Up for sale is my 2005 Dodge Stratus R/T. First let me say that this vehicle is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction early as long as the reserve has not been met. Next, I encourage any serious buyers to come see the vehicle in person, take a test drive, etc. The car has no major dents or scratches, the only exterior flaw is the drivers side headlight cover shows some discoloration near the top edge. The seats and interior are not torn and are in excellent condition with the exception of the center dash vent which is slightly separated and lifting around the vent. This is shown in the pictures. I have been told it can be fixed by a body shop. Every option works as it should, air blows cold, etc. The tires are light on tread and have some cracking of the rubber. All hold air, but the passenger's side front leaks and needs to be filled weekly.(not sure if it is the bead or not) I am the second owner of this car and have used it as a second vehicle for my family. I now have a company car and no longer have the need for this one. The maintenance has always been kept up and I have only used synthetic oil. The battery was replaced last year. I was going to replace the tires, but I figured I would put it up with a lower reserve and let whomever bought it put the tires they want on it.(performance or touring) I am requiring a non-refundable $200.00 down payment within 24 hours of the auction conclusion and the rest in cash when you pick it up. I am not selling junk, this is a low mileage, excellent running car with a clean title in search of a new home. A note about the mileage, it may change as I am offering people the ability to test drive the car, so don't give me a hard time if it is not exactly 35,100 on the odometer when you come to get it. The gas mileage varies on how you drive, but generally I got around 25 mpg. I am selling this car as is with no warranty either expressed or implied. I have done my best to describe the vehicle but if I missed anything please contact me with your questions.

Is Mopar readying a special-edition Dart for Chicago?
Sat, 26 Jan 2013Chrysler has released the above teaser of a limited-edition Mopar 2013 model that will be unveiled at next month's Chicago Auto Show. Although the automaker doesn't announce what vehicle will get the Mopar treatment, closer investigation of the seats and center console suggest that this car will be a special version of the 2013 Dodge Dart.
This will be the fourth Mopar model in as many years, following on the heels of the Mopar 2010 Challenger, Mopar 2011 Charger and the Mopar '2012 300. There are no details for the Mopar '13 Dart, but we do see that the car will retain the signature black-and-blue color scheme as past Mopar editions. Like these previous models, we expect production of Mopar '13 Dart to be limited to just 500 units.
Scroll down for Chrysler's press release teasing the new Mopar model, and we'll be sure to bring you plenty of live images from the show floor in a couple weeks.
Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules
Sun, 24 Aug 2014Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.
Dodge Hellcats getting price hike
Fri, Aug 21 2015Dodge plans twice as many Hellcats on the road for the 2016 model year, they are going to be a bit more expensive when buyers sign on the dotted line. According to CarsDirect and confirmed to Autoblog by Dodge, 2016 Challenger SRT Hellcat costs $65,190, an increase of $4,200 over 2015. That figure includes $995 for destination and $1,700 for the Gas Guzzler charge. The latest Charger SRT Hellcat retails for $68,640, a $3,650 increase. Other SRT trims of the muscle cars also see a price hike. The 2016 Challenger SRT 392 is $51,190, after destination and a $1,000 guzzler charger – a $3,500 increase. The Charger SRT 392 also jumps $3,000, to $51,990. Even at 2015's prices, Dodge was having problems keeping up with demand for the Hellcat, and the higher price isn't likely to change that. And before you think the company is going plum crazy, the 2016 models of all four muscle cars come standard with Laguna leather seats and navigation. According to company spokesperson Dan Reid to Autoblog, both items had a "very high customer take rate," and the previously optional features are valued at $2,490. Dodge previously announced a discount for those who had a sold 2015 Hellcat order canceled in the switch to 2016. Those amount to $5,000 on the Challenger and $4,000 Charger, which seems like a sweet deal for those customers. Related Video:
