chargers, and Vipers in my rear-view mirror, the drivers all mimicking my quick jolt of enthusiasm before pulling up the reigns on their V8s and V10s and idling into Fort Davis. Our posse would roll some 5,000 horsepower of pure American muscle into that small Texas town that day. It was only the first stop on an epic journey that would take us from Dallas to Las Vegas, on a winding route down toward El Paso, up through New Mexico, Arizona, and finally north into Nevada, ending at the ritzy Palazzo casino and hotel on the Vegas strip. It was an opportunity to see parts of America I never knew existed, and a chance to bond with some American cars that until recently, I sort of failed to understand. And most importantly it was an opportunity to drive really, really hard. Charging Through Texas Unless you've driven across it, it's hard to understand the massive space that is Texas. In places, scanning 360 degrees of horizon reveals absolutely nothing. Nothing. On its own, driving from Dallas to El Paso covers some 630 miles. Veer south to Fort Davis and you'll add another 70 onto that, not including the 75-mile Davis Mountain Scenic Loop where I found bliss behind the wheel of this insanely powerful sedan. I always expected to like the Charger Hellcat – comfortable seating for four (five in a pinch), equipped with the latest tech, wrapped in a stylish yet muscular body, like a quarterback in a tux. And it moves. The supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 pumps out 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, which makes for one quick sedan, especially considering its heft.
