Original Owner. Well Used. Well Maintained. Some cosmetic issues, but great mechanically. We've always had the governor set at 70 mph, so it's never been run too hard. You can reset it if you want. This truck has never let us down.
A/C has a leak, but can be fixed, we got a quote at the end of last summer. Needs a new horn. The water pump, tensioner and serpentine were done about a year ago. Transmission circuit board was done about 2 years ago. Brakes done last year. Front end tightened up last year. 2 new tires/2 with about 15k mi left. Driver's door replaced 2 years ago. Rear Driver's side cargo door replaced 3 years ago. The truck has never been wrecked, but has had its share of bumps and bruises. Front bumper backed in a little, dent in front of driver's side rear, dent after pass. side rear. All doors work perfectly. You can see a few dents and scrapes, but at 9 years old that's to be expected. You can logo this up and put it to work tomorrow. I have more pics and can take pics of any specific area you like. Defiance Dodge Charger, saving Earth from aliens isn't clean work [w/video]
Fri, 08 Feb 2013You'll be forgiven for not having heard about the TV show Defiance - it actually hasn't aired its first episode yet. The new science fiction show about an alien war against Earth in the near future seems like a perfect fit for the SyFy channel, and, apparently one that Dodge saw as a slick marketing opportunity for its Charger sedan.
Here in Chicago, Dodge has given a large corner of its show stand to the Defiance Charger, a car that won't be skipped by any Mad Max fans in attendance at this year's show. The Charger boasts one hell of a gnarly patina under a confusingly welded cage of tube steel, as well as window bars, a grille guard in front, and big, knobby truck tires. There aren't any obvious guns or turrets on the outside of the vehicle, so we can only hope that the characters driving it go well-armed.
Look for the Charger to make its star turn in Defiance when the series premieres on SyFy on April 15 at 9:00 PM EST. Also, there's said to be a Defiance video game in the works, too, so you may get a chance to steer the burly Dodge for yourself. Find a trailer for the show, below, as well.
2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat revealed [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Almost immediately after we drove the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, we began wondering: what's next? Pumping 707 horsepower into the Challenger seemed so crazy - and so intoxicating - we just assumed that Dodge would try that trick again.
Rumors swirled about a Charger Hellcat. Frankly it makes even more sense than the Challenger version. The Charger is a bigger car, and Dodge has never been shy about dropping monster engines under its hood. Hell (cat), we've seen Charger mules running around town that appeared to be the super sedan.
And finally, it's here. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat was revealed today at a preview event near Detroit, and it will be a centerpiece of the Chrysler display this weekend at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Dodge Journey gets new $24,895* SE V6 AWD model
Wed, 12 Mar 2014While the Dodge Journey crossover remains largely unchanged for the 2014 model year, there are two new flavors of the seven-passenger CUV on offer: the butch-looking Crossroad, and the SE V6 AWD, pictured right, which makes its debut today. As its name suggests, this new Journey model features the automaker's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, and offers all-wheel drive, which, with a starting price of $24,895 (*excluding $995 for destination), reduces the cost-of-entry for an AWD-equipped Journey by $1,800 versus the SXT AWD model.
