Up for auction is the 2013 GTAV Bravado Banshee coupe from GameStop's PowerUp Rewards™ Epic Rewards Giveaway™.
It was commissioned by Rockstar Games to become a Bravado Banshee, one of the most iconic cars in the Grand Theft Auto games and modifications were completed by West Coast Customs (who also have a TV show on Fox Sports 2). This is a one-of-a-kind, one-in-the-world car. This is the first ever car created to represent a car in a video game by the game company. This GTAV Bravado Banshee is as rare and special as any celebrity or movie car. It is a scary fast and loud sports car that turns heads everywhere it goes and draws a crowd if it stops! It has custom body modifications, original cast rims, full trunk stereo system and many other features. I have also added a gel battery, keyed battery disconnect and hidden external battery maintainer points. It began life as a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 that has been modified both inside and out to look like the Bravado Banshee in the Grand Theft Auto video game series. West Coast Customs made MAJOR body modifications, added custom molded Forgiator wheel rims, custom stitching to the dash, floormats and seats, updated to a huge sound system and gave it all a beautiful paint scheme. This is one fantastic looking car! The ARV of this vehicle is $180K. The current odometer is actually 7298 (the title is actually wrong, but I will continue to drive it until it sells). The stereo system is a Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH that includes CD/DVD/Navigation/SD card and I-pod/bluetooth inputs. It also acts as a BlueTooth hands free phone with a microphone located near the driver. Rockstar Games has also provided an extended warranty to cover the vehicle that is transferable to the next owner. Some information from the Rockstar Games site: Ever since its debut as the getaway car in the opening moments of Grand Theft Auto III,
the Bravado Banshee has been a symbol of the ultimate American sports
car. With its aggressive, oversized styling and powerful engine, it
became a mainstay as one of the most sought after high-performance rides
from coast to coast - from Liberty City all the way to Los Santos... Significant work went into creating this real world version of the 2013 model featured in Grand Theft Auto V.
Utilizing state-of-the-art fabrication technologies, molds for the
exterior were cut and machined piece-by-piece for the high performance
base vehicle. With these molds each panel was laid out by hand to create
an entirely new exterior resulting in a screen accurate reproduction of
the Banshee. The result is a one-of-kind supercar worthy of
representing the Banshee's heritage and a tribute to some of the deep
customization options you'll find in the Los Santos Customs shops of GTA V, where you can equip and style your vehicles with a wide range of visual and performance-based enhancements. GameStop offered the chance to win this one-of-a-kind vehicle as part of the PowerUp Rewards™ Epic Rewards Giveaway™ |

2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Drivers' Notes | Wide awake
Fri, Sep 21 2018Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore — I've always wondered how Dodge would evolve the Challenger. There was only one real generation, not counting the rebadged Mitsubishi. Past and present, it's always looked the same. With the Hellcat, Demon, and now my personal favorite, the Hellcat Redeye Widebody, it makes total sense. There's no need to redesign it every few years. Just tweak it and add cool features — like flared fenders and the 797-hp Hellcat engine. It's all you need. This thing makes a statement. The Redeye is the car your neighbors want a ride in. I parked in our office building's basement, and co-workers heard me gunning the engine — two stories up. It's a growl. It has bass. It's angry. It gets a little metallic sometimes, depending on how and when you lay on the gas. I launched fairly hard at every traffic light. Sometimes I'd rev at idle. The Monroney that came with our test car lists the fuel economy as zero (it actually gets 13 city and a respectable 22 highway). But still. You get the point. I've always liked how the Challenger drives. It's big. It's heavy. The hood looks like the deck of an aircraft carrier. It's not trying to be a track rat. Go fast in a straight line. That's what you do. Take a hard left and maybe you skid a little bit. Maybe that's the idea. You don't eat cheeseburgers because they're good for you. You eat them because they taste good. Hey, cheeseburgers have protein. And vitamins. Healthy isn't the right description, but there are some benefits. The same reasoning applies to this Challenger. The interior is attractive, well-furnished and comfortable. The leather-trimmed seats are supportive. I love the saddle brown color. I used to say the coupe's low roof and bulky A-pillars were a problem. Then I got over that. You're driving nearly 800 hp, so sit up and be on your toes. The trunk is huge, too. I could have put a car seat in the back, had I needed to. You can live with the Challenger. And the Redeye is perhaps the best version yet. The starting price is about $60 grand. That's a steal. The price of our tester is $92,290. That's insane. The $6,000 widebody pack is the thing I'd recommend most out of all the options. Get the nice leather, too. This content is hosted by a third party. Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars
Fri, 05 Sep 2014There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.
As Dodge Challenger changes, hybrid or however else, it's sure to stay retro
Thu, Aug 15 2019Unverified rumors claim Dodge will make major technical changes to the Charger and the Challenger (pictured) to comply with looming regulations. They'll likely be lighter than they currently are, they could get smaller in nearly every direction, and you can safely bet that they'll incorporate some degree of electrification. The retro-inspired, heritage-laced design is here to stay, however. Mark Trostle, Dodge's horsepower-addicted chief of design, told Muscle Car & Trucks that looks deserve a big chunk of credit for making the Charger and the Challenger as popular as they are. Horsepower and quarter-mile times help sell cars, but it's the "magic of their design" that lures buyers into showrooms to check out the modern-day muscle cars in the metal. "I wouldn't want to ruin something that's been so successful for us," Trostle concluded. He compared the Challenger to the Jeep Wrangler, another design icon in the Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) portfolio. The offroader entered its fourth generation in 2018; every part of it is new, and it's not a Xerox copy of its predecessor, but it's still immediately recognizable as a Wrangler. Trostle hinted he's planning this type of evolutionary design for the next-generation Challenger. After all, it's part of the company's history, and heritage is something no amount of money can buy. While it sounds like development work on the next-generation Challenger is ongoing, Dodge isn't finished with the current-generation car yet. The nameplate will celebrate its 50th birthday during the 2020 model year, and it's reasonable to assume Dodge has something special planned for it.
