Got an estimate of $4900 from a reputable body shop in Richmond. Did not effect drivability. Runs straight & smooth. Have put on close to 1400 miles since the accident. Drive everyday so mileage may be a little higher ( 200 miles + ) at end of auction."

Offering a nice, except body damage,,, 2004 Dodge Sprinter Van. Originally set up as a 12 passenger van for nursing home. We purchased this for business in 2006 with only 10,000 miles. Removed all but 1 row of seats. Great as family van with lots of stuff. Throw the bikes in the back. Also works as a Cargo or Crew Van. This vehicle is in very good condition. We have maintained it with regular oil changes and usual maintainence. No smoking and recent accident, see pictures. This van was on ebay in May before the accident. Problem with title caused auction to end. Title is clear from DMV.

Here is a list of some recent repairs.

Tires have 80% tread, Michelin new in fall on 2012 from Discount Tire, still has their warranty. New front rotors 2011   New tail pipe 2012  Serpentine Belt replaced 2012  Clock spring replaced 2009.

Oil change, Fuel Filter change, Turbo Resonator replaces, Turbo intake hose replaced. June 2013.

Van runs smooth & straight. Pulls strong, just repaired turbo resonator & hose air leake causing Limp mode. Van runs strong! Usually drive the  Richmond - Atlanta  &  Philly corridor delivering harps, mostly highway miles. Great mileage in the 22-25 mpg range depending on load & foot. Got 23.5 mpg on recent trip, even with no bumper!!    Selling to get new Crew Van. Just drove to Atlanta this past week after accident without incident.

Floor has rubber & vinyl covering. Rear ac unit has been removed however side vents are still in place, see pictures.  Front AC blows cold.  A few other details, including a side running board for entering the side door. There is also a grab pole to help step up inside the side doorway. Reverse warning signal that beeps. Alpine Radio with Ipod hookup. Includes 2 factory keys.

Seats  This is like a crew Van. The single jump seat in the 2nd row has a shoulder strap. Not too comfortable on a long trip. The other 2 seats in the 2nd row have lap belts. No shoulder harness. However they are special seats that have a lap & shoulder strap if you pull down the main back padding. Great for small kids, but not teenagers.

Only issue is rear body damage. Hit 2 weeks ago on I-81. This is cosmetic only as engine/transmission/drivetrain are in excellent condition and were not effected in accident.  All lights work properly. Drove home 150 miles  from accident. Could probably go the Maaco or Earl Schieb route and repair for less than $5K in my opinion! Van drives smooth & straight. Mileage at the time of the accident was 171,700. Drove to Atlanta last week. without any problems.  Radio sometimes stops but simple to reset.  Also have the original radio with codes. Do not have other passenger seats, but seat belts are still installed for 15 passenger setup.

Van is located in Richmond, Va.,  but delivery between  Atlanta to Philly could be arranged for a fee.  Call me or email with questions.  Clear title in hand!

Cash   Certified bank check       Bank Wire.    Paypal.     Payment within 3 days of winning bid. Serious bidders only.  Bid With Confidence        100% Feed Back  Good Luck

Van did great in accident, able to keep on road. Like driving a boat when hit! JFYI

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in latest Head 2 Head

Fri, Jan 30 2015

"Olympian" is one of the terms we use to signify the greatest height, the seat of the gods. Yet Mt. Olympus is the second-highest peak in the Balkans ranges, overshadowed by the crest at Musala in Bulgaria's Rila mountains. Both great heights, but one is a little higher. That's how we get the Olympian Chevy Camaro ZL1 pitched at the Musalic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Motor Trend's latest episode of Head 2 Head. The side-by-side spec sheet is filled with farcical numbers. For the ZL1, that's a 6.2-liter V8 with 580 horsepower, 556 pound-feet of torque, a 4,051-pound curb weight, 0-to-60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 12.2 seconds and a base price of just $57,800. Opposing that, the Hellcat wrings out its 6.2-liter V8 for 707 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque, weighs 4,449 pounds, does the quarter in 11.7 seconds and has a base price of just $60,990. Except in the case of the Hellcat, when Motor Trend put it on the dyno the machine spit out a reading of 672 hp and 606 lb-ft at the wheels. If there's a 10-percent driveline loss through those beefed-up internals and heavy-duty eight-speed transmission, that means the Hellcat is actually rated at about 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft. But once they get put on a closed-off strip of coast road in Northern California, there are only a few strands of hair between their respective performances. That's not the case for they sensations provide; host Jonny Lieberman calls one of them, "One of the most incredible cars ever made," and says, "It changes everything." Watch the video above to see who got the verdict and how. Related Video:

Dodge delaying Challenger Hellcats ordered with satin black hood [UPDATE]

Tue, Dec 16 2014

The new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is one of the most formidable muscle cars on the planet. And it looks the part, too – especially with the optional satin black hood. But if you were one of the first customers to place an order for the 707-horsepower Mopar muscle car and specified the black hood on the options sheet, you may have to wait awhile. According to members of the Hellcat.org forum cited by Car and Driver, deliveries of certain Challenger Hellcats have been delayed without explanation. When these fanatic customers started looking into the issue, they realized that all of the delayed orders shared one thing in common: they all had ordered their Dodges with that optional black hood. Although an exact reason wasn't specified, those who ordered the black hood on their Challenger coupes were told that delivery was being pushed back to February. But some were reportedly informed by their local dealership that things could be moved along if they switched their order to a body-colored hood instead. It's not clear if the issue is a supplier problem, a paint booth issue at the factory, or something else entirely. We've reached out to Dodge for clarification, and will update this story when we hear back. UPDATE: Reached for comment, a Dodge spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the satin black hood "is not currently available for production" and that customers who ordered it "can opt to change their order to a body-color hood" or otherwise have their orders delayed until the option becomes available at a later date to be confirmed.

1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
