UP FOR SALE IS:

DODGE RAM VAN 1996 B2500 - V8 5.2L ENGINE

I bought this van from a dealer a couple of months ago on moving to the USA but I am now sadly having to sell as going back to the UK on 2 Dec.

Please note I am currently  located in Duck Key (Marathon) in the Florida Keys and not Fernandina Beach.

Am looking for a quick sale as moving in 2 weeks.

Here is the link to the original advert from the dealer I purchased the van from in orlando.  This will provide thorough information:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271270811948?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

This contains all the details of the van and more pictures than I will post on here.

I have done just over 3000 miles in the van, all motorway between miami, orlando and the keys.

The van runs smoothly and drives great.  It's at its smoothest on the motorway at about 70-80 mph and it seems to love cruising.

The seats are the comfiest I have ever sat in whilst driving.

Van is in great overall condition.  The outside looks like its had a re-spray at some point and is pretty smart. The interior is very clean and no histroy of dogs or smokers.

The van had one owner before myself and they have looked after it well.  They have upgraded the cd player which also has an mp3 socket so can plug ipod in.  Comes with 2 sets of keys, all original paperwork etc.

Everything seems to work except the cassette player in the back and a few lightbulbs need changing.  I was going to change the tv and dvd player myself as would look great with a flat screen.

Cruise Control, Electric windows, electric central locking, spare tyre plus tools, electric fold out bed, electric seats, cd player with mp3 socket, tv, dvd player, air conditioning (front and rear), power steering.

The electric fold out bed is fully working too.

Any questions just let me know.

I would be able to deliver to the Miami area on 2nd Dec otherwise pick - ups and viewing is here in the keys on Marathon.  Thanks.

Dodge Charger Pursuit nets quickest lap in police car test

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

We wouldn't advocate trying to outrun the police, no matter what you're driving and no matter what they are. But if you see a Dodge Charger bearing down on you with blue lights flashing in your rearview mirror, you'd better think twice before attempting to flee, because the Charger Pursuit has once again emerged as the fastest police cruiser out there.
In the latest Police Vehicle Evaluation held by the Michigan State Police at Grattan Raceway, Dodge says its new Charger Pursuit AWD posted a lap time of 1:33.85. That's quicker than any of the other law enforcement vehicles present, but also makes it the quickest all-wheel-drive cruiser available to law-enforcement officials. That may not make it the quickest of all time, but that honor belongs to the rear-drive Dodge Charger Pursuit, which cuts a fraction of a second off its AWD counterpart's time with a 1:33.70. But in regions where the extra traction could come in handy, that's as negligible a difference as we've ever seen.
Of course, the annual PVE sessions held by the Michigan State Police take in to account a wide variety of performance tests, including top speed, acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy and ergonomics. The MSP has yet to reveal its full findings from its 2014 model year tests, but we'll be sure to bring them to you when they are published.

Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.

Dodge, Jeep and Ram could soon be owned by Chinese automakers

Mon, Aug 14 2017

For the past several years, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has made it widely known that the automaker he helms is up for grabs. First, he sent an email to GM CEO Mary Barra, who immediately refused to even discuss a merger. Later, Marchionne set his sights on Volkswagen. That too was swiftly rebuffed. It seemed like no global automaker was remotely interested in a partnership. Now, Automotive News reports that several Chinese automakers have come calling, only FCA isn't ready to answer. At least not yet. The news broke this morning that a major Chinese automaker had made an offer to purchase FCA for slightly above market value. FCA refused, saying the offer wasn't quite generous enough. It's unclear which automaker made the offer, but Automotive News says there's more than one interested party. FCA representatives have recently traveled to China to meet with Great Wall Motors, while Chinese representatives were seen at FCA corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Chinese government has a lot of money invested in local automakers. It's putting pressure on these automakers to expand globally, including to the United States. As it stands, it's a matter of when a Chinese automaker will start selling cars here, not if. Purchasing an established automaker with a wide range of products and a huge dealer network would do wonders in giving the Chinese a foothold here. Sure, Geely owns Volvo, but a luxury automaker doesn't have nearly as much reach as a more mainstream company like FCA. This seems like the best case scenario for both a Chinese automaker looking to move into the U.S. and for FCA, at least from a business standpoint. The latter doesn't seem to have any other interested parties. It will be interesting to see how FCA would sell a deal like this to the public. We're not sure everyone will be happy with Dodge, Jeep and Ram falling under Chinese ownership. FCA didn't turn down the Chinese because they didn't like the idea. It turned down the offer because there wasn't enough money on the table. Related Video: News Source: Automotive News Earnings/Financials Alfa Romeo Chrysler Dodge Fiat Jeep RAM
