Up for sale is my pride and joy, the legendary 1997 Blue/White GTS Viper. I just don't drive the car and it
doesn't do the car justice just sitting all the time. I do take it around the block every two weeks to keep seals
in check and have a battery tender on it while not in use. I have the clean/clear title in hand, no liens. These
cars will be future collectibles and clean, bone stock/unmodified, low mile cars are already appreciating in value.
This one is low enough miles that you can still drive/enjoy while still preserving your investment. Mechanically,
the car runs and drives perfect. Engine runs extremely strong, transmission shifts extremely smooth and clutch
catches promptly with no slippage. Cosmetically the car is in excellent shape. The only imperfections are bubbling
on the two side sills.....a sign that there is no previous repair there as ALL Gen II GTS vipers do this due to the
routing of the exhaust pipes. The front tires have good tread but are getting up there in age and the rear tires
will need replacement. Interior is very clean and has never been smoked in.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.

Dodge to sell off first Challenger SRT Hellcat for charity

Want to get your hands on a new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and can't wait to be the first to get one? Las Vegas will be the place to be on September 27. That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the very first example. And you'd better bring your checkbook, because the bidding is sure to be fierce with all the proceeds going to charity.
The supercharged Challenger with VIN 0001 has been hand-painted in Stryker Red (usually reserved for the Viper) and features special badging, documentation and accompanying memorabilia - not to mention, of course, that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. The car will be on display this weekend as well at Barrett-Jackson's Hot August Nights auction in Reno.
