I purchased the car from Palmer Dodge in GA. As far as I know I am the second owner. The hood is not the original hood to the car. The hood on it now is a 2008-2010, that is what is was told. I was also told by dealer Palmer Dodge the 1st owner was the president of the Viper association and he had this OEM 2008 hood painted and striped to match, costing $3k. I did have the original 2006 hood shipped to me with the car. The original hood I mounted on the wall but I accidentally bumped it and it fell, cracking it rendering it useless. I also purchased a service contract (warranty) when I bought the car but never used it. The contract expires: 11/09/13 or 50.000 miles. I called to verify that it was transferable and it is for a $50 transfer fee (except in the state of New Hampshire). I have a copy of the transfer form attached to the policy. The Viper always has passed emissions testing which is required in my county and garaged at all times. It comes with the OEM Dodge Viper navigation system/CD player installed by the dealer. Plus I also have the original multi-cd changer/radio that originally came with the car. Plus Dodge Viper car cover in carry bag as pictured and custom matching floor mats.

eBay Find of the Day: 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 with 504 miles

With just 504 miles on the odometer (according to the description and not the images) and "no defects at all," this 1994 Viper is a rare find indeed. Tack on the Buy It Now price of just $37,500 and it seems like a steal - especially when checking out the prices and conditions of other early Vipers currently listed on eBay.
Even after spending months ogling the all-new 2014 SRT Viper, it's hard to ignore the raw beauty of the original open-top model. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." Chrysler recalling 2009-2010 Ram 1500, Dodge Dakota pickups over axle pinion nut
Mon, 08 Oct 2012Chrysler is issuing a recall for the 2009 and 2010 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota pickup trucks due to improper installation of the rear axle pinion nut. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a total of 44,300 trucks are affected by the recall, and there have been 12 confirmed incidents including one crash.
The issue on both trucks is that the pinion nut is loosening on some trucks due to a lack of thread adhesive, and it is causing the rear axle to lock up resulting in loss of vehicle control. NHTSA's recall notice says that eight incidents occurred at speeds over 35 miles per hour and most also exhibited driveshaft failures as well since the loss of the pinion nut would cause the gear to separate from the driveshaft. In one complaint, the driveshaft separated from the rear axle and punctured the gas tank.
